Angel's POV
I threw my coat on the couch and slumped on it and shortly heard footsteps approaching.
"Hey, what happened " Luca rushed towards me. He turned my body here and there checking something.
"Are you hurt!? You felt pain or drowsiness ?? I told you woman not to go today. But you won't ju-"
"I am fine Luca. I am fine " I rubbed my temples.
"You don't look fine to me"
"I am physically fine alright " I turned my face away from him.
"Not mentally " he muttered and sat beside me. I held my hands to face sitting and leaning on the couch.
He patted my back and didn't say anything, just stayed there.
"Everything's being........I don't know happening so fast. It's like throwing cold water to your face out of nowhere. I -"
"Hey " he pulled me closer to him and me snuggling .
"I already said this. But will just repeat. I am gonna be here no matter what happens."
"Now tell me, what's playing in that mind of yours ?" He nodded at me.
"Liam passed by work today. "
"He always does that"
"Yeah , he does. But..... he said that grandpa wants to see me "
"I have met him quite a few times. When we were at college together , whenever he wanted to be away from family pressure, taht was his go to go place. " he wasn't pushing me for more content. And I knew I could stop here, but I felt safe. Safe with Luca.
"I am responsible for the fallout that happened yesterday and I could be a bad omen on-"
" That's enough of talking. You are not responsible or at fault here. The things that happened yesterday, was the result of what they did years back. And about the second thing you just said, don't forget your name. All about you is pure. And I don't fycking care about what others are gonna say because they don't know shit. I know you, Liam knows you and that's enough. And don't doubt yourself. " he kissed me and I straddled him.
"How did you end up loving me?" This question had always eating me up. I knew only bits and pieces.
"You already know the story " he pulled me closer.
"But you didn't fall head over heels for me on flight "
He smiled.
"When I first saw you on board, you caught my eye woman. And I just wanted you, like wanted you to be mine. And the rest you know, sending flowers and most particularly the switch of names. And now comes the twist, my whole came down like my oxygen supply got banned when Liam told to back off claiming that you are his girlfriend. Yeah well Dani but I didn't know. I walked like a dead guy for months. And then saw you again at the vacation house . And when I finally found out the truth, my heart started to beat again. I have never felt like that before. Like never."
"You got your oxygen supply back" I held back my laugh.
"Yeah I did, you give it back to me "
"Thank god, my man didn't get suffocated " he chuckled and kissed me long enough tickling me on my soft spots. And he leaned his head on me.
"You deserve to be loved " and he kissed me long enough to give me the confidence.

He is leaning on the doorframe just staring.
"I thought you would come " the packing was done last night but due to the bit of tension hanging behind I forgot to grab my toiletries.
"One of the board members are on leave , so I can't slack." There was a frown on me. It's two days away from him. The same distance thing effects me too. I tried talking him into this but he nope, that guy is not budging.
"I thought you were gonna go all caveman after the act that you threw yesterday " I stood on my ground. Maybe if I can convince him more, there might be positive result.
He looks at me more and finally sighs.
"Babe , I really want to come but ..... I am in a very difficult position " he shrugged.
"I thought I was your priority " I really wanted to take back back what I said after watching his face fall.
"You know what leave it, ignore it and bye" I pecked him and grab my bag. But there wasn't so much a movement of my legs from the room. I was pulled to him.
" I really wanna come with you, fuck woman there isn't a board meeting " he had a distress face loading on.
"I don't understand.... what's wrong?" What is happening here ? He shifted his weight from on leg to another and finally placed me on the bed.
"There's history between us" he said completely avoiding my eyes.
"I am not surprised Liam didn't say a word " he muttered, but I heard it clear enough.
"If you are gonna pace around this room, I am not going to crack anything out of this. And you are running out of time, Liam's gonna pick me anytime " I shrugged.
"Your grandfather hates me "
"Yeah I kinda understood that , but why?"
He sighed loudly and sat beside me facepalming not even looking at me. I am getting a little worried now.
"During college days, I used to part time at a bar. We both used to hang out everytime there. But this one day, Liam's crush rejected him and it was drama. I didn't pat of his back or anything , playboy ways. Well,for me woman at that time were one time use. He was completely wasted after downing shots and me being the ultimate idiot guy told to explore the bar. Okay I admit I told to explore but never knew that assehole would really go way above it. And then after a whole long while , a guy was pushed to the dance floor completely beaten up. Liam obviously, otherwise we won't reach the climax right. I also joined them in the fight and got to know that , that idiot went for a threesome and- WHAT!!" I yelled.
He looked at me through the corner of his eyes.
"Liam as in my brother???"
"I really want to end this story Angel. We can react to this after this please " he begged me. It's definitely a one hell of a story till now though. I just nod.
"He had threesome and one woman in that was a girlfriend of some muscled up guy. Long story short , we ended up in police station and they contacted the speed dial first contact which was your grandfather. He bailed Liam and left and I stayed in the jail for that night. Next day got warned by actually not warned threatened by the old man not to see Liam again. But we got together after a week without him obviously not knowing" I was in complete shock .
"Babe I am not that guy anymore, I swear "
"Did you join him for the- NO" he cut me off.
"I admit that I was a playboy. But one woman at a time " and we heard the horn. I was up in a second .
