CHAPTER 25

JAMES POV
My crazy friends, still led by Migs, were still laughing. He really doesn't have anything in mind, it's all stupid things inside his brain. I just gasped. 
'What's wrong with her? Is she mad at me? Is she annoyed? Did I say something bad? Tsk why bother anyway? Who is she to think of?' I tilted my head to my thoughts.
I just thought it quietly, my forehead still furrowed. And my eyes, still narrow. I don't understand, I'm disgusted. 'Did she hate me?' I could not help but ask myself again. I just gasped again.
I guess I gasped loudly, "What a sighed bro?" Michael asked me. 
"Oh, nothing." I just said.
"Bro relax, she's gonna be mine soon." Miguel said, this idiot winked at me at the same time. 
"MIGS!?" The three men reached against him. 
"Hey! You're not joking anymore. It hurts dude." He said while smiling caressing his nape.
"Is that not a good joke?" Daniel said. 
"You're so killjoy, really It still hurts." He still complained.
I still silently watched them. As if out of myself. They even went inside the office after the elevator came out.
"So what really is your reason why you all came here hah?" I immediately asked them while losing my tie when sitting. It's as if I can't breathe. I just frowned at them. They even looked at each other, meaningful looks.
'I smell something fishy. They have a bad plan.'
"Don't you dare whatever you are planning. Or else I'm gonna kick all your ass out of here, and I'll band you here." I warned them.
Suddenly the crazy ones burst out laughing. After a while, they suddenly looked serious and arranged to sit on the couch inside the office. While looking at me.
"Just do your work bro never mind us." Michael told me. 
"Do you think I can work well even though I know you are planning for something?" They just laughed at me.
But I try to focus on work properly. They are busy talking, telling many stories.
They were very noisy, but I was alarmed for a while again because they suddenly stopped and stood up.
"Where do you think you're going?" I asked them because they get out one by one. "Chill bro we'll just go out for a while. We're just doing some business there." Said Daniel.
I got up as well and followed them. I immediately blocked my hand in the elevator to not to close. 
"Oh, where are you going?" Michael asked.
"I will go with you." I said so and they laughed.
Eventually it stopped on the 45th floor. So I frowned, who are they going to? Everyone was silent when the crazy four suddenly entered and I just stood behind them. The shock on my employees' faces was very obvious. Especially the female employees.
"WOHH...! What bad wind brought you here." I heard Mike speak.
"Mike you're here how are you bro?" Daniel asked him, they made a body bump.
"What did you all come for?" Mike asked my companions. But he was not answered by them.
"Oh" he was still a bit surprised as I heard. 
"Sha come here." I still frowned because he called the woman. But she never came. Later on,  the lunatics approached the woman one by one.
"Hi Miss Beautiful my name is Miguel but you can call me Migs." He handed his hand to her for a shake hands, 'I'm going to kicked your a*s moron!' this crazy one I really want to hit him big time. He was still smiling at her.
"Michael Angelo is here." He said next.
"I'm Daniel." Daniel said and he winked, the madman. 'I'm going to pull out your eyes, I'll make you blind!' I saw Shakeera's face suddenly turn red.
"Arthur, your service lady, and nice to finally meet you." Arthur also introduces himself here.
'Finally meet you, what is this you want to bring me out, You want to reveal?' I suddenly straightened myself, I was alarmed. I saw that she seemed confused.
"Enough that flirting session! Let's go." Annoyed, I told them once back out of the office, when she caught me staring at her. The lunatics just laughed at me.
"So possessive" I even heard Miguel say to me. 
"So my suspicion is really correct, what do you plan to do next hah?" I said angrily to them.
"Don't get us wrong dude, we just want to meet the woman you're busy with right now." Daniel said as he pressed the elevator open.
Arrow down it pressed Instead of arrow up. "It's good and you also thought of leaving." I'm shaking my head as I even told them. They just laughed at me again.
I still frowned at what I saw at the entrance of the company. A child familiar to me was with a woman dressed as a nurse. And she also looks familiar. The guards talked to her. It was as if they were still arguing.
