Chapter 14 Awake

ADAM
I groaned as the alarm clock started beeping, I quickly turned it off so Mirana can't awaken it's been a tiring night and she needs some sleep. And I am going to make her breakfast before she wakes up.
I placed a kiss on her forehead and she mumbled my name making my lips twitch to a smile.
"Ohhh sweetie you're dreaming of me?" I muttered and slowly got off the bed and grabbed the doorknob and headed to the kitchen.
I was going to get flour and eggs to cook pancakes when suddenly there was a knock at the door.
"Early visitor?" I ask myself as I place the flour and eggs in the table
I quickly run to the door and grip the doorknob asking who it could be.
One thing pops in my mind and it's Keiro.
"Keiro why are you not tel-" I was cut off by my word when I saw the person in my front and I went numb.
This is impossible.
"Hello sweetheart," the woman in front of me says.
"W-who are y-you?" I was stuttering.
"Ate?" a voice asks in my back and it was Mirana standing shocked at her place.
I'm confused about what's going on, I look at the woman in front of me then to Mirana then to her. I lost words to speak and I suddenly recovered.
"Mir?" I ask looking at Mirana who is holding her hands fidgeting and I know that she is nervous.
"Ohhhh so Marina didn't tell you this?" the woman next to me asks in a sarcastic tone and who's Marina? What the hell is going on!
"Marina?!" I ask again in a questioning look. I look at Mirana who is starting to cry.
"Don't cry!! Why are you crying! Explain!! And don't dare lie in my face Mirana!" I spat and she flinched, I scared her and I want to hug her but I want an answer.
"I can explain, I can tell you the truth and nothing but the truth" the woman next to me muttered as she steps inside and sits comfortably on the couch. I want to grab her arm and push her outside but I can't do that right now.
"The Mirana you know right now is not a Mirana, I am the true Mirana and she's the wicked Marina who fooled you all this time. Who pretended to be me just to get you from me because she is jealous of having you from me!" she shouted and looked at Mirana that is now Marina with furious eyes.
"No!! Mir please I'm begging you tell him the truth," her voice cracked and her tears running fast to her cheeks.
"That's the truth she even threatened me that if I will go with you she will kill me. She said that she loved you. She's nothing but a crazy bitch digger whore!" the woman who is now the Mirana spat.
I looked at Marina and her eyes were afraid and told her that it's not true. She walks in my direction and gets my hands. Her tears started to fall in my hands.
"Adam please don't listen to her, she's lying I pretended to be my sister just to cover her sin to you she and Marco got into a relationship and I should pretend to be her, that's why she sends me to you to tell you I should break up with you but I can't do it cause I love you since we were child. Please, Adam, I'm begging to trust me I'm telling you-" she was cut off by her words when a hand landed into her face caused her to outbalance herself and landed on the floor and I see the Mirana standing next to me with anger on her eyes.
"Way to act sister! You should practice your script to make it look truer," she shouted, I would have helped Marina to stand up for Mirana to stop me.
"Don't even touch that whore!" she mumbled.
I ignored his words and helped Marina get up despite the many questions that were running through my mind.
I held her hands and looked into her eyes were puffy and red as she looked at me.
"All this time it's all a lie?"I said in pain and I wish she's not going to say yes.
"Adam it's-" I cut her off and tightly grip her wrist.
"Yes or No!" I shouted at her and I felt her flinching and shaking. I don't want her to be scared of me and I didn't raise my voice ever. But now is different it's a fucking different and I'm pissed!
She didn't answer instead she cried and bowed her head. I can see that she's biting her lower lip hard. I grip her wrist and she winced in pain.
"Answer me," I muttered sternly.
"Y-yes," she answered, stuttering and continued to cry.
Slowly I took my grip on her and turned away from the house.
"Adam! Where do you think you're going huh?" Mirana ask following me
I didn't budge to answer her instead I slid in my car and started the engine.
She got in the car and was comfortable, I didn't have the strength to pull her out of the car and just let her go.

MARINA
I was left here dumbfounded. I felt my heart squirm in pain. I fell to my knees in pain and cried in tears.
She's here, Mirana's here, my twin, my sister. I can't believe she turned me down to Adam. My sister who never left me behind.
I can accept her insults from me but to look bad to someone else is very painful.
"That's the truth she even threatened me that if I will go with you she will kill me. She said that she loved you. She's nothing but a crazy bitch gold digger whore!"
My head keeps repeating and repeating those words which she told me about my heart squeezed with ache. My whole world flipped over in the betrayal of Mirana.
I cried and cried till there were no tears in my eyes, I couldn't help it, it felt that my heart had been ripped in two and stabbed with a knife, grinned in a machine and ripped from my heart.
I felt my body weak and my vision blurred and I could see dark spots in my vision and all went black.
