"When am I pregnant?" Felicity asked.
Hana looked at Raymond surprised "little Ray, how come little Lee doesn't know she is pregnant, didn't you tell her?"
"I was about asking the same thing" Desmond said looking at Raymond too.
"Grandma, grandpa, Felicity has been feeling kind of sick lately..." Raymond began.
"I was?" Felicity interrupted.
Raymond faced her "darling, don't you remember? What are we going to do with this your forgetful memory" he released a dramatic sigh.
"Forgetful? But aunt Katy always say..." Felicity wanted to defend herself when Raymond pressed his index finger on her lips.
He smiled "it's alright, it's very expected from a pregnant woman" he chuckled. Felicity wanted to speak but his finger on her lips pressed tighter and she said nothing. Raymond turned to his grandparents with a light chuckle "we went to the hospital just this morning before coming here that's why she doesn't know about her pregnancy. We will get the result when leaving and that's when it will be confirmed. But I'm very sure she is pregnant."
"If that's the case, I shouldn't really rejoice right? We will wait till you get the result" Hana said while looking at her husband "isn't that better dear?"
"Yes. Just call us immediately you see the result, okay?" Desmond added.
"We will grandpa. But you don't have to worry, the result will be positive."
"I can't wait to hear it" Desmond smiled.
"Me too" Hana chuckled.
The rest of the afternoon was spent with them talking about Felicity truly being pregnant.
Felicity didn't join in the conversations as always, she kept wondering when they went to the hospital but every time she wants to ask, Raymond would shut her up.?
Finally, it was the time for them to leave. "Don't forget to call us and tell us the news little Ray, whatever it will be" Hana reminded.
"Sure grandma" he kissed her hair and they waved goodbye to them.
Morris opened the car door for them and immediately they sat down, Felicity turned to Raymond with a frown, "why did you lie to grandma and grandpa little Ray? When did we visit the hospital?"
Raymond groaned "Felicity, I had to do it because of grandma."
"Why?"
"Because grandma will be sad if we don't go to a hospital."
"Then let's go to a hospital so that she won't be sad."
"Fine, we will go."
She smiled "good" she rested on the seat and after a second, she jumped "little Ray, how am I pregnant?"
"What do you mean?" Raymond frowned.
"One day, I was watching a movie with Grace and the girl was pregnant. When I asked how she was pregnant, Grace said because she slept with her husband. But I have not sleep with you before, so how did I get pregnant?"
"I don't know" Raymond decided to tease her.
"Oh no" she clutched her tummy then and glanced at Raymond with fearful eyes "did someone sleep with me when I was sleeping? Now I'm pregnant, what am I going to do little Ray, I don't know who slept with me" she was at the brim of crying, her eyes were red "aunt Katy will call me stupid again if I tell her I'm pregnant when I did not sleep with you."
Raymond was first amused but when he saw her tears, something pulled at his heartstring and he reached out to her. He pulled her into his arms then and comforted her "it's okay Felicity. You are not pregnant."
"But you said I am."
"Because I wanted grandma and grandpa to be happy."
She looked at him with her tearful eyes "but they will be sad if they find out you lied to them."
"I know. Which is why we are going to act like you had a ?miscarriage."
"How?" She frowned.
"We are going to claim that you had a miscarriage, then you will go to a hospital."
"But how can I have a miscarriage if I'm not pregnant?"
"That's the thing. We will pretend you are pregnant, then after three or four days, we will also pretend that you have a miscarriage."
"But I don't want to have a miscarriage" she defended.
"But you are not really pregnant" Raymond said to her.
"That's why I don't want to have a miscarriage too."
Raymond groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose "Felicity" he called "if we don't claim that you have a miscarriage, what are you going to tell grandma when the time comes for you to give birth, hmm?"
Felicity didn't answer at the moment "but miscarriage means the baby will die. I don't want to kill the baby."
"But you are not pregnant, so you are not killing the baby" he softened his tone at her "don't worry, after this time. We will have a real baby, okay?"
Her eyes brightened then "you will sleep with me?"
Raymond didn't know how to answer but he knew, her sleeping together and his sleeping together doesn't mean the same thing, so he nodded "yes, I will sleep with you."
Felicity hugged him "thank you little Ray. We will have a baby" she giggled.
Raymond looked at the rearview mirror to see morris stifling a laugh and he frowned "concentrate on the road" he ordered.
