"Yes Miss Crisostomo, why are you still here? You can go now and get back to your department." Weakly but firmly Sir James said to her.
Gradually her smile disappeared. And she gave me another sharp look, before she came out. Silently.
I was still staring at the door she came out of. I was even surprised when Charry spoke.
"Ignore her Ate Sha." She's smiling as she said it to me.
"It's ok, I'm already used to her. I was always teased and raised an eyebrow by her, every time we met." I said here, I was a little amused by what I said.
But I did not say that It's different now. It's like she's going to eat me alive. And if the stars could kill, I'm already dead. I would have been shocked earlier, I didn't expect her.
"But I don't like the way she looks at you. There's something in it." I heard Sir James said it seriously.
"It's fine Sir, I'm used to her. She's always like that when she looks at me. Even though I don't know her reason, I just never mind her. She's really like that towards me." I said here.
He frowned at me. But I just ignored it. He sighed.
"Charry joined us." Later on he said to Charry who was staring at my face, particularly at my lips. She was still frowning, her gaze also shifted to the face towel I was holding with ice.
"Ate, what happened to your lips?" She added that she was still frowning.
'I'm Dead! Did I really say that she will ask? What can I say? This is all the fault of these men. If he can kiss, it 's like he wants to swallow my whole mouth! Is it that obvious?'
"Ahm, I was just out of balance when I got up earlier so I bump here in the armrest of the sofa. Fortunately, it was soft so I was not that injured. But I feel it is swollen." I said suddenly.
She seems to believe it.
"Oh, it's a good thing you didn't sink on the floor, Ate Sha. If that happened, that might have hurt you more. Watch out for the next Ate. Anyways, where's my nephew?" She said with a slight laugh.
"He's sleeping inside the room, I caught them sleeping here on the couch." Sir James answered.
"Oh, is that so? Anyways, Welcome to the family Ate Sha. And congrats." Smiling, she said to me.
"Thank you Charry." I said shyly here. It made me smile.
"Don't be shy, Ate, we will not bite you. Only kuya can." She even joked to me that my cheek turned red.
'It's true that he can, there is evidence left on my lips.'
He laughed at my reaction.
"Ok enough girls, let's eat. Shakeera babe, you can invite your friends here they can join us. Since this is a celebration to our wedding last night." Sir said to me.
"Thank you." My face suddenly lit up when I heard what he said. I immediately picked up my phone to call them.
"I'll call Ate." Smiling Charry said to me and she stood up and went to Sir's table.
"Hello Mrs. Ramos, please tell Miss Sandoval and Miss Reyes to come up here at the CEO's office right now. Thank you."
She drops the phone immediately after saying this. Then she turned to look at me and smiled.
I smiled at her too.
"I just got the plates." I said then headed to the pantry area. I was picking the plates, fork and spoons. And also glasses, and I put them in the tray.
I was shocked when someone suddenly hugged my waist from behind. I almost let go of my grip. He even pressed his face to my neck and smelled it.
"I'm sorry babe." Later on he said it. I just didn't say a word. He sighed before speaking again.
"And babe please, call me by my name ok?" I feel stiffened because he put a kiss on my neck.
I can't even move anymore. It was as if I had been stabbed in my position. I suddenly felt hot again. It was as if electricity were flowing through my body.
My knees suddenly softened. I just hugged myself while holding his arms. I can not control myself anymore.
I just closed my eyes. And savor the warmth of its body.
"Ok." I say it softly.
"Thank you babe. Let me." He said cheerfully, and a quick kiss on my cheek. Before letting go, he took the tray and left. I just stared at the door it came out of.
'Why do I feel this way about him? Am I inlove with him? Do I love him already?'
"HEY!!! You woman! Looking like an idiot there, what's up huh?" I was even shocked when Marie suddenly shouted at me. She already went inside with Kris.
"If you can shout at me, it's as if I was in another building. And I'm not a deaf so you need to shout loudly." I told her and I gave her a sullen look at once.
"Not deaf? My God Sha!" Kris said.
"Eh, we've been talking to you here a while ago. You look like a statue that Sir constructed there! If Marie hadn't shouted at you, you wouldn't have remained silent. I would have hit you if you hadn't moved there, what! It seems that your soul came out with Sir James. Oh maybe, something --- OMG! What happened to your lips?! Don't tell me that you hit it, I won't believe you Sha. Oh My God!!!!" She said again. That her eyes are still widening. And the lunatic is still thrilled. She was even slapping Marie on her arm. It was as if she's going to collapse because of extreme trembling.
"OUCH! What are you Kris? You really stopped being very sadistic when you shuddered. I'm sure I have a lot of bruises because of what you are doing to me, you woman." Marie complained about what Kris did.
"Because, look oh?" She said and was still trembling while pointing at my lip.
"Eh, so what if Sha's lips are swollen---" She suddenly stopped and stared into my lips with eyes open wide.
"OMG KRIS!!!!!" And she screamed extremely, she even held Kris' shoulder and shook it even more.
I covered my ears. It was as if my eardrum was about to explode, by the itching and screaming of these two.
"What happened here? Why are you screaming?" Sir asked me in surprise. He rushed to us with Charry. With worried faces.
Suddenly the two stopped squealing when they saw Sir enter. It was as if cold water was pouring down on them. I just laughed in my mind when I saw what they looked like. Just like they saw a ghost.
"Ahh, because they miss me, so this is how these two react. I'm sorry for the noise." I told him then hesitated to smile here.
"Is that so?" Still seems he didn't believe it when he said it to me.
"Yeah. Right girls?" I said then I turned my gaze to the two.
"Yes. Right, we miss you so much!" The two immediately said at the same time and they hugged me.
"Ok, then. Let's go babe I'm hungry. The food is waitting." He said that he was holding me in my waist.
I saw that the two covered their mouths in shock again, for them to stop from screaming. I just widened my eyes to them. The lunatics are still struggling. Still holding back the laughter screen.
"I'm just going to wake Shawn up." I told him then went to a room, where now my son is sleeping.
"Shawn son, you're awake, your Papa is waiting for you. He's out. You wake up, son." I whispered softly to my son. I did not fail to wake him up. He immediately opened his eyes.
"Mama," He said while smiling at me. He immediately hugged his arm around my neck. Obviously still sleepy, so I just carry him.
"Your heavy now son." I told my son. He leaned his head on my shoulder facing my neck.
"I Love you Mama." He said in a husky bedroom voice.
"Love you too Shawn." I said softly to him as well.
"Oh, let me." I heard Sir say as we were about to leave the room. He quickly approached us and immediately took Shawn from me. I am no longer protesting.
"Papa." My son said enthusiastically, he suddenly lost sleep. I just smiled looking at the two of them.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, son." I heard him say this to my son.
"It's ok Papa, no worries." My son said quickly.
"Hello little boy!" The two even duet on the greeting of my son.
"Hi aunts." Still smiling, my son said to my friends.
"Hey! You're going to start without me? No way!" The door suddenly opened and Mike entered immediately. He immediately approached us.
"Will anyways, congrats bro sorry I didn't attend your wedding last night. Best wishes to the newly wed." As he said again. My friend's eyes suddenly widened again in shock.
