Chapter 53: The Three Finalist, Final Mission

The three finalists stood at the center of the hall: Marcelino, known to the others as John; Jack, whose flamboyant demeanor belied his ruthless ambition; and Marielle, a woman with a strong personality and unmatched expertise in pharmaceuticals and poisons. Each of them was surrounded by their family members, who watched with a mixture of pride and anxiety. The tension in the room was palpable.

At the far end of the hall, seated on a grand throne, was Manuel Innovation, the current head of the family. His presence alone was enough to command the respect and attention of everyone in the room. His sharp eyes surveyed the finalists, and a slight smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. The time had come to reveal the final mission.

“Today,” Manuel began, his voice echoing through the hall, “we stand on the precipice of history. One of you will soon take my place as the head of this family, and with that title comes the responsibility of leading not just the Innovation family, but the entire world. Your final mission will determine who among you is worthy of this position.”

The room fell silent as Manuel’s words hung in the air. The weight of what was at stake was not lost on anyone. The eyes of the three finalists were locked on Manuel, each of them eager to hear the details of the mission that would decide their fate.

Manuel’s gaze shifted to each finalist in turn, as if assessing their readiness. “This mission,” he continued, “will test not only your skills and intellect but also your ability to make the hard decisions that come with power. You will be sent to three different continents, where each of you will face a challenge designed specifically to push you to your limits.”

Jack’s eyes gleamed with excitement, his mind already racing with thoughts of victory. He had always known that he was destined for greatness, and this mission would be the final step in securing his place as the leader of the Innovation family. In his mind, he could already see himself sitting on that throne, with John by his side. His obsession with John was as much a part of his ambition as his desire for power. He had tried to claim John before, but his plans had been thwarted by that meddlesome secretary, Rose. This time, however, Jack was determined that nothing would stand in his way.

Marcelino, or John as he was known in the family, remained expressionless, though his mind was anything but calm. He had spent years preparing for this moment, honing his skills and perfecting his strategies. His thoughts drifted briefly to Angelic, the woman he loved but had been forced to betray. He knew that in order to succeed, he had to push all personal feelings aside. The mission required his full focus, and he was ready to do whatever it took to win.

Marielle, the third finalist, stood with her chin slightly raised, her eyes sharp and calculating. Unlike the others, she had built her reputation through her knowledge of pharmaceuticals and her ability to manipulate and poison with precision. She was not just a competitor; she was a deadly force to be reckoned with. Marielle’s confidence was unwavering, and she knew that her abilities made her a formidable candidate for the position of head of the Innovation family.

Manuel’s voice cut through their thoughts as he began to explain the mission. “Each of you will be given a target—an individual who poses a significant threat to our family’s interests. You will have two weeks to eliminate this target. But there’s a catch. Your target will be aware that you’re coming for them, and they will be prepared. This is not just a test of your ability to kill; it’s a test of your ability to outthink and outmaneuver an enemy who knows you’re coming.”

A murmur ran through the crowd of family members and elders. This was not just a simple assassination mission—it was a deadly game of cat and mouse, where the stakes were higher than ever. The finalists knew that the odds were stacked against them, but that only made the challenge more exhilarating.

Jack’s mind was already working overtime, considering the possibilities. He couldn’t wait to see the look on John’s face when he claimed victory. “You’ll be mine, John,” Jack thought to himself, his heart racing with anticipation. “Once I’m the head of this family, you’ll have no choice but to stay by my side. And anyone who tries to stop me will pay with their life.”

Marcelino’s thoughts were more focused, his mind a well-oiled machine as he processed the information. He knew that his target would be formidable, but he was confident in his abilities. His training had prepared him for this moment, and he had no intention of failing. He couldn’t afford to. The future of the Innovation family depended on it.

Marielle’s eyes narrowed slightly as she absorbed Manuel’s words. She had no intention of failing. Her reputation as a master of poisons and manipulation was well-earned, and she knew that her skills would give her the edge she needed. Her thoughts turned to the potential obstacles she might face, and she quickly began formulating strategies to eliminate any threats.

Manuel leaned back in his throne, his gaze sweeping over the three finalists. “Remember,” he said, his voice cold and authoritative, “failure is not an option. The one who succeeds will be hailed as the next head of the Innovation family, the most powerful person in the world. But the two who fail… will not be returning.”

The implication was clear. This was not just a mission—it was a battle for survival. The Innovation family did not tolerate weakness, and those who failed would pay the ultimate price.
The room was silent as Manuel’s words sunk in. The gravity of the situation was not lost on anyone. The three finalists exchanged brief, tense glances. They all knew what was at stake, and they all knew that only one of them would emerge victorious.

Jack could barely contain his excitement. His entire body was practically vibrating with energy. This was it—the moment he had been waiting for his entire life. “I’ll win,” he thought to himself, his mind filled with images of victory. “I’ll win, and then John will be mine forever.”

Marcelino remained stoic, his mind a fortress of focus and determination. He couldn’t afford to let emotions cloud his judgment. This mission was all that mattered, and he was ready to do whatever it took to succeed. His thoughts briefly flickered to Angelic, but he quickly pushed them aside. There was no room for distractions. Not now.

Marielle, ever the strategist, was already considering every angle, every possible scenario. She knew that this mission would require every ounce of her cunning and intelligence, and she was ready for the challenge. “I will win,” she thought to herself, her mind a steel trap of logic and precision. “I will win because I have to.”

Manuel nodded once, satisfied with the intensity in the eyes of the three finalists. “You have your mission,” he said, his voice final and commanding. “You have two weeks. Go and prove your worth.” Then Manuel gave the three of them a piece of enveloped that listed their mission. The three of them took it and they wanted to opened it when they will go alone or when they will comfortable and ready. Marielle and jack hoped that their mission would be easy as the same mission they had completed before.

With that, the meeting was over. The finalists were dismissed, and the grand hall slowly emptied as the family members and elders left to return to their respective homes. The three finalists remained for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts.

Jack was the first to leave, his eyes gleaming with determination and desire. “Just you wait, John,” he thought to himself, a wicked grin spreading across his face. “I’m going to win this, and then you’ll be mine. No one will stand in my way.” He was a double personality, sometimes Men but most of the time, a Gay heart. As of now he became more aggressive for the handsome men that he had caught his interest but after having a one-night stand and have sex with them through his power, strength and status, he forced them to submit to him but in the end, he would love and make him satisfied if he going to torture and even kill them. That was his brutal attitudes. All he wants is John, being rejected by John, is a biggest insults to him.

Marcelino left next; his expression unreadable. He had no time for games or distractions. The mission was all that mattered, and he was ready to do whatever it took to succeed. His mind was already racing with plans and strategies, each one more deadly than the last.

Marielle was the last to leave, her face a mask of calm determination. She knew that the path ahead would be dangerous, but she was ready. She had trained her entire life for this moment, and she was not about to let it slip through her fingers. “I will win,” she thought to herself, her mind a fortress of logic and precision. “I have to.”
