I feel like I have been hit with a rock ,my first child I say out loud.

And then I remember queenie,I remember the contract .

You know u am married to your friend,yes?

I do she says with tears in her eyes .
I just want to tell you about it ,she adds

Are you planning on keeping the baby ? I ask after I notice she was drinking water ,I felt dumb for asking such,but then I add,"You should think about it."

Yes she said ,I will be keeping it ,I will go far a way you don't have to worry about me.

I hear the lie ,I hear the pain under her voice but I have to let her go.

Okay i say ,bye then ,I walk towards the door and open it,then she speaks .

Stay a while stay with me for a whole longer ,at least I deserve that ,don't I.

I open the door and then I go out ,I don't look back I just walk away .

Each step I take away from her I feel my heart break but then I think to myself ,she will be fine.

My phone ring and I pick it immediately.

Without checking who is the caller .

Where are you she demanded?

I will be home soon I assured her ,I am on my way I add.

"Okay see you soon .

I drive home and and seat in the car for a moment,after taking a deep breath I make my way inside .

The house sparkled under the creamy shandelier ,the whole place had been cleaned ,the new maids were really doing thier job .

And I liked the way they were nowhere to be seen after that.

Making my way upstairs my mind went straight back to Christine and how she had asked me to stay ,it was as thought the words were hunting me .

I push the door open and I see her lying on the bed ,she looked worried, first thing that I thought about was cancer ,then my mind went to lesser illnesses like fibroid or so .

But I look around for the doctor and she says he left already as if reading my mind .


Okay I say as I sit close to her on the bed ,what happened ?

What did he say is wrong with you?

We are having a baby she said .

It's good news great news but,but!

We used protection and you were on the pill right?

We did use protection but I wasn't on the pill,I was used to being with Christine, I did not take any pill to be with her !


It's still good news now your parents can rest easy I assure her ,once you put to bed bo one will question our marriage anymore .

I don't want to have a baby !!

Think about it ,this is good news infact this us the best thing that has happened to us.

I walk to the door and go outside ,I sit in the living room an think of what to do ,2ho will come to my aid ,now ,I have two women pregnant and the one who wants to keep the baby can't be with me ,the one who doesn't want her baby is with me .

I stand and walk out to the car ,and set out into the city ,I was driving to a bar when Freddy called .

Arn what are you upto it's the weekend common let's party together, I am inside blaze ,you know it ? He asked shouting .

Yeah I do ,common let's have fun .

I did come out to have some air and its been forever since and I and he went out together.

I drove to the club and I go in jumping the long line of people waiting to enter ,just like Christine had thought me .

I text him and with a minute my phone beeps ,I check it and see his text "climb up ,I am in the vip section".

I don't hesitate and I go up the vip section and I look around .

Hey Arn he called and I turn to see him seated in the middle of two girls both half naked .

I see a familiar face by his side ,he was also occupied too .

He flashes a mischievous grin which makes me want to leave .
But then I remember my vrother is seated with him and anything could happen Freddy is stubborn and now that he was drunk he would be hard to reason with .

I sat down and he snaps his finger, more girls and booze appear ,the girls dance around but 8 pay them no mind ,


Hey arn are you having fun Freddy asks .

His speech was slurry ,his eyes dim and heavy I could tell he was wasted.

Christine's brother ,Archer monroe flashes a smile as he asks how is your wife or should I say my sister's wife, how do you feel as the third wheel, did you tell the Annie you are the third wheel?

I bet that would have hurt just thinking about it .

I stood to hit him but he was wasted too just like my brother ,hitting him now would only make him feel better.

I sit back down and pour myself a drink ,I needed to feel at ease ,the trouble is overwhelming.

Arn let's have some fun together Freddy said pushing his glass forward.

That's enough ,you have had enough I tell him don't drink anymore .

I want to drink he said with his eyes closed ,the girls were rubbing thier bodies on him and the dollar bills in his hand fall to the ground.

Okay that's it let's go ,I pull him out of thier middle and put him on my shoulder ,his handles dangling free behind as I hold his legs and take him out of this place.
