CHAPTER 14

Brian just quickly helped himself out without saying another word. If she was him, she would have died at the spot.
“We can’t,” she whispered as he caresses her shoulders.
“We can,” he said and lowered his mouth to hers.
She couldn’t fight him anymore. She wanted him as much as he does and did it even matter where they do it anymore? This might be a good way to make those girls to stop looking at her husband and think of crazy idea.
He was hers and she was his. She kissed her husband back and kicked the crazy thoughts in her head away. She was going to make love with her husband and she didn’t care if it was in the office.

She couldn’t look at him in the eyes and he was enjoying it. Remembering just how much she tried to suppress her screams as they made love made his heart race. He had never done that before but with her he just wanted to do all crazy things.
He wanted to remember her face, her touch, and her moans as he works in his office every day. Remembering that he was married to a woman who loved him dearly and for no other reasons except her love for him unlike the people like Cleo who had schemes up their sleeves each and every time.
He took a slice of pizza from the box and he gave it to her.
“You should eat, you have exerted a lot of energy,” he said and she looked away because of shyness.
He loved teasing her, the look in her eyes and all. He just hoped that one day she would be able to express herself more and not be shy around him. But despite of everything, she was really cute.
He watched her as she ate her piece of pizza and smiled. His phone rang and he stood up to answer it.
“I am sorry to disturb you sir but it’s urgent,” Brian said on the other side.
“Come in and let’s hear it,” he said as he hung up.
Brian walked in after that and he came straight to him.
“What is it?” he asked him.
“A situation had just risen at the factory and I am afraid that you have to go there yourself,” Brian said looking at Selena.
“Okay, book the flight and I will pack the bag. You can tell me the details later,” he said as he dismissed Brian.
“I will get right to it now,” Brian said and left.
Sean walked back to where his wife was busy enjoying her third slice of pizza. She really amazed him by how huge her appetite was all the time.
“Let’s go home. I have an urgent trip in a few hours,” he told her and she stopped eating.
“Is it serious?”
“I will see once I go there, pack up your bags. We are leaving,” he said as he returned to his desk. He packed his bag and took his wife out of the office.

Selena was lonely ever since her husband left to solve whatever situation had arisen at one of the factories the previous day. The house was just huge for her to be alone. She began to have all these crazy thoughts again as she looked around the house.
The house had so many guestrooms and she wondered how it will be if she turned one into a nursery. The thought of that made her heart flutter. The thought of her carrying Sean’s child was elating.
She was never on birth control and they never used any protection from day one. It’s been a while since they started having sex together. Was there any possibility that she was pregnant?
Should she wait for a couple of days and wait for her menstrual cycle to come and see whether she was pregnant or not? If she was would he happy with the news? What if she wasn’t fertile and fails to give him children?
Would he leave her and abandon her for that? She shouldn’t be thinking of this, she was going to keep herself busy with something.
Since there was no school because it was weekend and she had no appointment with the P.R department, she was free to do whatever she wanted but reading wasn’t part of it. She was too lazy to read anything.
She decided to go and check up on her garden. It’s been a few weeks since Selena seed her vegetables and they were sprouting just fine.
She looked around, pulling out the weeds as she looked through the garden. It was just a matter of time before she starts eating them. Maybe she should learn how to cook so that her husband can eat something she made herself.
She sighed as she returned back into the house but a phone call made things hard for her. Someone wanted to see her, she was insisting apparently she had news about her husband and she wanted to hear what it was.
She changed her clothes, took her bag with the phone and bank cards. Since her husband had bought her a car after she got her license she drove herself to the meeting point. It was a café and she met one beautiful and elegant woman there. What was her connection with her husband?
She had seen most of the women her husband associated with before she was part of his life and yet this face was new.
“You look much younger in person,” the woman said as she sat down.
“Yes, I am young so it’s normal,” she replied, not liking everything about this woman.
“You have ways of answering child but I like you. You remind me of myself when I was young. I used to be righteous but life is just one hell of a ride you will find yourself doing some things you never thought you were capable of doing,” she said as she sipped her water.
Selena made an order for orange juice while she talked with the woman she had no idea who she was.
