Chapter 9

Berliana looked at the CCTV on her tablet, she found that someone had entered the room where she was researching and making basic materials and systems for human robots. Even though the room had been given to her by the head of the organization and the office, but how could someone still manage to get the key to the camel using what means.

"Even though I have also changed the password and also the key is only with me. How could he still manage to get inside? No, it's not Jeff, it must be his men. This guy never stops rioting, like someone who's never satisfied with what he's got." Berliana snorted softly and saved the video.

Knowing that in a few minutes the video would be lost, Berliana quickly saved it first so that there would be no similar system errors as those humans had planned. She knew things were not okay and not normal, so she had to play it smart against them.

"If Jeff has the ability to do that, then he can do it every day and will always do it. He won't stop until someone manages to bring him down and the people in the office are all people who are afraid of him. Just because he was a relative of the mayor, he still could not commit a crime and be excused. He knows that he can definitely get everything, so I will make him unable to get what he wants."

Turning on a video from the other camera, Berliana could clearly see that the man who had been ordered by Jeff had already started doing something intending to find out the whereabouts of the system he had hidden. The man could be seen talking to the device's sister and the storage vault, looking for something and then smiling as he found something he might be looking for.

Berliana smiled softly as she watched him pick up an object in the box, but then she turned off the video and opened another one and saw clearly where the man had gone after exiting the room.

"I didn't even have to guess that you were Jeff's quarry. He asked you to find and steal what I was working on for the government. For you to destroy a government project like this, I can clearly see that the Stennys don't seem like a family that is sincere about helping the government. You've only risen for a moment, and even then it's because you're helping the government otherwise you probably wouldn't have been seen as having bad intentions in the first place.

"This country has no shortage of smart and honest people, it just doesn't know that you guys want to have such bad intentions. If the government finds out maybe in just 1 hour you can be thrown out without anyone holding you back. I can even do it now but because my intention is to create a robot. Not to bring him down, but I need to quickly create a robot settlement that can get Victor out of this house and can also become my partner."

It was something she had been hoping for for years, so Berliana couldn't possibly mix it up with anything else, let alone just wanting to bring Jeff and his family down. For now, she had no intention of doing that, only later if he turned out to be looking for trouble with her.

"I'll collect the evidence first, we'll see what happens in front of the government. You will never win even from me, because I will never give up on you either. No matter how long it takes, I won't let anyone intentionally bring me down."

Shutting down her laptop after getting all the evidence and videos, Berliana was at peace that she had saved them. She would only need to show it someday if Jeff and some of the people who were subordinate to him deliberately brought her down and intentionally humiliated her in front of anyone including the government.

Currently the main supporter of the project she was working on was the government, she didn't need to get the attention of others to keep developing all this. Only by maintaining the good name and trust of the government could she get what she wanted.

Lying on her bed, Berliana closed her eyes because she had gotten real and strong evidence. Then, she knew that what Jeff had done could never bring her down.

Morning came quickly and Berliana also quickly packed up. She wrote a few more words there and then moved out of the room. Entering the room with Victor's robot there, Berliana took something from the safe and looked at Victor's face in front of her.

"I'm leaving, I don't have time to be with you these days. You just wait, I'll finish it soon and take you out to see the beauty of this world."

Berliana stared at the robot's inactive facial hair, before finally walking out and leaving the house. As she left the house, Robot Victor seemed to be active and read her movements with just a glance. It was as if something was alive there, as if Victor's spirit had entered and became the robot's controller.

"I will also wait but if you don't accompany me I probably won't be able to if I don't see you for a day."

Berliana was seen arranging things with her colleagues and she looked serious because today as said they had to immediately prepare everything to make a presentation before the government at even the upcoming government representative.

Of course they couldn't disappoint, because all of this was already part of it and would be organized according to what was needed. Berliana, who didn't want things to fail, was the only one who would keep things moving until they became a reality.

