"I heard that master's warehouse was burnt last night" Antoinette said to Adena and she scoffed.

"Serves him right.. he deserves every pain he must be feeling right now" Adena answered, she had developed an intense hatred for Logan and wished to see his downfall.

Antoinette sighed.

She had come to give Adena some food and also offered to braid Adena's big red hair.

"You know, he wasn't always this cruel. Back when we were kids, he used to be such a sweet boy, but I don't know what made him to change.." Antoinette said.

"Still doesn't give him the right to treat anyone the way he does" Adena maintained.

"You're right.. it doesn't". Antoinette continued braiding Adena's hair and they talked about other things.

💢 9:00am 💢

Camilla entered her car with two men, they were assigned to her to guard her by her brother, Tyson. They were heading to the office that morning when they were cornered by a black jeep.

"Get down!!" The men in mask yelled, firing gunshots into the air. Camilla and her unarmed bodyguards got down from their car. The goons beat up the guards mercilessly before forcefully taking Camilla with them.

"Please don't hurt me.. please" she cried, scared for her life. They yelled at her to keep quiet and forced her into the jeep before driving away.

"What?!!" Tyson jerked up from his chair. He stared at the two wounded bodyguards he had assigned to take care of his sister.

"Where is my sister? Where is Camilla?!!" He yelled at them, fuming.

"We are sorry sir.. they were heavily armed, we couldn't stop them from taking miss Camilla" one of the guards answered, lowering his head.

"You fools!!!" Tyson cried out.

Camilla was his only family, she was all he had, ever since the death of his parents. He loved her beyond words, and would give his life for her. Tyson knew exactly who had kidnapped his sister, and he wasted no time before calling him.

📞 "Logan! How dare you? How dare you touch my sister!?"

📞 "You haven't seen anything just yet! I only have your sister, by the time I'm done with you, you'll have absolutely nothing left"

📞 "You'll never get away with this! Release my sister immediately"

📞 "If you surrender everything you own to me, I'll let her go"

📞 "Never"

📞 "Fine then. I think your sister will make a sweet s3x toy"

📞 "Logan!! Don't even think about that! Logan!!"

Logan had already hung up. Tyson threw the phone at the wall in anger and it shattered to pieces. He groaned loudly, feeling intense hatred and anger. He wouldn't let Logan win this time, he wouldn't let that monst*r touch his sister. He was going to retaliate.

"Logan.. I don't think it's a good idea to involve Camilla in this. Tyson is the one who burnt your warehouse" Damon said, he felt sorry for Camilla. He couldn't bear to see her tied up and tortured. He had feelings for her.

"Are you serious Damon?" Logan asked. He was surprised because Damon had never taken the side of his enemy before.

"What has come over you? That woman is the sister to Tyson. Isn't it obvious they're working together? Look Damon, don't upset me, just be ready for anything because that Tyson is stubborn. He'll try to do something stupid" Logan said and left.

Damon was put in charge of looking after Camilla. She had been placed in one of the rooms inside Logan's compound. It wasn't in the main house, just opposite it.

Damon felt bad everytime he looked at her, she was always crying, he wished he could help her, but he didn't want to betray his friend.. and boss.

💢 6:18pm 💢

Logan was in the living room with some of his men, including Damon, discussing their next line of action, when suddenly, gunshots were heard outside. The windows were shot at and the glasses shattered.

"Get down!" Logan screamed and they all scrambled for safety. Logan ran upstairs to his room and went to balcony to see what was causing all the commotion. He saw Tyson with his men, they were many.

They continued to shoot until Tyson sighted Logan.

"Hold your fire!!" He told his men and they stopped shooting.

"Release my sister to me immediately! Or you'll lose your life. I'll set this house ablaze as well!" Tyson yelled.

"I'm ready for you! I will never ever accept defeat!" Logan yelled back and ran downstairs. He already had armed men, he gave the order and a gun fight ensued. Logan's men were shooting and Tyson's men were also shooting.

Bullets were flying into the mansion, Adena, Antoinette and Liliana were lying flat in Adena's room. Liliana had a blood pressure problem, she was so scared and her blood pressure was high. Antoinette was crying, seeing how uneasy her mother had become.

"Adena! What do we do? Mother is dying!" She cried.

"We have to get to a safe place first. The bullets might hit us if we stay here any longer" Adena said. She crawled over to where Liliana was sitting on the floor and held her hand.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine" she said. Liliana only nodded, she was finding it hard to breathe.

