I don't know what had happened myself and it would really be stupid of me to fight against him knowing he uated me since the first day he met me.


I hear a notification on the screen but I don't check it ,I know what it is ans who sent it ,I call Ella's and tell her to set an appointment with Archer Monroe .

Yes sir she replied and two minutes later she calls to tell me he would be meeting at the Cafe two blocks away from our building .

I stand up and make my way there ,I have a lot to ask him and I hope he has the answers to my questions.


Christine calls and tells me she is on her way to the airport she tells me she had spoken to queenie and told her she would be going to Africa for some charity project, that I should concour when queenie tells me the same thing .

I just say "okay "

And then she hangs up ,when I reach the Cafe, I see Archer with his back facing the door ,he was chatting with the attendant who was grinning ear to ear .

Hello Archer I said sitting on the stool next to his ,you seem to be having fun like always I tell him .

Yes he replied .

You seem to be on edge always too.


I let out a half smile and then I say ," you seem to like games and toying with the life's of others seem to bring you joy ".

Wow ,I never knew you were this good at seeing through others ,what games have I played with you Arnold ?

The lady you sent after me today and also taking my brother to drink himself to stupor.

And....


Hold on ,first of all your brother came to meet me in the vip section and we had loads of fun ,secondly I did not send any lady after you, you seem to be a magnet for women .

I shut my eyes for a moment and then I say ,that is not it ,what ever you have been planning it is wise you cut it off.

Do you know your wife is not a dale?

How does it feel marrying the wrong child ?

Now I know why her mother had been cold to her all this years ,she could not feel the connection between them .
I could not take it anymore, jacking his collar I tell him,"dint you talk about my wife that way ,she is a dale ,and she is loved.

Whatever scratches your itch ,but this I am sure off.

Should I call the police the attendant ask him and he says" don't,we are just having a chat.

And he smiles at me ,and I let him go understanding the situation .


Arnold you should understand one thing ,you are in the league of elites now ,everyone is a friend and everyone is a foe ,you can't be a brute .

And then he walks out the Cafe adjusting his suit ,remembering that I haven't really gotten information about the lady from 3arlier u rush after him but before I could get to him he was gone .

I go back to the office and open the mail Ella's had sent and then I began to put some work down ,and as I did I forgot about all that had happened earlier and also I forgot about time as I had worked late into the night .

I pick up my jacket and my stomach growls I rush to go get something you eat before heading home.

Entering the first restaurant my eyes had come in contact with ,I order a table and sit.

While browsing through the menu I see a familiar face there she was talking to a strange face and they seemed intimate ,I felt a bit of a lump under my chin .

But I just call the waiter and place my order and as I wait for it ,I continue to browse the menu and occasionally glancing her way,she was the mystery lady I met at dale cooperation .

The waiter brought my dinner and emptied his tray On my table .

As I dug into my food I heard a voice ,can we join you?
I raise my eyes to meet hers ,yes you may I tell her .

The man by her side pulls a chair for her first and then pulls one for himself .

And then they both order and we all eat silently .


After we were done ,and I was leaving she said .

Arnold you still haven't asked my name yet ? she said with a cunning smile.

I corked My head to the side and asked her ,why to I need to know your name ?
Won't it be easy if you knew my name since we are going to be meeting often from now on.

"How are you do sure we will be meeting so often i replied as i watch her her brows furrowed.

"Because I am your benefactor, you sure have to please me now you know."

I don't just hand out favours to strangers ,she adds.

Sighing, I ask what is the name of my benefactor who doesn't just dish out favors.


The man who had been with her comes back to meet us,it's getting late miss.....

Call me Sofia martel ,that's my name ,I stand there with my mouth agape looking at her walk away covered in her designer fur ,she looked gorgeous even from behind.

There was something about her that pulled me to her,I knew there was more to this lady but I know there was more I needed to know and the only person who could give me her background information is Freddy.

He knew enough about people l I ke her that lived acting like ghosts ,even when he did not know he would investigate them .

He was good at that ,I wonder why he did not just join the police in the first place and decided to be a gangsta.