"The wireless will be more visible because we will immerse the cables in the metal. The cables for sensor generation and activation will be made more carefully because in the future some robots will be created for slightly heavy work. We can't be careless or it will become a problem because for drugs that work harder we have to use harder robots too. So that in the future we don't waste the budget to make new robots. At least we can make a robot that can last for the next 10 years, which can save costs and time while making new developments."

The professors who were there, as well as the craftsmen who were going to make the departure from the steel and malleable iron mixture, were immediately disturbed by his words. They had to make everything neat and tidy immediately and could not be careless for this government program. If not they will get into big trouble and if there is a problem.

"Still dare to be here? And continue your project?"

Berliana turned her head towards the door and found Jeff coming in casually. That guy again, Berliana didn't know why he liked to find trouble here so much.

"If there's anything you need, you can tell me directly and don't bother me." Berliana said as she looked seriously at what she was doing.

"You're so confident you can do it," Jeff said with a face that looked so dismissive.

Berliana looked at him and then looked away again. "I don't know if you have dementia or something but I've told you that I have achievements and am recognized by the American state of research on artificial intelligence. How could you have forgotten, when every time you look for problems and every time you feel that I'm not someone capable, I will also keep saying it," Berliana said casually making Jeff chuckle softly.

It was just them because some of the professors were also doing research and testing a bit about the system they were going to use in another room.

It was because of this that Jeff was able to come say things to Berliana as if he was a smart person.

"Why tell you, of course the standards of our country and the American country are different how can you keep equating them every day? Do you know that our government even has a bit of an argument with America? It won't yield much results and of course the project you're working on won't be accepted by many people in this country because they're also more or less getting doctrine on the country's principles that have been going on for years. You are welcome here again after being gone for so many years also because you have the blood of this country otherwise you are just considered as returning trash." Jeff said making Berliana look at him.

"It's still much better that I came back full of achievements and was recognized by the world, compared to someone who deliberately helped the president for personal gain."

Jeff's face changed at that remark. Berliana could see it clearly but then the girl just smiled and went back to her work.

"I don't want to get into trouble with you. But if you want to get into trouble with me I'll take everything you do in stride. Do you know that I have a lot of things that can be the destroyer of what you're planning behind my back? I.can make it more and more, only then will I tell you that I won't mind until the end of it.

"At least so far, no one has dared to disturb your family, just because they claim to have contributed to the president. But you should know that I'm different from them, I'm an outspoken person and not every thing I can just put up with if it's too much for me. You should know that I will never let you get what you can't get. I just want to tell you one more thing, I'm not a child that you can play with and that you can bully. You should understand that I'm not someone who is so good that I would do something that is useless to me. I'm a person who likes to reciprocate so you have to understand who the person you're dealing with is and what their nature is so that it can help you later," Berliana said at length making Jeff take a breath.

He nodded then as if he understood what he had heard best. That made Berliana glance at him for a moment, seeing him contemplating but then turning back to her work.

Engaging Jeff would only be a waste of time and it would only make her waste time without adding or mining anything to what she was doing. After all, she would just continue to do better to show him that she was really capable and not just talk.

"Oh, Mr. Jeff is here? I happened to be looking for you to do some reviewing of the required files. The other hall chairman said that he could ask for your help as the other chairman so I need help quickly and can only ask you for help."

Berliana looked at him who immediately nodded and left, before finally smiling knowing that he was deliberately happy to escape from her.

"You shouldn't have to fight me over something like this. I would never do something that hurts other people's feelings but because you bothered me first I had to. Don't blame me, I'm also doing all this for your own good and for my goals and mission. I know people can change but if you don't change what you want, I'll never be able to endure all the insults and belittling looks you give me."

Berliana sighed softly, staring at her face reflected in the mirror before finally smiling. Fighting a man and not needing to use a lot of force and not needing to use harsh means because she had already found Jeff's weakness. All she had to do was wait for him to do what he wanted, while Berliana only had to gather a lot of evidence to make him unable to do anything.

Jeff didn't have much ability, he was here also because of his luck. If not then he wouldn't have gotten anything else either. So he could only make things go according to what he wanted.

"Don't let the enemy win, I can't underestimate the enemy's strength either. Be more careful to keep everything that is being defended."