"Antoinette, help me, let's take her to the basement" she said.

They were crawling on the floor, to avoid stray bullets, and they managed to pull Liliana along with them. Antoinette pointed the way to the basement and they hurried towards it.

Thankfully, they made it to the basement safely but the gun fight didn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

"We have to stabilize her.." Adena said.

"Her medicines are up in the room" Antoinette replied.

"I remember something.. when I was still at the boarding school, miss Hannah used an orthodox method to stabilize a girl who had high blood pressure. I hope it works" Adena said.

"Lie down ma" she said to Liliana. Adena helped her to lie flat on her back. Antoinette held her hand, crying.

"Mom please be strong" she said.

"Stop crying Antoinette, you'll only make the situation worse" Adena cautioned.

"Now ma, breathe at my pace.. do what I do" she instructed.

"Take one deep breath" Adena took a very long, deep breath and Liliana followed.

"Now breathe out" she breathed out and Liliana did the same.

"Great, now keep doing that.." she said and Liliana continued to breathe in and out.

"Antoinette, you stay with her. I'll go get her drugs and be back as soon as I can" Adena said.

"Please be careful" Antoinette answered.

Adena took off immediately, making sure to stay low to avoid bullets. She entered Liliana's room and dug around for a while before finally finding the medicines. She rushed back to the basement and gave it to Liliana. The blood pressure calmed down a bit.. Adena was relieved.

"You better give up now and give my sister back!!" Tyson yelled, firing a shot at Logan but he dodged it perfectly.

"You should have known better than to burn my warehouse! I won't stop until I ruin you!" Logan yelled and shot at him but missed.

There was no doubt that Logan was winning the gun fight, he had more men and was more powerful, but Tyson was proving stubborn.

Damon was with Camilla, he had rushed to keep her safe when the gun fight ensued.

"Damon, I beg you, please let me go. Please" Camilla cried. Damon couldn't bring himself to look at her.

"You love me right? You said you did. Please don't let your friend do this to me. Would you like it if he turned me into his pleasure toy?" Camilla sniffed. She had heard stories about how Logan treated s3x slaves. She was scared to death.

"Camilla.. if I help you, I'd be betraying my best friend" Damon said. He looked at her and saw her pitiful condition. She was crying and pleading. He couldn't help it.

"Don't do this Camilla. You're going to implicate me" he sighed.

"Please Damon.. help me" she cried.

Damon was unable to figure out what was happening to him. He has never felt the way he felt right at that moment. It was an intense feeling.. could he actually be falling for Camilla?

"Get up.." he said. Camilla rose from the floor and hugged him tight, thanking him. He felt warm.

"Come on" he took her hand and they went through the back gate. The guards that usually stayed at the back gate were helping Logan to fight so it was empty. Damon was the only one who had the key to the gigantic iron gate so he opened it for Camilla.

Camilla thanked Damon again before leaving. She came out through the back gate and ran to the front to meet his brother.

"Camilla!" Tyson exclaimed when he saw her. Logan stopped shooting and stood in awe.

"How did she..?" He paused and fumed. If one could see the heart, his would be flaming..

"No!!" He stormed into the house in anger.

Damon had already fled through the back gate as well, he couldn't stand to see Logan.. he might kill him.



"Damon!! Damon!! For f*ck's sake, where's that backstabbing f0ol!!!!" Logan raged, bursting down the doors to every room he came across. He relentlessly searched for Damon, in the whole compound, but couldn't find him.

"Buster!! Go and find Damon and bring him here this instant!!" He roared at his chief guard who took off with a bunch of other bodyguards.. by this time, Tyson and his men had left because they had managed to get Camilla back.

"That ingrate had the guts to betray me! After all I've done for him.. I saved his f*cking a$s from ruin!!" Logan punched the wall in fury.

He didn't want to admit it, but he was very hurt.. the one person he trusted blindly, had ended up betraying him.. Damon took the side of his enemy.

"If I f*cking find that ba$tard, I'm going to blow his f*cking head off!!" He roared and hit the wall one more time.

"Logan" he turned and saw Liliana.

"Ma.. are you alright?" He asked her. Though, he didn't listen to most of her opinions anymore, he still cared a lot about her. He was afraid that a bullet must have touched her.

"I'm so sorry about the guns and everything.. but I had to.. that idiot Tyson.. he made me do it" Logan seemed to be panting very heavily and sweating as much.

Liliana saw fear and hurt in his eyes. He was hurt by Damon's actions.

