Betrayed and Alone

**Aileen POV**



Prince Roy shooed away the sad faced children. He assured them all that they could come see him tomorrow at his show. He blew kisses to the little girls fighting their parents to get back to him.

What caught my eye was the man standing next to him. He was in no kind of Renaissance looking gear at all. He was no knight or prince charming. Again this man was older. I would say he was about the same age as Lena; 24ish. He had blonde hair cut short slightly buzzed and the most piercing blue eyes I had ever seen. They looked like they could see into your very being.

Roy walked over to a more private location at the edge of the fair. Blue eyes followed close behind. Cautiously, I walked with them. Prince Roy was a flirt and obnoxiously loud at times. He had no spine and could never take charge. Something was wrong with him. I thought of texting my brother. I had a growing worry in burning at my temples.

The man said nothing and Roy said very little. My anxiety increased. Roy did not know how to shut up either. There were many reasons I did not want to marry him. I had told Father that he would loose his kingdom if he were ever crowned.

With a wave of his arm, Prince Roy made his announcement. "You and I will not wed."

That dumb founded me. He was the one pushing for us, wanting an alliance with Lutz. I should be over the moon, but there was clearly more to this.

I made no comment.

Annoyed Roy said, "you could show some emotion! I'm trading you for a better model. She's great in bed and carrying my child! I don't need your used up community service cunt anymore."

How dare he! I was so enraged it didn't register how he knew. Father had made sure no one would speak about what happened to me. It wasn't like I slept around. I didn't have a choice!

"Still wouldn't ever sleep with your diseased dick! Congratulations! You found someone ready to settle." My fists wanted to pound into his face. I had started today in such a good mood too.

He gave me a knowing sneer I wanted to wipe away. Where was this coming from.

"Oh yes I found out a lot about you. Including your love for a demon! A bunch of thugs tossing you around not exciting enough? You have to suck off a demon Lord too? Oh its okay now. I know it was a dream, besides I've cheated on you too many times to count!"

My teeth were cracking as I ground at them. "Is that what all the texts were about? You wanted to show me your hand. How do you know all this?!"

*"Filthy whore." "I know you enjoy that just as much as we did." "slutty princess."*

I punched the pole near where I was standing. The impact rang out. All my secrets were known to some spoiled Prince? I wanted to know why now.

"Of course, and to introduce my good friend Devon! He had so much to tell me about your dirty ass. Tell me my princess did you cum for those dirty men back then? Was daddy Lutz mad?"

Devon...Devon... I knew that name DEVON! The dream guy. I had his face now. And he told my secrets! Did that mean Shiuku knew as well? Is that why I had no dreams last night? Even a demon saw me as a used up whore.

"Oh this gets better. Remember how I told you to leave the DSS and you told me that I had no control to stop you?"

No no no no NO My face drained of all color.

"I sent your brother a little text about 20 minutes ago. I wonder what the higher ups will think about your hidden life. Slut."

Trevor would never. He would not turn me in. He would talk to me first. Trevor would know there was more to it. He couldn't just turn me into the DSS without more information. We had trust now.

"They were right. Those bad men calling you nasty names while they took turns. At first I felt bad for you until Shiuku told me about how hot you got for him. But lucky you! He still wants you."

Devon cast his gaze to the ground. My heartbeat was in my throat choking off my air supply. "You sold me out. Is that why Devon is here? I won't go! I'll just report back to the DSS you're working with Shiuku."

He laughed out evilly, "oh I don't think you will. Anyways I did get offered a lot for my country in exchange. He can have filth like you."

My phone dinged. Devon offered me his hand. I slapped it away and took out my phone. Lena had texted me. Shit. Trevor didn't give me a chance. Even after yesterday. My heart was shattering. I needed to leave now.

"Read the message" Devon ordered in a whisper.

I threw my phone at Roy. He let it hit him and fall to the ground. I didn't want to read proof of the one person I trusted turning his back on me. Roy stomped on my phone. That was fine with me. Fuck all of them. I'm not a traitor. I'm not a whore....right. I just had one slip up in a dream.

Prince Roy's laughs and cruel jokes fell on death ears. My mind was swallowed in a silent sea.

I felt a pressure on my hand. As much as I hated him, at least his hand was warm; almost comforting. He looked miserable. Where Roy was loving my pitiful state, Devon was hurting too.

He should! He betrayed me too! Everyone I try to get close to sends me right back to this state. I don't want to learn this lesson again! "Let me go!"

I kicked Devon in the shin. He made no attempt to dodge. Roy had an amused expression showing. "Oh so she can fight back."

Devon sent daggers at his accomplice. He finally spoke, "Shiuku is waiting for you. Let's not cause anymore of a scene. He's going to give you a choice."

I would be stupid to trust him. This man has watched me get touched and naked countless times never saying a word.

He persisted, "do you want to see your dad?"

My body went frigid. "Father is here?" My voice was timid and weak.

"He has been for a few days now. The DSS has been searching for him since he managed to escape." Devon said full of pity.

Father was here and the DSS knew. Squad Leader Lena would have known and probably Trevor too. That's the real reason he was acting so weird these past days.

Am I really that untrustworthy. My own brother wouldn't tell me. They all knew! I really was all alone again.

I pinched my sides willing myself not cry. Devon and Roy would not see how defeated I truly was.

"I'll go with you. But I will fight if this is a trap. Shiuku will not have me!"

*"stupid bitch" "No one could ever love you." "Our used up whore." *

I won't let them win. Not even if the world moves against me. The promise will keep me breathing. I blinked away any remaining tears threatening to fall.

**Trevor POV**



I need to get to Aileen soon! I knew there was more she was hiding. I'm not sure what that psycho path is doing, but I will save my sister. To think I was there in the same house never knowing she was having nightmares about that freaking demon! I could have done more. I failed her.

Whatever Shiuku wanted with her wouldn't be good. My guess was trying to produce another child to help lead once Lena is dead. That was what the last poor girl was used for. That baby demon had tore her from the inside out killing both of them. He wanted Aileen to be next.

I grabbed my phone and called both Squad Leader Lena and Tom.

"What's with the duel call? Did something happen with Aileen's father? Is he causing more complications?" Lena asked.

"Shiuku is after Aileen. I think he is going to use her like Rachel." I screamed into my phone panicked. "Her freaking fiance sold her out after Shiuku approached him. He just texted me."

Tom cursed on the other end. Lena was grunting, probably punching something heavy.

"What did the text say?" Tom asked.

I read most of it to them, "Just so you know your precious sister is a whore who dreams of fucking a demon Lord named Shiuku. Apparently this has been going on for years. Sorry she never told me either. Oh well she's his problem now. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case a report needed filed that she's joined Shiuku. Some guy named Devon told me everything about my ex."

I left out the part about her being forced by a gang as a child. That was probably what she avoided telling me yesterday. The ball-less ass, poking fun at something that had her ready to slit her neck. I'll kill Roy with my bare hands next time I see him. Rip his little dick off.

Lena yelled out, "find her now! Do not let her get into either of their hands! We'll be there shortly."

They both hung up. Glad to know my favorite squad leader couple cared about her as much as I did.

I looked up at the sky. Where are you Aileen?!

"Don't worry you'll be seeing her soon." I didn't spin around quick enough. Fire engulfed my entire body before I could see my attacker. I screamed in both frustration and immense pain.

I tried to use my elemental ability, but the flames grew hotter dancing across my skin.. Any water I could manage evaporated instantly. Damn.
