Sofia's pov
I just have twenty four hours before the boss calls Mr to update him on his money ,everything was going well up until this morning when I got word about the shipment being stolen at sea.

This was bad for my reputation and also my boss .

This could get me Shor and that frightened me ,the last time u made a mistake ,a rag was wrapped around my face before I was thrown into a drum filled with water.

I could still relieve the experience in my mind ,I knew what I had to do ,and I would have to work fast against the clock.

Leaving a trail of dead body would have brought out fast answers but the boss would never allow that ,he would say"kill only when you have to and don't miss your target".

If he is right this is a situation that is life threatening, so who am I going to point my gun at ?
That is the question that I have to answer before he calls me ,I already know that he knows the shipments are missing but what I want to know now is how much time is he giving me to resolve the mess.

I did not think for long about it as I began to call all my boys and tell them to investigate ,I had to add the part which was from the boss speech "shot only if you have to."

It cold sweat filled my back and I could feel my heart beating faster as I thought about a possibility that I had dread all this while .

'Rico' he could be the one ,and killing a gang member was punishable by death ,if it was him I would have to investigate and bring work to our jefe(boss).

It was the only way to go about this thing, if it wasn't Rico them it would be our rival gang ,I could not place my head on it .

Which of the could have been ballsy enough to steal from us.

All this speculations led me back to Dale cooperation, there has to be a mole ,one little fish that decided it din't like the water anymore.

I started my interrogation with all those who knew about it sending my boys the names of who ever came to mind and one after the other they brought them in for investigation, it was hectic sening them back and not finding anything .

What was more hectic was the torture that led nowhere.

When they had finally brought queenie to me,my heart was already certain she was another dead end,but I interrogated her to be certain.

Arnold was going to be next ,it was obvious that he did not want to partake but now ,I have to do what I must .

That night I could not get through to him,and I did not want much noise,so I sent two of my boys to his house but they did not come back ..

I had to send lubo to drop off queenie and do a little sniffing ,I wanted to know what had happened.

But he came back empty there was no trace of the men I sent.

I have to do this by myself ",I say out loud to myself.

If the boss have not called me yet ,then he was aware of the issue.

I have to be on the clock the boss will want answers soon ,and u will be called in for slacking off.

I remembered when he had found me,I was someone's slack off ,and then he had asked me to shoot the person .

And then he said to me ,"don't forget ,this is what happens to those who do not follow orders properly. "

He said before telling me to keep the gun ,I looked a5 my hand ,the gun was resting between my fingers ,the ash colored gum stared back at me .

I picked up some pills and popped them.

If this is the end ,u do need a hood night rest ,I can't scare myself to death.

I lay down and stared into space waiting patiently for sleep to grace me.

The next morning I dressed up in a blue navy suit as always,u had a ton of them and it Bagan to look like a uniform now .

The boss asked me not to wear black like the others, he himself wore white ,though the designs were always different but it was just white he wore at all times .

I wondered why he called himself and his El Diablo, if he wanted to look like an angel.

I looked at the mirror before me ,I was about to ask it the question pretending it was the boss when my phone rang .

My heart skipped,it landed immediately I saw the name of the caller.

It was Arnold calling ,I guess the prey is now after the hunter.

I would like you to Come to the office ,I have something I would like to discuss with you ,it's really urgent .

I have something too I want to talk to you about ,I will be right there .

I could here him ask,what are you doing queenie .I wanted to reply then I found out o wasn't the one he was talking to .

I could hear her voice ,I want you she said to him and I could not help but feel jealous .

I hear him hang up the phone and my mind raced to what would be happening between the two of them .

My lips curled up as my brow norrowed,I was in a pool of mud and they were both enjoying office sex at this time of the day .

Arnold would have to pay for this ,he would have to pay for all of it I assured myself with a light chuckle.

I took my keys and made my way outside my house,giving the keys yo lubo ,I opened the back door and sat .