"I'm fine, all thanks to Adena" Liliana answered.

"Adena?" He asked, wiping off the sweat on his forehead.

"Yes, she saved my life" Liliana answered again.

"I'm grateful she did" Logan was still panting heavily.

"Logan.. please sit down and calm down. Please you don't look so good" Liliana said, leading him to his bed but he gently pushed her hands away.

"No! I won't rest until I find that backstabbing motherf*cker and k!ll him!" Logan thundered and stormed off.

He met Adena in her room with Antoinette. He stopped and they both got to their feet in fear.

"Did any of you see Damon leaving?" He asked.

"No master" Antoinette answered.

"Get out" he ordered her and she left, leaving only Adena. She became scared. She knew he would take out his frustration on her as usual. She was ready for anything.

Logan moved closer to Adena and she stood there, shivering with her neck bent. Tears were already streaming down her cheeks. Logan grabbed her by the hair and yanked her head back.. she yelped.

"Trust no one.." he whispered before throwing her across the room.. she fell and cried.

Logan was approaching her in anger again but he stopped and held his head with both his hands.

He had been stressed to the limit.. his head was aching badly. He got a migraine and fell down, groaning.

"Ahhh.." he groaned. His entire body began to shake like it did when he was having the nightmare.

Adena stood and watched in awe, she was afraid he would die but she didn't want to help him either.

At a point, she moved closer to him and tried to help him up.

"Don't.. don't! Don't touch me!" Logan didn't want to be weak in front of his slave. He got up, staggering from one place to another..

"I'm going to k!ll him" he murmured, and staggered out of the room..

Adena couldn't help but follow him. Ordinarily, she didn't care if he died or lived, but she was drawn to follow him.

Logan entered his room and fell into the bed. He screamed and winced in pain. This particular seizure was one of the most painful he had ever had. And it was Damon's fault.

Adena asked Antoinette for some cold water and a rag, she went in to see Logan with it.

"Shall I call my mother to do it?" Antoinette asked.

"No, let her rest. She's not feeling well. You can go and look after her" Adena answered.

He had already passed out by the time she came in. She stared at him for a moment, with tears in her eyes.

"I hate you.." she sniffed.

"But I can't seem to let you d!e" she added.

She dabbed the rag in the cold water and gently wiped his face with it. She continued to do it until his temperature returned to normal.

"What do you think you're doing?" Delaney walked in on Adena with Logan and completely freaked out. She had been in hiding since the gun fight started.

"Get up and get out" she ordered and Adena obeyed. She was disgusted by her own actions. How could she take care of the same man who had put her through so much pain?

Delaney took credit for taking care of Logan.. but she was disturbed by Adena's presence.

💢 Damon's House 💢

"Where are we going uncle?" Zoey asked, watching Damon pack their bags in a haste.

"There's no time to explain dear.. just help me carry these to the car and I'll bring the rest" Damon answered, handling her two bags. Zoey obeyed immediately.

Damon couldn't bear to stay back.. he was ashamed of what he did to his best friend. He had crushed the trust Logan had for him and he regretted it.

He did it because he fell in love, but Logan would never understand.

He hurriedly packed some important stuff and locked his house before driving away with Zoey.

Buster and the other men came to Damon's house but they missed him because he had already driven away.

They searched the entire house and even the neighbors houses but couldn't find him. They had to go back to Logan and inform him.

Damon left for the neighbouring city, where he hoped to start everything afresh. But the guilt of betraying his best friend would haunt him forever. He had lost on both ends.. he lost Camilla, and he lost Logan.

But he was glad that he was able to do something out of love.

💢 Logan's Mansion 💢

Logan was furious when he learnt that Damon had gotten away. But he swore to fish him out wherever he was hiding and make him pay.

He sat on his bed, thinking, when Delaney entered with a hot cup of coffee. She handed it to him and stood beside him.

"How are you feeling now?" She asked, smiling broadly.

"Delaney, I'd like to be alone" was Logan's reply.

"Oh.. okay. But I'm here if you need anything" she said before walking out.

She was on her way to her room when she caught a glimpse of Adena in her own room. Adena was combing her long red hair in front of the small mirror, with her door slightly open.

Delaney went in to talk to her.

"What was the meaning of what you did earlier?" She asked, startling Adena.

"My lady.. I'm sorry I didn't see you come in" Adena said, getting to her feet.

"I asked you a question slave! What were you doing in Logan's room? You were attending to him, what gives you the right to do that?" Delaney asked.

