Chapter 22

I wonder who this is ,I turn to face her now ,looking into her brown eyes I could see it the promise of passion ,the heat growing between our bodies and the the crazy grin on her beautiful face all tell me she is a time bomb ready to blow me up but I don't listen ,my shift grows in my trousers and as I move my leg towards her the door opens and she walks right past me, her behind calling to me ,I followed her ,she walks into a room full of men ,most of them were in thier fifties and sixties.

They all sat round and when I came in all eyes flashed in me ,for a moment my mind went to the bones in my trousers,I felt embarrassed, it was as though they were all looking at it .

She walks and sits and the only empty chair was the one in the front ,I walk slowly like a kid who has just been scolded .

And when I reach the seat I pull it back and sit ,I feel sweat running down my spine ,my heart beat pacing rapidly .

And then I began ,good morning ladies and gents ,my name is Arnold shaw and I am the husband of queenie dale now queenie shaw .

My wife has asked me to represent her her today ,she........



All in favor of Mr shaw to be the new ceo say Aye the lady from earlier speaks up ,cutting me from my introduction.

The whole room is filled with aye ,just then my eye meets that of Archer ,startled I wanted to ask what he was doing here but she continues ,since the while board have all agreed that Mr Archer should be the new ceo then this meeting should come to a close .

The men all stand and begin to leave a few come around to congratulate me .

And I ponder why is Archer here?
Why did everyone agree to make me the ceo easily .

It all seemed like someone was pulling some strings and I can't put place who,queenie was out of it ,was it Archer with his games again .

I would have a chat with him, I assure myself .

Congratulations I see you have made it to the league of elites ,have fun Archersays before turning to go .

I will like to have a chat with you Archer I tell him.

Wow I am curious as to what you want to discuss ,just tell your new secretary to call me when you are ready. .


After everyone had left ,I called queenie to tell her about what just happened ,and she was also surprised and happy ,I was certain now that she wasn't the one pulling it here.

"Let's go I here the lady from earlier say to me ,we are not yet done with your tour ".


I will be going to see my parents u hear queenie say over the phone .

Okay I tell her ,shocked she was telling me,it is unlike her to seek permission before living the house .

I hang up and now we she takes me round the building and introducing ne to everyone along the way as the new ceo .


And yet I do not know her name ,after we were done we go back up to the last floor and there she shows me my office .


And as we enter she says,here you are this is now your office ,as promised you now know everywhere and everyone .

As she turned to leave I grabbed her and she slaps me immediately making me retrace my steps.

But....


Not yet ,you are still a naughty boy ,I can't wait to have you too but you have to show me you are a good boy Arnold.

I stand and watch her leave ,my left hand supporting my chin where her hand landed I smiled and went back out to get acquainted with my secretary again .


Shewas a robust woman in her forties ,as she had said earlier her name was Ella and she would be at my beck and call.

So I asked her first who the lady I was with just now was and to my surprise she said, sir I thought you two knew each other ,I don't know who she is .

I went round the offices and most of them did not know who she was ,it was as if I had gone crazy asking who the lady who walked round their offices with me was,they all thought she was my P.A for some reason.

I could not call queenie and tell her about this lady ,I needed answers and the only two people who could give me answers were Archer and the mystery lady herself.


Upstairs ,as I was going back to my office ,Ella's asks ,sir should I show you your schedule or just email it?

Just email it I tell her as I enter my new office ,I marvel at how grand it is ,it was just like the first time I entered queenies office at Amt multinational.

Just thinking of the place ,I want to go and check it out but first I have a lot to do I tell myself.

The phone rings and when I pick it up I hear the voice of Mr dale ,quennies father.


I presume you like your new work space ,so this is your plan to take it all away from my daughter, you are taking everything away from my baby piece by piece .


You are really good at this ,first you get her to marry you now you take away her position ,as the chairman I would have revoked your status but the board are all in suppport,what did you offer them ,what did you do Arnold.

I should have never underestimated you ,you will pay for this, I won't let you off.

He hangs the phone and I relax into the leather seat, with my head full and my heart beating fast, my stomach growls and then sink as sweat fill my forehead ,I will survive I encourage myself out loud with my eyes closed.