"Yes sir" Morris sat up immediately.
Raymond hugged Felicity all through the ride but mainly because she didn't want to let him go.

Three days later, Raymond called Katherine to his office. When she entered, he asked her to sit to which Katherine was surprised about but still took the seat "there is something I need your help with."
"What could that be?" Katherine asked?
"Three days ago, I went to my grandparents house with Felicity. During the discussion, I had mentioned that Felicity is pregnant."
"What?" Katherine shouted "it's only been two months and you have breached the contract? We agreed that you will not touch her!"
"If you will let me finish, then you will know if I had breached the contract or not."
When he said that, Katherine calmed down "I'm sorry."
"Good. Now, my grandparents have been expecting the news and you will not blame them since I'm not impotent and we have been married for two months already."
"And Felicity is also not at fault because she is not barren."
"I never said it was Felicity's fault. Now what I'm saying is that, I told them Felicity is pregnant in order to carry on with the facade."
"So now they believe that Felicity is pregnant, what are you going to do as the months go by and she would be expected to be showing."
"That's what I want to talk with you about."
"I am not going to allow you to impregnate Felicity."
"Dream on McCarthy, I'm never going to touch your niece, she is not my kind of woman" he can't believe he lied with a straight face but there is no way he is going to admit to having a soft spot for Felicity in the presence of Katherine, it will ruin his ego.
"My niece is not filthy."
"I didn't say she is, I only said she is not my type."
"What do you propose we do about this fake pregnancy?"
"We are going to fake a miscarriage."
"What? How are we going to do that?"
"That's what I want you to think about."
"Me? Why do I have to be the one to think about it, I was not the one who blabbered to your grandparents."
"Watch your mouth McCarthy" he warned.
"I'm sorry" she apologized "but what possible idea can I come up with?"
"That's what you have to find out. McCarthy, when you agreed to this contract, you agreed to solve any situation that comes up with it. I wouldn't have lied to my grandparents that Felicity is pregnant if not that you insisted I shouldn't touch her. So now that an issue arose because of it, you have to find a way out of it. I have already tried by suggesting miscarriage, you just have to put it into play."
"But..."
"You can leave no McCarthy. Let me know when you come up with a nice plan" he dismissed her.
Katherine left his office looking lost. She got into her own office and tried to concentrate on her work.
By the end of the day, an idea struck her and she left to find Raymond.
He was getting ready to leave his office when she entered and he was surprised "McCarthy, I don't see you everyday and now I'm seeing you twice in one day."
"I have a plan."
"Good, let's hear it."
"I was thinking since Mercy is aware about the contract, we can let her in on this."
"Okay. So?"
"It's simple. She is very close to Felicity. We just have to maybe, wait for the day your grandparents will visit, then Felicity will claim to want to take a bath while Mercy will follow her as her nanny, right in the bathroom, she will pour blood on Felicity and on the bathroom floor. Felicity will scream and you will run upstairs to find her in a pool of blood, then you will rush her to a hospital. You can get a doctor in the plan too. He will examine her and give the sad news that she lost the baby."
"Excellent McCarthy, but I know my grandparents, they will blame Mercy and request for her to be replaced"
"Why?"
"Because she didn't take good care of Felicity and also, because she was with her in the bathroom when she fell."
"No, Mercy will not be with her. After arranging the blood and every other thing, she will leave the room to make lunch or dinner, whichever at that moment."
Raymond nodded "that's good, we will go with it."
"Well, there is only one problem now."
"What is it?"
"How do we tell Felicity?"
Raymond smiled, "don't worry, I will tell her myself."
"Good. So when will it be?"
"The earlier the better, so I say tomorrow evening."
"How are we going to get your grandparents to come?"
"Oh, it's easy. I just have to tell grandma to join us for dinner. Grandpa is sure to follow her. They will take any opportunity to see Felicity" he smiled.
"They really like her?"
"To be honest, I am shock myself. I thought it will take time before they will get close to her but it actually happened that first day. They loved her at first sight. She has a charm I must tell you, but too bad it's not working on me" he grinned even though he knew it was a big fat lie.
Katherine rolled her eyes "I just hope this incident won't have a negative effect on Felicity. Ever since her parents accident, she had hated the sight of blood."
"Don't worry, I will explain it to her quietly" he said.
"Fine. I will take my leave now" she left the office while Raymond smiled and made a phone call to his doctor.
