Princess Laura didn't know where to start from. There was a whole lot to say and tell about the werewolf mating. She had heard her father discuss topics about mating over the years and it was one of the most senstive and secretive things of the werewolf kingdom.
Mating was spoken about before outsiders. It was one of the scared firm of werewolves and wasn't meant for outsiders. It was strictly for werewolves.
The only reason she had agreed to tell the prince all that she knew was because he was getting married to her and that meant he had to learn about the werewolves customs and how things work since they were from different kingdoms.
Just as she was about to start, the prince asked. "Can werewolves mate in wolf form?"
"They can but with other supernaturals it's impossible." She answered.
The prince nodded and asked next, "how does the marking work?" He had read this the mating book but he needed to sure she wasn't telling him the wrong information.
"The male werewolf bites the place between the neck and shoulder. A special mark flashes and stayed permanently because they become soulmates when the marking is carried out."
The prince nodded. "What other things do you know about the mating?"
The princess explained all that she knew. The prince had also gotten some of the information from the book. He had read all the parts still in the book but he vaguely understand somethings and didn't understand some.
All the parts of the book that were missing had to do with the hybrid. The prince had checked other books and all the parts that had anything about hybrids were missing. He had gotten from the library kepper before he left the kayaan kingdom and the keeper had made known to him that all the parts of the hybrids had been torn off to prevent the existence of hybrids.
"Have you ever had to witness two different supernaturals mating?"
Princess Laura had heard her father and Banks speak about it once but she couldn't grasp the concept there was only one thing she knew and it was the marking. She had only heard of how to get the wolf's marked by other supernaturals. "I really don't know about that but I know about the marking."
"The marking?" The prince blurted out. This was an important information he needed to know. It was important for him to have this.
The princess nodded. " Other supernaturals will mark his mate by smelling the female wolf's genitals. She will produce sex hormones that he will be able to smell when ready to breed."
This was all he needed to know.

Prince Nicholas pulled his golf club into the air and fired the golf ball by giving a powerful strike with his golf club . The small ball flew into the air and he watched as the ball bounced towards the hole. "Yes!" He shouted when his ball made it's way into the hole.
Gaston stretched his legs and pulled his golf block just a little in thirty degrees then he gave the ball a small shot with his golf ball. He muttered, "shit!" When. The ball moved to a completely different direction.
"You still haven't gotten the hang of it." The prince laughed taking a sip from his water bottle. The two had learnt the sport when the were much younger but some how Gaston never got it. He hated the sport or sports in general but he was good in tennis.
Gaston threw the golf club to the floor ànd scoffed. "Golf is just a stupid sport."
"It's not just golf Gaston, you are horrible in all sports." The prince chuckled.
"I insist, your majesty. It's golf."
"I'll say I believe you but I need you to know that's a lie."
Gaston laughed. This was one of the ways they spent their times resting. Golf was thoer go to sport when they need to unwind. He was bad at it but he enjoyed playing with the prince. They were able to have heart to heart conversation while playing.
"What do you think about my marriage to princess Laura?"
"What do you think about your marriage to princess Laura?" Gaston directed back at his master.
The prince huffed. "I'm in love with someone else."
Gaston's eyes widened but quickly he got back his composure and picked his golf club from the floor. "Who is it? Do I know who she is?"
"She's not from here. " The prince breathed out. "She's from another kingdom."
"Wow." Gaston too another ball and placed it carefully on the floor. He directed his hands to air, holding unto the golf club tightly. "That's good to hear but I doubt your father will like to hear such news "
The thought of telling his father didn't cross prince Nicholas's mind. He knew his father was outrightly going to refuse to whatever he had with whomever he claimed to love and so he didn't bother mentioning it. There was nothing they could do as the treaty had already been signed. What was holding them off was the werewolf's king blindness.
The prince smiled when Lily crossed his mind. He always remembered her whenever he saw the lavender bush in the garden. It was a high reminder of her. He had bearly stayed two weeks without her and it was driving him crazy.
Every time he opened up his plans it was impossible not to think of the stubborn commander. His thoughts were always drifting to her and everything about his entire day reminded him of her existence. He always remembered that there was a kayaans that was out there he was in love with.
"You know I can't tell father that. He's going to hate me."
"Or you'd spend your entire life in the dungeon. " Gaston said and they both laughed. "Gaston fired the ball and it failed miserably. "at least, I was close this time."
"I got more information about the hybrid." The prince announced in a whisper. "Big information."
The frown on Gaston's face prompted the prince to speak further. "I've been doiy my research and we're closer than we think to achieving our plans."
"How?" Gaston arched an eyebrow.
"Princess Laura knows a few things about the mating. She wasn't as stupid as I thought."
"Really?" Gaston took another ball and set on the floor for him to have the ball hit by his golf club. They were far away in the garden enjoying the night.
"We just need a strategic plan." Prince Nicholas told Gaston.
Gaston nodded. He took his golf club high up in the air and fired the ball. The watched as the ball made it's way every where around the palace and then their mouths widen when they saw the ball shatter the glass of a building.
Hurriedly, they dropped the golf club and ran as fast as possible despite hearing screams coming from the window they had broken.

Princess Laura gave the door a hard knock and walked into her father's study. She was surprised to see the vampire king, Elaine, prince Nicholas and her father. They were all seated like they had an important information to tell her. She made eye contact with Elaine but the old wolf only shrugged.
Elaine was just as clueless as the princess. She was called from the kitchen to the king's study for am important discussion.
The prince was seated before the wolf king's desk. He was sitting on the only seat in from of king Francis desk. King Francis was seated in his chair across the prince and the vampire king was standing next to the wolf king.
"Father, you sent for me." She announced her presence to her father. He was in his chair, eyes not moving in a particular directon.
"King Francis and I have made an important decision concerning your marriage." king Eric started. "It's been over a month since you both have met and have gotten to know each other."
"We believe you both are aware that you would be getting married and have taken time out to study yourselves and develop a coping mechanism for when you both would get married." This came from king Francis. "After signing the treaty, which brought the kingdom together months ago. We believe it's time for you both to tie the knots."
"Laura and Nicholas will be getting married in three days." King Eric finished off.
Prince Nicholas felt his heart fall to his stomach. The news made his head bang and his stomach ache. It was a big blow to his face having to heart that the wedding was happening sooner than he thought and wanted.
Princess Laura had a high smile plastered on her face on hearing the news. It had to be the best news she had heard in a while and she was ready. After the meeting, she was definitely going to the seamstress's to have her wedding dress ready to be made.
