My First Magic Lesson

Tuesday comes and goes and suddenly I am sitting with Elau in our secret grove for magic lessons. “Okay try and touch this.” He opens his hand and a large blue orb emerges. “This magic is a little stronger than the enchantments so it should just disappear.” He says as I reach over and like the flowers it sinks into my fingertips and disappears.

“Is there a spell out there that does what I am doing?” I ask

“Not without saying an incantation.” He replies, “What does it feel like when the light sinks into your sink?”

“Nothing really, maybe the slightest tingle.”

“Well where does it go? Maybe you can push the energy out the same way.” His eyes urge me to try.

“Okay, um I guess I’ll try.” I hold my hand out and imagine the orb flying from my fingertips. I squeeze my eyes shut and try again. I open to look, and nothing. “This isn’t going to work. I don’t know anything about magic.”

“Hey, that’s why you have me.” He grabs my shoulder. “Don’t be discouraged. Magic takes years to learn and decades to master.”

“I know.” I mumble

“Okay, then try again.” He puts his arm around my shoulders. I reach out my hands and close my eyes. Trying to feel something, anything. And then I do, like an ache deep through my body. Moving directly around my spine, almost like it is hiding. I grab onto it with my mind and push it out of my back. Elau is thrown off of me and to the ground. I open my eyes and see him staring up to me with worried eyes.

“What? What was it?” I asked, looking around. He stands up still staring at me but almost past me, behind me.

“It’s a shadow hand.” Elau whispers, “I’ve never seen one in person. That’s a difficult spell.”

“Where is it?”

“It’s coming from your back. Uh, try and imagine it moving in front of you and grabbing a stone from the ground. I look down and see a flat gray stone. I imagine a hand moving from behind me and picking it up, and my imagination comes true. A large black shadow-like hand wraps in front of me and grabs the stone. I gasp and the hand dissipates.

“What was that?” I stutter grabbing at my back.

“I’ve heard of the shadow hand spell, but that is dark magic. No elf can do such a thing.” He moves closer to me and grabs my hand. “This means we are one step closer to figuring out the type of magic you can do.”

“Dark magic? Like someone from Tartarean would do?”

“I’ve never seen a hobbit do a spell like that.” He smiles, “So, since you aren’t green or disfigured, I’m thinking you are part witch.”

Elau and I continue, playing around with different spells to no avail, and as the sun goes down I can feel sleep calling to me.

“Okay, I think I’m done for the day. I need a bath and to snuggle up in my bed.” I start moving towards the exit and Elau grabs my wrist.

“Wait, before we go back. I need to tell you something.” He sounds stressed. I turn back to face him.

“Okay?”
“Well… I don’t really know how to….I guess… well, how would you feel if I were to marry?” He stutters, I squint my eyes at him confused.

“What do you mean?” I question his odd statement.

‘I mean that if sometime in the future I end up getting married. What would be your opinion?” He still isn't fully making sense.

“If you are happy and that is what you want then I would be happy for you.” I reply and he almost looks saddened by the answer. “But of course you don’t even have a girlfriend so when that time comes let’s talk about it then.” I smile at him and grab his hand. “Let’s go” I start dragging him back to the castle. We part ways at the entrance, and Elau leaves still looking saddened by my answer. I begin to walk to my chambers and think about what he asked. I mean of course I would be upset if he was getting married, but as his friend, I’m not going to tell him that. Besides, it's not like he is getting married anytime soon. I still have time to figure out how I feel and how he feels. I don’t want to make any rash moves. My thoughts move to move intimate items. I imagine what it would feel like to press my lips to his, feel his chest pressing against mine, tangling my hands in his hair as he moans my name…

“Stop it, Nic.” I quiet my brain. I’m 80% sure I am human and will only be around for another 70-80 years. There is no way he would waste his time loving me when he will be living for 1000s of years. I get back to my room and feel the release of being home.

I untangle my corset and slip out of my dress. Then make my way into my personal hot spring. The water is warm, and I find my imagination slipping away again. I picture Elau laying with me in bed, stroking my hair, kissing my arms, my shoulders, my legs, until his mouth slides a little higher.
I slip my hand into the water, stroking myself in secret. In my head, Elau removes my robe and begins sucking on my breasts. I moan, I am not sure if it was in my head or if I let the sound slip out. I move my fingers from my clit and slip them inside searching for the right spot and I am greeted with an immense feeling of pleasure. I slip my fingers in and out, quickening the pace till the pleasure expands to my legs, my abdomen, my chest, until finally it feels like an explosion inside of me. I remove my hand and lean my arms onto the edge of the hot spring, panting away my orgasm.
