The Savior

Just as he expected, in front of the door, Duchess Margareth was standing waiting, also with Jannet, Soledad's mother. Mama Nicky, Duchess Tatiana and Jannet looked calmer when they saw their children's faces visible on the front page. But Duchess Margaret became even more hysterical.
He ran like in a drama scene towards his beloved grandson who had just gotten out of his father's arms.
"Nicky, my dear..." she shouted hysterically, she grabbed her grandson's body and immediately hugged him tightly.
"Grandma?" Nicky was at a loss for words, although he was a little happy that Grandma was always on his side no matter what happened.
"Oh my God, thank God you're okay, come on in first, I'll bring you something to drink!" said Aunt Tatiana. 
Nicky and Soledad sat on the sofa with Uncle Alexander, Nicky's father, and Grandma Maria who kept hugging her grandson. Meanwhile, Father was standing near Opa Robert. The atmosphere, which had been full of hysteria and panic, suddenly turned silent when Opa Robert stood up, folded his arms and looked at Nicky with a sharp gaze.
“Nicky, as Opa said earlier. What are you doing in the forest? are you coming alone or going with Soledad?” Opa asked firmly, no one dared to interrupt when Opa was talking seriously.
"Nicky go alone Opa!" he answered quietly with his head bowed. He didn't dare to lift his face.
"With Dalton?" Opa asked again.
"Yes !"
"So, why can Dalton go home alone without you?"
Hearing Opa's statement, Nicky was shocked. Of course, because he could get lost looking for his dog. If he had gone straight home with Soledad, something like this would definitely not have happened.

"Dalton went home alone?" Nicky asked to make sure, Soledad who was sitting next to him could only glance at Nicky occasionally.
"Yes, Dalton came home and kept barking, he asked Opa to follow him. "Then, Opa asked your mother, your mother said you went outside to play with Dalton," said Opa. Nicky was increasingly confused, it felt like he didn't dare to be honest, because it would definitely be very embarrassing.
"I'm sorry, Opa!" he said pitifully. He was very afraid because he didn't dare to lie. Soledad, who was sitting next to Nicky, felt sorry for her, even though she didn't know the exact reason why Nicky dared to enter the forest alone with his dog.
"Opa, I'm sorry if you tell me the truth, what were you doing there?"
"Never mind darling, Nicky has apologized, it's better not to prolong it, poor him. Look at his condition, his leg is injured, his clothes are dirty and wet!" said Grandma Maria, trying to defend her beloved grandson. 
“He's like this because you guys pamper him too much, so he acts as he pleases. What he has done has made it difficult for everyone, why does he dare to enter a place he has never been before?"
"You always exaggerate the problem, we only need to pay the people who have helped look for it, what's so difficult? "Nicky is our only grandson, what if something bad happens to him?" said Grandma Maria insistently, her hand continuously stroking Nicky's hair gently. Papa Nicky, who has only been in Djokjakarta for the past two days, can't say anything at all if Opa takes action.

"Stop defending him Maria, don't spoil him too much! Nicky, you still haven't answered Opa's question. Your wound will be treated if you answer!"
"I...am I going to be punished?" he asked shakily. His eyes were starting to get wet.
"Depends on your answer,"
"I...that...was, I wanted...wanted to..." he answered haltingly. He remembered that the last time he made a mistake, Opa asked him to stay in his room for three days, forbidden to play and only allowed to read books. At that time, he was really bored because he couldn't play with his friends. Apart from that, he was also asked to help clean his family's horse stables in England.

Then, Nicky asked to be invited, but I refused. So, he promised to give me chocolates that his father brought from London if I wanted to invite him. I agreed to his offer because I thought that chocolate from London would be very delicious. We promised to meet in the forest, after that-” 
"After that ?" asked Duchess Tatiana.
“After that, because it was about to rain, we went home, on the way we realized that Nicky's dog was missing. We were looking for him, while looking for the dog, I fell into a wild boar trap hole and Nicky struggled to help me until he fell and was injured, that's how it happened!" Soledad answered. He really made up a story to cover up the real incident which would definitely embarrass Nicky.
