CHAPTER 27

JAMES POV
'Shit! What have I done? She may be angry at what I did to her. What will I do now?' I washed my face with my hands again. I couldn't help myself as I looked at her lips.
It was as if I was hypnotized to kiss her. Her lips were very soft, and the most delicious lips that I've ever tasted. It's so sweet like honey, the sweetest lips, it's like. It's like I already tasted it before. The heat of her body. The smell. And the sound of her moan. And the way she kissed back from my kisses. Everything was familiar to me. That girl six years ago.
'Is it possible?'
I felt like a fool while walking around inside my office. I also suddenly smiled because I remembered that kiss. I was still holding my lips, I was still closing my eyes. I can still feel her lips on me.
'Sh*t!' Suddenly I felt hot, my slacks suddenly tightened. So I was even cursing myself. My pet is getting angry. I just gasped.
I tried to dismiss what had happened in my mind but I was disappointed. Because I can't work properly. I just gasped and sighed.
'Shakeera... Who really are you? Why do I have this feeling towards you? Are you that woman? Sh*t! F*ck sh*t! You didn't become one of my fling and you didn't even know me too, it just only meant one thing.'
I said softly to her name. I really need to know. Then an idea popped up in my mind. That's right, and then I'll interrogate her and let her tell the truth when I find out.
I tried to get my work done. I just smiled the way I thought. I will first find out about her son.
'I have a strong feeling for that boy. It must be a father instinct that they said, I guess.'
I immediately picked up my phone and called the person who could help me. Just a few more rings he answered my call immediately.
"Hello Michael, come back here to my office right now. Yes, I need your help. ASAP. Thank you. Bye." I did not let the person I was talking to speak, I turned off my call after I told him what I meant.
And He arrived less than an hour later. "What's your problem bro why did you send me back here." He immediately asked me when he entered.
I took two plastic bags from the drawer that I was going to check. 
I took it earlier when he was with me.
"Here, and I want the result ASAP." I said as I handed him the plastic.
He immediately took the plastic and turned around.
"Live it to me, I'll let you know soon." He said before he disappeared from my sight.

SHAKEERA's POV
I still felt like a fool, not in my own self when my son and I returned to our department. 
"Sha are you ok? Did something happen, did Sir scold you? Did Sir get mad at you? What?" Marie and Kris approached me immediately with concern in their faces.
I think they noticed the buoyancy and like floating, not in my own mind. I just looked at them and just nodded.
'Yes, something happened and it was really embarrassing, I just kissed our boss.'
Suddenly the feeling on my face warmed up again. 
"She's a fine aunt, don't worry about her." My son answered them.
I was speechless, and suddenly shocked cuz my son saved me.
"Are you sure your mom is ok Shawn? She looks so pale. Did something happen? Did Sir scold her?" Kris still asked, as if there was still doubt.
"Yes aunt, she's really fine. Mom was just surprised." My son convinced them. My son is really good.
I took a deep breath before speaking. 
"Yeah I'm fine, I was just a little taken aback by my hurry earlier when I went to our boss office for my son. I thought he did something bad in our boss's office. I was very nervous earlier." I explained with a forced smile.
They believed what I said. 
"Hey, we really thought that something had happened. You look like as if you don't have in yourself. You're still like an idiot and you look like your floating out of this world. Will It's good to hear your ok." She added.
"Ok come on, let's have our lunch." Marie is with me.
"Ahm Shawn and I are done already." I hesitantly said to them and I felt embarrassed as I told them. So they stared at me in astonished looks.
"You're done, where did you eat? Why didn't you call us? Let us come with you to join?" She asked, obviously sulking.
"Auntie, Uncle James invited us for lunch in his office." Shocked and wide eyes ot the two while looking at my son because of what he said.
"Really?" The two said together. I just nodded. But suddenly they smiled. That sounds like teasing. So I just turned to them, and they suddenly laughed out loud.
"Now I know why you reacted like that before." Smiling, Kris said in her teasing tone.
"Oh, you two really don't know what you're thinking." I told them. I even stared at them. They just laughed at me again. Really crazy.
"Opsss, .. where do you think you are going huh?!" Marie stopped me when she saw me step towards my seat. "Start doing my work, why?" I asked in astonishment.
"Nuh ah! You're not going to start your work now Miss Shakeera Alacantara! You will still join us for lunch. Period! No more buts. Let's go." She said while dragging me out. Shawn is already held by Kris.
I laughed again at the two because of their behavior. I know why they pulled me, they just want to investigate me. They just want to get information on what happened earlier. I also know they will not stop me from asking.
My suspicion is correct. I was not really stopped by the ugliness of them. But I only told them about lunch. And they look like newborn mosquitos, they are still thrilled like teenagers.
I never told them about the kiss. It's embarrassing.

SOMEONE's POV
Angry face, gritted teeth and
Another pair of sharp eyes staring at a group of diners. Inside the cafeteria, that person could also hear what the group was talking about. And that 'Person' felt envy and jealousy again. Anger already ate the 'Person' system. So it made him even angrier.
And it almost shattered the glass he was holding.
"It can't be, I need to find a way. Nothing can hinder my plans. No way! No!" 'Person' added, 'Person' eyes glazed again. It looks like a fire.
'Person' suddenly smiled because of what he had thought. "Hmm, who should I prioritize? This is gonna be exciting.... 'Person' smile widened even more. Smiled like crazy. Because the idea came up in his mind.
