Hatred

"William Der Lijn," muttered Soledad pensively. Rachel, who was sitting next to him, immediately looked confused.

"What about Count William?" Rachel asked.

"Earlier, when I finished washing my face, there was a nobleman's child in front of the gate,"

"A noble's son? So, what is his relationship with Count William Der Lijn?"

"Mr. Hendrick said, the child lives in the big house we often pass by, Count William Der Lijn's house,"

"Boy ?"

"Yes, his hair color is blonde brown, his skin is very white and his eyes are green. He is standing in front of the gate,"

"What did he do?"

"I don't know, but Mr. Hendrick said, almost every day during study hours he stands there for almost an hour!"

"He's not a student at this school?"

"No, that's why I'm confused, why doesn't he just study at this school instead of standing there alone," said Soledad.

Soledad was lost in thought, trying to recall the face of the boy she saw at the gate. Rachel, who was sitting next to him, could only stare confused.

"Are you still thinking about that boy?" Rachel asked.

"Yeah, after school we'll pass by Count William Der Lijn's house, right?"

"Yes, why ?"

"Who knows, maybe you'll meet that boy?"

"Are you serious? Really curious!"

"The child's skin is very white, his face is also pale,"

"Then, what's the connection?"

"If we meet again, I want to ask what he does every morning in front of the school gate,"

"Okay, then we'll pass in front of Count William's house, who knows, maybe we'll meet you!"

"Rachel, want to accompany me?"

"Yes, I'll accompany you, we'll go home together!"

"Oh yeah, I forgot!" said Soledad while patting her forehead. The two little girls laughed, a blue-eyed boy sitting right behind Soledad looked at her sarcastically. It was as if he couldn't accept seeing the laughter of the human he hated the most.

"What's so funny? You're laughing at me, aren't you?" Asked Nicholas who was standing in front of Soledad.

"Huh? What? Who?" Soledad asked, confused, because she didn't feel like she was bothering Nicholas at all in the last 90 minutes.

"Come on, be honest, you guys are talking about me, right? Just admit it!"

"You're crazy, aren't you? What's so important about you that you have to tell me? You're not important!" Soledad said in a loud tone and a terrifying eagle gaze.

Nicholas remained silent in his place, not moving at all. Cruel, rude, that's what he thought at the moment about the craziest and scariest girl he had ever met.

Rachel? He was no less surprised. He had known for a long time that Soledad was a person who was always straightforward, stubborn and had her own way. However, the sentence that Soledad just said was completely unexpected.

Rachel glanced at Nicholas for a moment, she could see the boy's look of helplessness. Even though Nicholas has everything that Soledad doesn't have, Soledad clearly has the courage that almost all children her age don't have in standing up to oppression and injustice.

However, it seemed that the two of them weren't the only ones who couldn't believe what they had just heard. All the students in the class were no less shocked. "Soledad, you've really gone crazy!" That was the sentence in their heads that drew disbelief at the madness of this commoner boy.

"He's really gone crazy, look, Nicky must be very angry!" said Charlotte, the red-haired girl.

"It's as if you just met him, he's already out of his mind!" Continue with Erika, the girl with two braids.

"H-how dare you, how dare you say that to me!" Finally, after almost a minute of silence due to helplessness, he responded to the commoner's words. Nicholas couldn't stand it either, his emotions had really risen to the top of his head.

"What? So what? What's the problem? You're not important, so why talk about it, right Rachel?" Soledad didn't really feel guilty about her words and instead threw them at Rachel who could only smile bitterly while occasionally glancing at Nicholas whose face was as red as a boiled crab.

"S-Soledad never mind, it's better-" said Rachel trying to stop Soledad's courage or rather, limit it so that the problem doesn't get bigger.

"Why? Am I right? Why do we always have to obey their words? How important are they? How important is he?" Soledad's words became increasingly louder. She was fully aware that her words would lead her to new problems. But his reckless nature cannot just be stopped.

"I am sorry !" said Nicholas in a loud voice full of annoyance.

"What ?"

"Quickly apologize!" Nicholas looked at Soledad, his eyes wide with a sharp blue light.

"Why should I apologize? I didn't do anything wrong to you!" Of course, Soledad would not obey such a unilateral order. The tougher the opponent, the braver he will be in offering resistance.

"Apologize or-"

"Or what? You want to threaten me? It won't work, you idiot!"

"S-stupid? You're saying I'm stupid?"

"Yes, you are stupid and insane!" Soledad emphasized her words even more. All eyes were focused on the two human children who were not even 10 years old. However, the dispute between them is like a feud that occurs between adults.