She was extremely jealous, she knew there was something going on between those two, something she can't explain.

"I am his fiancee, we are getting soon and I am the only one who has the right to go close to him like that!" She continued.

"I'm sorry my lady" Adena was pissed off. She thought Delaney was a desperate b*tch. Adena has always been a rebel, if you step on her toes too much.

The only reason she hasn't done anything to Logan, was because he was rightfully her master.

"Sorry for your sorry self! Stay away from my man.. you filthy slave" Delaney said. Adena couldn't take it anymore.

"And why would I want anything to do with your man? Oh.. sorry" she paused and chuckled.

"I meant, your m0nster! Because that's all he is. Why are you so insecure? Is it because I'm prettier than you? Is it because Logan enjoys banging me more that he'll ever fancy your rotten p∆ssy?" She smirked.

Delaney raised her hand to slap Adena but she held her hand sharply.

"As far as I'm concerned, you're not better off than me, you're also an object of pleasure to Logan because he only uses you to satisfy his urge. So before you come in here and threaten me, make sure of your worth!" Adena said in anger and threw Delaney's hand away
Delaney was shocked.. Adena wasn't wrong at all.

"I'm going to tell Logan what you just did, and you'll regret it" she said.

"I dare you.. he wouldn't even listen to you" Adena laughed. Delaney walked out with tears in her eyes.

Adena was right, Logan won't listen, he never listens to her. She had to become his wife at all costs, and do away with the little witch.. Adena.



Logan stared at the blank pistol in his hand and fumed. He never thought for once, that he would use it on the very person he trusted the most. He groaned and tucked it inside the pocket in his jacket.

He left immediately with Buster and some other men. Logan had made it a mission to track down and kill two of his enemies, Damon and Tyson. He wasn't going to spare any of them. They had each hurt him in different ways, and they would pay for it.

Logan arrived in New Jersey with his men and they searched tirelessly for Damon. Logan knew that Damon had no other place to run to, he would only come to New Jersey where Damon's father had a penthouse.

But he had no idea where the penthouse was, so he resorted to searching every nook and cranny.

"Master.. the search has been unsuccessful, I'm afraid. It's already mid day" Buster reported after hours of fruitless searching.

"I don't care how long it will take, whether days or weeks. I just want that backstabber to be found and brought to me" Logan growled.

They were lodged at a hotel, Logan made up his mind to stay there until he finds Damon.

"Yes master" Buster gave a little bow before leaving.

Logan decided to go into the mall to get some wine. He was addicted to drunk wine and he was craving it. So he went into the mall and bought a few bottles for himself.

On his way to the parking lot, he caught glimpse of the man he has been looking for. Damon was with Zoey, it looked like they had also come to get a few stuff for themselves.

Logan was even angrier.. he dumped the wine bottles in his car and walked up to them. Damon was shocked to see him.

"You.." Logan growled dangerously.

"Logan.. I.. please hear me out" Damon shivered. He was surprised that Logan had come all this way just to look for him.

"I trusted you.. I shared things with you, things I could never share with anyone else, yet you betrayed me" Logan continue to seethe.

Damon was short of words.. how could he explain to Logan that he did all that because of love? Logan has never understood what it meant to be in love, he would never listen to him.

"I'm sorry.. I am" was all Damon managed to say.

"Sorry?" Logan scoffed.

"You'll be sorry, after I blow your head off" Logan said and pulled out his gun, pointing it at his head.

"No!" Zoey screamed, Damon froze at the spot. He couldn't believe it was his best friend.. doing that to him.

"Uncle Logan.. please.. please don't kill my uncle" Zoey began to cry.

"No Zoey, let him shoot me" Damon said to Zoey.

He looked Logan right in his eyes, very intensely.

"Go ahead and shoot me Logan. Because I saved a woman I love" he said.

"You betrayed me" Logan said.

"Camilla was innocent. She wasn't aware of her brother's plans! I had to save her life, I was in love with her.. I still am" Damon fought back his tears.. he was a man afterall.

"Shoot me then! If you can! I'm tired of running from you. I knew you would find me sooner or later. You always have your ways. You came all the way from New York to find me and k!ll me. So go ahead and do it" Damon was challenging Logan.

"If you can raise a gun at your best friend, then you're really the monster they say you are".

Logan groaned and was forced to bring down his gun. He tried.. he tried to shoot him, but he couldn't.

