I drag my notification bar down and it's blank. I start to dial Dani's number when my phone starts to beep.

Luca.

"Baby how are you" as if he doesn't know.

"Quit acting Luca" I grumbled.

"Huh?"

"Don't huh me. I know very well that Gracie is updating you 24×7 about me. So don't try to act like a fool"

He didn't say anything.
I smirked.

"What !? Cat caught your tongue ?"

"Why are you so pissed ?

"There's nothing to do here. So I thought why not to be pissed " and I end the call.

My phone rang and I ignored it.
It rang and rang.
Get lost .

I kept it in silent.
After a while the door opened.
Gracie looked at me weirdly and motioned me her phone.

She gave the phone to me and I stayed silent.
She blinked at me.

"What" I said.

"What the fuck Angel!? Why the hell did you hang on me " he growled.

I stayed silent.

"Angel fucking respond "

"Why!? Is it gonna make a difference to me sitting here!? No right . So you can talk all you want and I will listen. Or you might next time call the security right?"

He disconnected and I handed back Gracie her phone.


I don't think that what I said was wrong.
Okay I get it he cares but what he doesn't know that this is just a small scrape of skin that's gone. And he is treating me as if I underwent some critical surgery.

I stared at the ceiling. Did I say too much?
Why am I the one feeling guilty. I bit my lip. I feel so bad for talking to him like that. I love that man but at the same time he drives me crazy.

There's a knock.
"Gracie why do you knock when you know that I am in here and can't move" I say angrily.

"Hi " Dean pops his head from the door.

I face palm

"Come in ''I say embarrassingly

" Pissed?" He asked.

I sighed and motioned him to sit.

"That lover boy of yours requested no actually ordered me to give these files to you " he says handing them to me. I look at him confused.

And open it.

Its the papers in the contracts pending since I left.

"Lover boy said you are feeling bored. So to engage you in an activity. You know"
I smile.


"Thank god I could make you smile. " he says smirking.

"Lover boy wanted me to hand it to you personally. He came out of the meeting and told it in one breath that it took a minute for me to arrange it in order in my head"
I chuckle.

"By the way this lover boy has a name okay" I say.

"I like this nickname 'lover boy'. "
He says amusingly.

"Then call him that publicly"
He chuckled and then looked at me.

"He would murder me. " he said.


He indicates his hand as a knife and cuts through his neck and puts his head the opposite direction with his eyes close and tongue out. I laugh.

"Shit. I didn't check the time. Gotta go Angie duty calls"
He stood up waving his hands.

"Your lucky Liam isn't here otherwise he would have killed you for calling Angie"

He widen his eyes.

"He isn't here right" he says looking around

I laugh.

As soon as Dean left Gracie came and give me my laptop.

I feel so happy..sitting idle for these days I mean it was only two days but it was bit boring.

When Dean give me I had 15 contracts to complete with. But now only 3 are left. I am really fast with computer.

I hear someone entering my room. This time I don't make any comments because last time with Dean's experience I look up.

There comes a tired Luca. He rolled his sleeves .But when he sees me looking at him. He hides that tiredness and smile brightly.

"How's work" he asks .

I place the laptop on the bed.

"Thanks and sorry" I say guiltily
He makes a confused face.

"Thanks for asking Dean to give me work. And sorry for being rude to you."

"Hey..."
He looks at me and walks towards the bed and sit on the empty space.

"Babe. Have you ever realised that you are the only human being who can get pissed at me and order me around " he held my face on his hands.

"You are not the one at fault. Its solely me. I accept that I can't be a way too much sometimes, but that's beacuse I love you and I can't bear to see you in pain. All that I wanted was you to be safe, heal well and what I didn't think was about how you felt. I am wholeheartedly sorry for that"

How did I land myself such a good human being. I hugged him and kept my face on his neck.


"I shouldn't have hanged up on you ,so I am sorry" I say.
"Angel. You have that right on me. So I am sorry" he argues back
"No I am sorry "

He sighs and hold me .
"I didn't come back from office to listen to you saying sorry for no reason.you are there beside me and that's all that I want. Okay" he poked my nose with his finger and I chuckled.


"I want to move" I frown.

"Not again" he says seriously.

"Did I say I want to move with my legs" I narrow my eyes.

He stares at me.

"I only have one option. You carrying me. So I said...."

"Oh"

"Yeah"

He comes to pick me up.
I shake my head.

"First go and bath. You stink" I say dramatically. And pinch my nose.
He chuckles and go.

I just try lifting my leg you know just for exercise.

And regretted it the next moment .

I screamed.
I guess I have a swelling over there. I heard something breaking and turned my head to snap my head right rapidly.

"What the hell Luca" I yelled . He had nothing on him.
Complete naked.


"Why did you scream." He asked ignoring my question.

"Can't a human being scream" I said my eyes.

"Angel" he said seriously .

"I just tried lifting my leg up and it pained ..that's it. Now go and bath " I say loudly.

"You give me a heart attack" he said .
I heard the footsteps fading.

I peek out and find that he went to the bathroom. Thank god.

My eyes got corrupted for a second. Oh my gosh.

I am like a tomato now. If he saw me in this condition .
Oh my god.
He would get a topic to make fun of me the whole day.

Stupid face blushing like this.

I faced the mirror on my right side.
