CHAPTER 33

Moments later they lay next to each other panting heavily after having spent some quality and intimate time together.
“I guess I should dress up and go home,” she said as she tried to wake up but he pushed her down.
“What are you doing?” he asked her full of surprise.
“We did it so there is no need for me to be here anymore. I don’t want your girlfriend to find me here,” she said as she tried to wake up and he laughed.
“She is just a colleague of mine and not my girlfriend. And who told you I wanted to just sleep with you and dump you?” he asked her, angry at the way she thought so lowly of herself.
“I………I…” she stammered.
“I didn’t sleep with you because I wanted to just have you. I am sorry for making you to think that way. I slept with you because I wanted the two of us to be together. Let’s date and see where it will take us,” he said it and she looked at him with tears in her eyes.
Having someone who only have him in her eyes, was a blessing and he wasn’t going to discard that blessing anymore.
“You are not just saying that because you took my chastity, away right?” she asked still not believing him.
He wiped away the tears that were now running down her cheeks and he kissed her nose before capturing her lips with his again.
“I will never lie to you Vivian. This is new to me but let’s figure it out together,” he told her and she hugged him.
“I will be good to you, I promise,” she said and he smiled.
He knew that she meant it. She has always been good to him and it was his time for him to return the favor.
“I will be good to you too. You changed me in so many ways and I am sorry for hurting you in the past,” he said remembering the look on her face the night he rejected her.
“It’s okay, I know you are not the type of person to sugarcoat words. I forgive you for that so be good to me all the time and if it fails to work out between the two of us please be outright with me,” she said and he was touched by her level of maturity.
“I will make sure it doesn’t get to the point of that,” he said as he kissed her neck and she giggled.
“I think I have to go home, it’s getting late,” she whispered and he hissed. He had forgotten about it for a moment.
“Shit!” he said as he crawled out of the bed naked and she looked away.
He couldn’t believe that she was shying away after everything she did when they were making love. He carried her from the bed and he took her to the bathroom where he stood with her beneath the shower.
He just felt like making love to her, she was making him crazy or was it because it has been long since he was intimate with a woman?
They kissed, caressed each other’s bodies as they showered and, in the end, he made love to her while he pinned her on the wall as the water hit their intertwined bodies.
He didn’t want to send her home but it would be disrespectful especially with the relationship he shares with her family. As much reluctant he was he had to send her in one piece back home but it was good because he would still see her some other time but first he had to sit down and talk to Victor about this new development.
He respected his friend so much and he wanted him to know from him about his feelings for Vivian. He was old enough to stop playing hide and seek. He smiled as he zipped that sexy red dress, he should have the dress and keep it as a prize.
It made him realize his feelings for her, he knew one thing for certain; what he feels for her was just not lust but something much greater he couldn’t explain in words and he couldn’t wait to explore it further and see where it will take them.
“Thank you,” he said as he hugged her tightly.
“For what?” she asked him with a smile.
“For loving me and making me feel whole again,” he answered.
“You can thank me in many ways and I look forward to how you will do so Ed,” she said as she leaned in for a kiss.
He closed his eyes and let the wave of emotion carry him, this was a great feeling and he was going to cherish it always.

She was so excited; things were going so well especially after she told her husband about the pregnancy. He came home earlier and they have dinner together no matter how busy he was. She was happy and so were her parents. She had done it and no one will look down on her because she didn’t perform her duty a as wife.
“What are you thinking about?” Sean asked her as they both sat in the backseat of the car.
“I am just happy. I can’t believe that we are going shopping,” she said happily as her gaze was deep in her husband’s.
“I never thought I will be doing this so soon but I am happy regardless. Let’s buy everything that you want,” he said and she laughed.
“We don’t even know about the sex of the baby yet,” she protested.
“That doesn’t matter, we can just buy neutral stuff and add more when we know the sex of the baby,” he said as she put her hand in his.
“Okay, I can never win against you,” she said sulking but in a good way.
The car came to a stop at the shopping mall and Sean was careful when she got out.
“You know I can do things on my own right?” she reminded her husband seeing how far he was taking this too far.
“I know but we should be careful,” he said and she sighed.
She couldn’t even voice herself out, she knew what he was worried about but that will never happen.
“I will do whatever you want,” she said as she spreads her arms wide and he laughed.
“I will carry you if you remain that way,” he said and she quickly put them down.
She knew that he was serious and he will do it and she was not going anywhere being treated like a person who wasn’t capable of moving on her own.
“I will just walk husband,” she said and he grinned at her.
“I love it when you call me that way. Now let’s go and but our baby stuff,” he said and clasped her hand with his.