"You're the bad friend here Damon! Don't make it look as if I did you any wrong. You helped my enemy and now they mock me" Logan said.

"Then why didn't you shoot me?" Damon asked.

"You have feelings don't you?"

"Shut the f*ck up! I don't have feelings and I don't have a f*cking heart!!" Logan yelled.

"I never pity anybody. You will pay for what you did" he said. He lifted the gun again and this time, he did pull the trigger.

"Uncle Damon!!!" Zoey screamed when the shot was fired. There was chaos in the parking lot, everyone began to run when they heard the gun shot. Logan stared at Damon who was bleeding on the floor. He was shot on the shoulder.

"You shouldn't have betrayed me" he said and walked to his car. He drove off without looking back.

"Uncle.." Zoey sobbed.

Damon groaned in pains, he couldn't believe Logan actually shot him.

💢 Tyson's Residence 💢

"Where are you off to in such a hurry?" Tyson asked his sister who looked very perturbed. She was rushing out of the living room when Tyson caught her.

"I just heard on the news that Damon had been rushed to the hospital after getting shot." Camilla narrated.

"So? Tyson asked.

"Brother, Damon saved me.. I could at least pay him a visit at the hospital and.." Camilla didn't finish her statement when Tyson interrupted.

"And what!? Camilla!! Damon is still our enemy. Listen very carefully, you are never to step out of this house to see that man" Tyson warned sternly.

"But Tyson!"

"Camilla! That is an order.. don't dare me" he glared at her before going back upstairs.

Camilla didn't know when she started shedding tears. She really wanted to see Damon, he was in this whole mess because of her. He risked everything to save her. She was attracted to him as well.

Camilla waited until it was night, when everyone had gone to sleep, including Tyson. Then she snuck out of the house, wrapped in a blanket. She took some clothes with her, she wasn't planning to return to her brother anytime soon.

Camilla boarded a night train that took her to New Jersey. Then she went to the hospital to look for Damon.

💢 At the hospital 💢

"Damon" Camilla called as she opened the door to Damon's ward. A nurse had directed her to the ward from the reception and she rushed there as fast as she could.

"Camilla?" Damon lifted his head to behold the beauty standing in front of him. He thought he was dreaming, he never believed he would see her again.

"Damon!" She rushed to him with tears in her eyes and embraced him warmly. Damon winced when she touched his wounded shoulder.

"Oh I'm sorry" Camilla broke the hug.

"It's okay. Please talk softly.. I don't want Zoey to wake" he said, pointing to Zoey who was sleeping on the couch.

"How are you? What are you doing here? Your brother let you come?" Damon asked, excited.

"No, I had to sneak out. I owe you for saving me. I had to come and see you" Camilla answered, tearing up. Damon smiled softly.

"You don't owe me anything Camilla" he said, tucking a strand of falling hair behind her ear, she blushed.

"But I'm glad you are here".

"I hope your shoulder is healing well?" She asked.

"Yes.. and even better now that you're here" he was still flirting and Camilla giggled.

"You'll never change, will you?" She hit him playfully.

"I did the challenge.. I stayed one week without sleeping with any b*tch" Damon smirked.

"Can we talk now?"

"You're still doing that?" Camilla was surprised.

"That's how much I lo.." he paused.. he didn't want to be too direct. He didn't want to rush things.

"What?"

"It's nothing"

Camilla smiled.. she already knew.

💢 Logan's Mansion 💢

"He betrayed me because he was in love" Logan scoffed.

Liliana stood there and glared angrily at him. Antoinette and Adena were eavesdropping from outside the room.

"I never raised you to be so heartless Logan. I don't know what you have turned into. You shot Damon!" Liliana yelled.

"Damon is the only one who can stand your attitude, he's the only one who supports you, he loved you despite your ruthlessness, but you shot him!"

"No ma! He is the one at fault!"

"You have to accept your faults Logan! I have never told you this before but, you're heartless! For what you did to Damon, you're heartless!!" Liliana said in disgust.

Logan was moved.. his 'ma' had never called him names before.. never.

"Ma!"

"Don't call me. You're going to be all alone very soon, if you don't change your ways. Even I will leave you" she said and left immediately. Antoinette and Adena quickly followed her.

"I wonder what he'll do to me now. He'll probably release all his aggression on me" Adena thought as shivers ran down her spine.

Anastasia was also there when Logan said that Damon was in love. She was furious. She decided to go to New Jersey and make sure she destroys that love.

Damon would always belong to her- she thought. He had no right to love another woman.
