Chapter 4

“Ajax! Hey, do you have that package for Filtairn?” he heard called out to him.

Ajax turned towards the other end of the bar with a smile, “Hey Bleiz! I didn't realize it'd be you coming. Hungry?”

“I was already out this way finishing up some other errands. Oh man! I am absolutely starved but unfortunately, I don't have much time. The wife is expecting me,” Bleiz replied. He was a handsome Lycan with blonde hair, bright green eyes and a ready smile.

“No problem. Oh hey, there are two Lycan chicks at the other end of the bar that desperately need to talk to Filtairn.”

“Lovely. Hopefully it doesn't mean I'm stuck. I haven't seen Roxy in two days. If I don't spend some time with my wife, she's going to beat my ass.”

Ajax chuckled at his friend. “They're from out of town but I gather it's rather important they see him.”

“I know he was wanting to see Queen Theanna as well and since I see that she's here, let me call him,” Bleiz stated as he pulled out his cell phone. Dialing Filtairn's number, he waited until he heard a voice answer before he said, “Hey boss, I'm at Mythos picking up that package. Queen Theanna is here. Didn't you want to talk to her?”

“Yes, but I won't this evening. She works too much as it is so I don't want to disturb what little fun she has,” Filtairn replied.

“Ah, gotcha. Also, Ajax says there are two female Lycans here from out of town that say it's extremely important that they speak with you. I haven't talked to them yet so I don't know what it's about.”

“Hmmm, interesting. Drop them off here when you bring the package by. I know Roxy has been missing you so after you bring them here I want you to head home. We have to keep our females happy!”

“That we do!” Bleiz smiled. “We'll see you in a bit then.” Just as he hung up his phone and returned it to his back jean pocket, there was a loud rumbling noise that filled the club. “What the fuck?”

Suddenly, a dozen Daemoni soldiers appeared, fully armed in their battle armor, surrounding Theanna and Damian and the VIP area of Mythos, their weapons pulled out as if to protect their Queen. Their sudden appearance caused patrons to cry out in surprise as the music came to a screeching stop. “What’s the meaning of this?” Theanna loudly demanded as she stood up, her dark purple horns appearing, making her anger quite evident.

With a second loud crack, Lazerin, Damian's High Commander of Ikisat, and Hezin, a Commander in Theanna's Royal Guard, appeared on bended knee before her. “My Queen, it's urgent that we return you to the Dark Realms immediately. Titans are attacking in force,” Hezin explained.

“Which realms?” Damian asked.

“All of them, my Prince,” Lazerin replied. “They've appeared at every gate.”

Theanna looked at Damian in shock. She turned to look at Kira and as their eyes connected they nodded at each other. With a flash, Thea and Damian left Mythos with all the soldiers as Theanna sent a message to Samyael, '*Guard Mythos, protect my friends and family. You’re in command.'*

Sam immediately responded, '*Yes, my Queen!*'

Before Lazerin left, his eyes sought out Kira’s. She smiled shyly at the handsome Daemoni commander as he left. She sighed quietly to herself. Lazerin was as hot as they came with his lean, muscled body, and longish dark hair that she just knew had to be gorgeous when it wasn't so carefully styled. Every single time she saw him she was drawn to his deep green eyes and how they always managed to find her no matter the crowd size.

Phew! She had to get back to the important matter, the Titans. She pulled out her cell phone and dialed Darius Deus as she headed towards Liam. “Darius, the Titans are attacking the Dark Realms, and from what Lazerin said, they're at every gate.”

“Where are you at?” Darius asked.

“Mythos.”

“Have Liam close up and I need both of you, along with Lilith, in my office as soon as you can. If Samyael is available, have him join us as well!”

“We’ll be there soon!” Kira responded as she approached Liam.

“What was all of that?” Liam growled angrily.

“Thea was pulled home. Titans decided to attack the Dark Realms. Darius needs us as well as Lilith and Sam. He wants Mythos closed for right now.”

“Of course!” As he clicked on the radio to the bouncers, Liam ordered, “Time to close up. Darius needs everyone to be safe at home.”

Ajax started shutting things down in response to the radio message as Theanna's voice filled his mind. '*Handsome, Titans are attacking the Dark Realms. Get yourself, along with the Lycan girls and Bleiz to Filtairn immediately and let him know. There's always been some sort of connection between the Titans and Lycans and until I learn more I want all of y'all to be safe. Be careful, my friend!*'

Ajax immediately turned to Bleiz, “Come on, let's get those girls. We all need to see Filtairn.”

“What's going on?”

“Titans are attacking the Dark Realms,” Ajax stated as he got closer to the cubs. “Theanna just sent me a message that I needed to make sure we made it safely to the compound.”

“Shit! Let's go!”

Immediately, they headed towards Lina and Sophia. When they reached them, Lina asked, “What's going on? Why are the bouncers escorting everyone out? What was up with those soldiers?”

“Titans are attacking the Dark Realms. Queen Theanna instructed Bleiz, Filtairn's lieutenant, and I to make sure y'all got to Filtairn. So that's what we're going to do,” Ajax explained.

“Darn it! I wanted to dance,” Sophia pouted as suddenly floppy bunny ears appeared on her head.

“First of all, Mythos is shutting down for the night because Darius wants to make sure everyone is safe. Secondly, what the frackity frack? You have bunny ears, as in REAL bunny ears!” Ajax exclaimed in shock as he and Bleiz just stared at Sophia.

“Crap! Crap! Not again!” Sophia started to panic as her hands immediately went up to her long, soft bunny ears.

“Shit! This is why we need to see Filtairn. A week ago, Sophia started shifting into all sorts of animals. Our family has been part of the same clan for hundreds of years. It’s from a remote region in Northern Canada where we're lucky to even see one human in our lifetime. There are several clans that made their homes in that area for just that reason. None of the leaders, none of the women, have ever heard of this happening. We were told Filtairn might be able to help us to figure out what’s going on!” Lina explained as she hugged Sophia trying to calm her down.

“Well, let's get you two to see him then. What a crazy night! And to think all I wanted was a quiet night at home with my mate,” Bleiz muttered as he led them out the front door with Ajax in tow.

Seeing Sam at the door, Ajax explained to him, “We're going to see Filtairn and tell him what's happening. Call me if you need me.”

“Will do! Stay safe. Titans are always bad news!”

“Yes, they are, to everyone!”

Bleiz led them to his car as he asked, “Do y'all have bags in your car?”

“We do. How about we just follow you?” Lina suggested.

“Which one is yours?”

“The blue Ford truck. Probably one of the only trucks around here.”

“You'd be surprised. Ok, follow Ajax and I. It's a bit of a drive. We live on the outskirts of LA,” Bleiz explained.

Lina nodded as she and Sophia quickly headed towards their truck. As she started up the truck, Lina said to Sophia, “Just close your eyes, and reconnect with your wolf and bond with her.”

Sophia nodded as she leaned her seat back and did just that. Before long, the ears vanished once again.