Suddenly I felt abnormal when I saw the child. I felt like I wanted to run to him and lock him in my arms again.
My companions and I have already heard of them. I quickly approached them. "Sir guard, please let us in. My sister is Shakeera Alcantara and this child is her child with me. I will just talk to my Sister. There is only an emergency at the hospital so I need to go there now, no one left for my nephew. Please, we will just stay and wait there in the lobby. We will just wait for my sister." The nurse said.
I heard the nurse say, `` Shakeera is her sister. "I'm sorry, Miss, it's really forbidden because, Sir will scold us." I also heard the guard say this.
"Why don't you Let them in." I answered their conversation. They looked at me. "Sir Good Morning." He said looking back at me and the child.
"You're the nurse in that hospital right?" I asked the woman. 
"Yes Sir and I need to go there right now. I was called because I had an emergency and I needed it, because the patient's mother requested it. There is nothing left for my nephew Shawn at home. I just wish I could talk to my sister." As she explained to me.
"So Shakeera is your sister?" I asked her.
"Yes Sir." She nodded.
The boy just stared at me when I looked at him. 
"Aunt he's the one I told you last time, look." I heard him say he even pulled one of her hands. What does this mean? Her aunt looked at me in surprise again.
"Good morning Mr. Smith nice to see you again sir." The boy greeted me and even held out his little hand to me. 
"Good morning too little buddy nice to see you again too." I also greeted him as I reached out his little hand. I even missed it when I touched it. It was as if a bulk of electricity flowed through my body. But it feels good. It was as if my heart was being caressed. I had the same reaction on the child's face. His eyes staring at me also seemed confused and questioning.
I heard someone clearing their throat behind me. "You can go now Miss Alcantara, just leave him here. I will take care of him." I said suddenly here. 
"All right Sir thank you so much, Shawn behave ok be good. I'll go ahead." She said to me and he turned it around.
"Yes aunt I will." She kissed the child before leaving.
"Hi kiddo what's your name?" Michael asked immediately as he also looked around at me and him.
"My name is Shawn Arch Alcantara sir." He politely answered him. 
"Oh, hello Shawn, I'm Michael Angelo Corpuz."  
"I'm Daniel Christ Ford."
"Miguel Andrew Cortes, and you can call  me Uncle Migs kiddo." He also shook hands.
"Arthur Skye Mendez buddy.
And we're the friends of this man here."
"Nice to meet you all Sir." He says politely. 
"Nice to finally meet you too buddy." The four said at the same time.
"No need to ask any more questions." I heard Michael say. "Yeah it looks like a split fruit." The three agreed.
"Let's go buddy." I led the child to the elevator. I left the fireflies. "Where are we going Mr. Smith?" He asked me. 
"To your mom." I told him and smiled. It really feels good. The Employees looked at us as we walked.
"I never think Sir already has a child?"
"Sir, is already married?"
"His son is so cute like Sir, handsome."
"The wife of Sir was so lucky." All of that I heard from the employees. Someone even said "I felt envy".
I just smiled at what I heard. We immediately went to his mom's office after we got out of the elevator.
I saw that the employees inside were surprised again. When they saw the boy with me. But her mom was very busy in front of the computer and she didn't notice us. 
"Good morning Sir." They greeted me. But this one seems to have no one inside. I just looked at her, and her son immediately approached her.
"Mama." Her son called her.
She was even surprised to see the child. And suddenly she stood up.
"Shawn!? What are you doing here? Why are you here? How did you get here? Who brought you here?" She's cute when she looks shocking and in pannick.
She would have said something more but his son immediately cut her off.
"Mama! Slowly, one by one. Ok"
"Mama, can I stay with Mr.Smith please?" She looked at her son in shock. Instead of answering her questions something else was said. I was also surprised by what he said. But I only smile. 
"Shawn?" I heard her call him.
"It's ok with me, your son will stay with me." I Said once carrying the child out of the office. I never let her speak again.
