Chapter 20

Berliana woke up tired, because as tired as she felt last night, she really thought what she was worried about was still a strange thing.

"Did I dream last night? Victor's robot waking up and saying he has Victor's consciousness is that right? Why does everything feel like such a strange thing?"

Berliana intended not to think too much but still everything entered her mind. It felt strange but she could also only think as she walked towards the bathroom because she was currently feeling quite tired and wanted to take a shower to recover her energy.

"Don't do too much that's not important, it will only take care of the energy inside you and make you feel upset."

That morning she went through everything well until she tidied up her bag and brought some necessary things. Coming out of the room, Berliana gazed at the clean and quiet surroundings, before finally walking towards the kitchen as she intended to turn off the lights. There was no intention of having breakfast today as she felt tired, she could definitely get what she wanted out there as there were also some morning food vendors around here that she could probably consume before getting to the office.

"Are you awake? I made your favorite food."

Berliana stopped walking and turned her head in the direction of the voice, she found the presence of the robot Victor who had walked over with human-like steps. If it wasn't for Berliana thinking that Victor was dead then she would have assumed that the robot was Victor. It felt a little strange but she also didn't know how to say it, she remembered what she thought this morning the dream turned out to be a reality.

"Sit down and eat, before going to work you should fill your stomach so you don't get too hungry." Robot Victor said as he pulled out his chair, asking the girl to sit down.

Berliana could only sit according to what Victor asked, even though she had no intention of eating breakfast but she was curious about the menu that Victor would give her.

"I want to cook some food from outside, you like these foods the most. Eat it while it's still warm, you can enjoy it alone because I also cook according to your portion and taste."

Berliana looked at Victor's face in front of her and sighed softly. "You also know this is my favorite food from Victor's memories entering you?"

The robot Victor nodded and smiled softly. "You should know that I always understand whatever you want even though our relationship has been bickering for a few days and even always bickering. But that doesn't mean I'm someone who doesn't care about you, I'm not someone who is difficult to make you happy but there are some things that can't be given immediately because everything takes time."

Berliana was silent with her eyes glazed over. She remembered everything Victor had said in the past, just as the robot Victor had said today. They used to be lovers in the sense that they did not always get good memories and relationships because there were some times they were more concerned about desires than feelings.

Victor who was a mature, soulful and open man of course never felt anything from her. But because Berliana accidentally made his destiny what it is now, they ended up parting with death and Berliana could only look on from her face.

"As long as it doesn't have to be discussed first thing in the morning, we should live life first because it's much more important. Eat and enjoy your morning first if you continue your work and look for me. I'm in the storage room if there's nothing to do so if there's no need because I know you just want to worry about me."

Berlianata said nothing more and started eating her food. Today there was a lot of work so she had to take care of all the work first and then talk about what happened and how Victor's robot could have memories of the dead Victor.

Holding back his tears that occasionally fell, the vector looked at how the diamond was eating while contemplating. Like something difficult to penetrate and I know a place that is easy to penetrate, he also still doesn't believe all of this is appropriate because it makes little sense.

"I'm ready, I'm leaving for work." Wiping away her tears, Berliana stared at the robot Victor's face with a serious gaze for a few moments but then she left the house quickly without another word.

She still couldn't believe what she had seen and now everything really seemed so impossible and strange. How could someone who was already dead infiltrate a robot? He had heard the term of someone going into a trance but not like this, how could a ghost also resemble another person because it was different. In the world of science you don't have to believe in demons either, I don't believe a robot could be entered by a demon or even just Victor's memories flying there. What does that have to do with Victor? He's a robot who doesn't remember much and doesn't have any powers or advantages.

Meanwhile, Victor knew that Berliana wasn't at ease with what he was doing. After all, Berliana was a normal human being and he was just a robot. There was certainly an inner struggle as Victor tried to be just as human as she was.

"After this you'll also get used to it, I'll be your friend and you won't be able to resist."

Berliana selected several people who had been recruited by the government. She was the selector, as well as the one who would be training them.

"This is not a difficult task, I will accept all the tasks."

The government representative smiled, he was also a supervisor who would accompany and assist Berliana who would take care of all the issues regarding this project.

"Your face looks tired, is it not well rested?" he asked as he offered her coffee.

"I'm well rested," Berliana smiled back. "I just had a little thought, nothing."

"Hmm, all right. Don't be too pushy about anything, Miss is someone who is great in the world of advanced technology. If you push too hard and make her feel tired, it will have a bad effect on the work."

Berliana smiled and nodded, she knew that was true. However, she felt she knew that what she was thinking was not really a different person.

The Victor she had hoped for was different, she was afraid of the robot who was a pushover. What could he do to make him more compliant?

"Hmm, I don't have any intentions but how can he do that? If only he had remained the Victor that I thought he was, I wouldn't be scared like this either. But he is a dominant person, I could get trapped and fall under his influence. There really are robots that control humans, is Victor one of them?"

Berliana was scared, but she knew that she couldn't hold back any secrets either. She knew that now the problem was about what she was not used to, it was still unusual to face a robot who acted like someone she knew well.

"These can all be taken and hired." Berliana said as she handed over a document listing the people who would be working with her. "Just take them straight to the building where they'll be working. There are several hundred pairs of robot frames ready, and they will be assembled together with them. So, get organized, I'll come there too after checking a few things here."

The government representative nodded and walked away, while Berliana seemed to sigh softly and nodded.

"It's okay, deal with it first. Things might not be as bad as I think. Everything will be fine."
