Chapter 82
***
Ace's POV:
Heather slept heavily the whole day. She slept from two PM and it was already past eight PM. I had a feeling she would sleep till the next day.
Maybe packing out of her apartment had gotten her really tired. The plans I had for both of us were ruined. But oh well, If things had turned out different, it was fine by me. As I watched a movie in the living room, I decided to call Keith.
"Hey man," he said, "How's it going over there with Heather? Hope neighbors ain't complaining about noise," he chuckled and I laughed a little.
"Things turned out different. I think she might be a little ill. Long story. Guess who we met today."
"Who?"
"Sheriff Bates."
"Tell me you're fucking kidding me."
"Nope, I ain't man."
"Woah! It's a total miracle. What did you do? Did you talk with him?"
"I'll tell you everything tomorrow. Don't call Christina yet, wait for me first."
"Alright. Sure."
"Okay goodnight."
"Yeah. Same to you."
I hung up.
There was heat and I stood up, deciding to get a cool shower.
I dropped the remote and ran upstairs. I entered the room and beauty was still asleep. I undressed and entered the bathroom for a shower.
After long minutes, I walked into the room with a towel round my waist. It was past nine And I felt a little tired too. I got a sweater from my closet and put it on with some boxers and that was it. No shorts. The pullover reached my mid thighs. I was a little hungry and plus, I didn't want to feel heat so i decided to go downstairs like that and eat. I would wear a short later, before sleeping. I went downstairs and ordered a pizza.
Thirty minutes later, I had it. I paid the guy and locked the door. I went to uncle Victor's former house office, sat down, thought and ate.

Heather's POV:
I fluttered my eyes open, yawning. I'd slept so well. I looked around for Ace. He wasn't there. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Then I smiled to myself. I'd had a wonderful dream about a successful future with Sheridan, full of love. I looked at the time.
"Past nine?" I said shocked.
Woah. How tired was I? Oh my!
The wonderful day we were planning to spend together was ruined by me. I felt awful. I quickly got out of bed and went straight to the bath to shower.
Once done, I returned to the room and that's when I realised I'd forgotten my night dress. So instead, I wore one of my short and light dresses. Nothing else. I then left to go meet him.
I found him sitting and eating a pizza slice in his uncle's former office. He was backing me. I approached him and kissed the back of his neck.
"Hm, someone's finally up," he smiled as I walked to his front.
"Yup. Was so tired. Don't know why," I sat on the table opposite him, taking a slice of pizza.
"Still hungry, aye?" he chuckled. I smiled and rolled my eyes.
"Shut up," I giggled and looked at him. I noticed he looked a little sad, "Sheridan? What's wrong?"
He looked at me.
"What? Nothing. I'm okay."
"You're not. I know you like you were my half."
He smirked a little.
"I am."
I smiled, reddening a little.
"I'm serious, baby. What's bothering you."
He sighed and dropped his slice back with the others.
"Was just thinking. Took a trip down memory lane. I remember the good man and the great father, my dad was."
I felt a sting in my heart.
"Both dad and uncle Ken, didn't deserve to die. They were good men," he added.
"I know. And that's why you are still alive. To avenge," I got off the table and straddled him, holding his face, "Please, don't be sad. None of our dads would want this and you know."
"You're probably right, sweetheart," he smiled at me, giving me goosebumps.
"Yeah. Now kiss me, please," he smiled and kissed me. I melted in his arms.
We kissed passionately, slowly building up the heat. I wanted him to make love to me at that moment. I didn't want that day to be wasted. It was our only night in that huge house.
I kissed him like my life depended on it. At a point, he broke the kiss and looked at me, surprised.
"What?" I asked.
"You're not wearing panties?"
"So?" I giggled and kissed his neck before he could answer. He chuckled and stopped me.
"Baby, wait–"
"What?" I whined like a kid.
"You want us to make love?" he asked, surprised.
"Yes. Please, I don't wanna let our only night here pass uselessly," I kissed his neck again.
"But you're not well. Heather, I don't want you fainting."
"I won't!"
"Baby, I'm serious."
I decided to pull up an act that would make him crack. I folded my arms and frowned.
"Sheridan Wesley, Are you telling me no?" I asked as if shocked. He looked at me, eyes wide.
"No. No, don't take it that way. I just–"
"I can't believe you're rejecting me," I pouted my lips, puppy eyes out.
"Heather, oh cmon. I just–"
"Fine! Goodnight," I pretended to stand and just as expected, he grabbed my arms and held me in place.
"Why can't I resist you? Even if it's for your own good," he murmured. I smiled, reddening.
"You love me," I held his face and we shared another kiss.
In no time, Ace was hard and ready for me. I wasted no time and soon he was in me. I moaned at the ever so sweet feeling. I began to slowly move on him.
We stared at each other in eyes.
"Before we drive the senses out of each other, let's go upstairs," he smirked at me.
"Sure," I wrapped my arms around his neck, "But you'll have to carry me. Cuz I ain't moving."
"I know," he kissed my neck, "I ain't coming out of you, until you make me come."
I reddened and he smiled, standing.
"Let's go up."
