Arnold's pov

It's been two weeks after our honeymoon, and we are trying to adjust to the air in new York, I have not yet resumed the office, I and queeenie had not spoken about what I would be doing now but it seems I would be getting a bigger office judging from her personality ,I know she would not want me to continue working downstairs,I don't even know I'd she would allow me continue to work there.

These thoughts run through my head as I fix my tie ,I stare at my new suit ,I bet the mirror is envious ,I could feel my heart melt .

Honey are you ready ,queen's calls out ,I figured she had become a little bit soft after the other night ,it was bliss.

Yes I am ready ,I reply.

Mona is in the car we have to go now she says .

Yes I reply picking my watch from the bed and putting it on following her out of the house .

You look good she tells me ,I know I look good but I don't answer I because I feel good too about the complement and even from the clothes and perfume on me.

I flash a half smile and she puts her hands around my arm .

We walk to the black limo parked outside and I open the door for her and once she enters I join her .

The matte interior screams affluence, I relax and the limo moves steadily away from the mansion .

Queen's is focused on her phone while I am focused on the streets of new York as the people walk around hastily to catch the train or reach thier work place I flash back to those days and wondered what would happen if I had rejected to marry her .

Arnold I think I am sick she says ,I turn and look at her ,she looks perfectly fine to me ,I examine her more closely but still she looks fine to me .

You look okay I tell her ,but still I will call the doctor for a check up .

No you don't have to do that ,after the show we will go to the hospital .

The driver winds down the screen between us and say ,"we are here ".

My eyes meet that of Mona, she is seated right by his side ,she flashes a smile but I don't smile back .

Okay she says " please you too will do as we practiced .

Queen's nods .
And we get down from the limo ,the tall building stood shining with a big sign board over heading it ,love birds written in bold fonts .

I feel cringy but still we have to do this monalisa had suggested it would be good for our public image and since the board have conspired with the help of her father to remove her from her position this is all she has now her image ,if restored it might change thoer mind and queenie would get her position back maybe I will get a post as a director in one of the companies or firms.

We walk into the building straight to the studio ,Annie walker is the show host I have seen her on TV before ,I enjoyed the show late at night during the weekends that was why I suggested it to queenie .

Annie had a way if making her viewers fall in love with the couple ,if there was a prophet of love I would say it was Annie .

Hello she said as she walked towards us ,she was chubby and had gray eyes and blond hair ,she had a soothing smile that revealed her dimples .

You are welcome Mr and Mrs shaw ,you are right on time ,come you too.

We followed her figure as she led us to the waiting room.

You both look great ,I will have you with me In a minute ,we just jhave to finish with my Crew.

She says before rushing out ,quennie looks around the white round filled with mirrors ,she is quite warm I say breaking the silence .

Yeah she is queenie replied.

Come with me a man says as she walks us to the side of the room ,I can see a door by it , which was partially hidden by the mirror on it .

He hands us some nano phones to place on our clothing ,these are microphones he said .

Then he pushes the door open we walk into it and then following a short narrow path we arrive on the stage .

We see pictures of us on the screens ,one was our marriage photo at the church and another had been at the reception .

Welcome she says hugging the both of us ,we seet on her milky couch and she sets facing us and the camera.

Today I have Here with me on love birds the most talked about couple in town .

We would like to know about thier marriage and they are here to share with us how it all happened ,give a hand of applause for Arnold and his beautiful wife queenie shaw.

Let's go on a break ,when we come back we will be hearing how the two met .

She says to the camera with a bright smile exposing her dimples again ,I smile too with her.

Thus is happening I say to myself ,I don't feel nervous I don't feel pained I only feel good ,I feel like a champ I enjoy the show just like the people watching us from thier homes.

Queenie holds my hand and my mind dives back to the other night ,I feel my hardness move in my pants .

So how did you two meet she asks ,I smile and look at quennie who takes the initiative to answer ,it was a rainy day she began ,and I was going to work when I saw a familiar face ,one which I have not seen before .

But still his face felt familiar, I decided to give him a lift .
