Chapter 63: Lance
**“When sex involves all the senses intensely, it can be like a mystical experience.”-Jim Morrison.

I wake up and to an empty bed. Karma is gone. The side of the bed she was on was cold, very cold. I went out to find her. When I got up, I realized I was only wearing boxers. Not caring, I left the room. I stop as soon as I enter the sitting room. There, on the pull-out couch, are Jake and Dell entangled in each other. And I am sure they are fully naked.
If anyone told me I would see the aftermath of Jake fucking a dude, I would not believe them. As I walked around the rest of the room to find Karma. She was not where in sight. I want to worry, but I know she did not leave. She has no money to leave the country. I ordered breakfast for the four of us. Wherever she is, she might be hungry.
“You are up early”, I heard Jake say.
“It is not early”, I said.
“It is early to be up after the night you and Karma had”, he said, standing next to me as I watched the scenery out the window.
“Do you know where Karma is?”, I asked, nipping the rose in the bud. I do not want to talk about the amazing night Karm and I had.
“Nope, but I heard the door close earlier. She could not have gone so far, she has no money. Are her clothes still here?”, he asked, and I nodded.
“I hope she doesn’t regret anything that happened last night”, I said.
“What happened last night?”, Jake asked.
“We had sex, but it felt like more than sex”, I said, exhaling a breath.
“So, is it safe to say that you know for a fact that you were inside her?”, Jake asked giggling.
“Yes, I was balls deep in her ass. And I remember all of it”, I said.
“And what of Kay?”, he had to ask.
“Kay and I contract will still stand. It is funny because while I was inside of Karma I thought of Kay as well”, I said, shaking my head.
“Damn, bro, you have it bad”, he said lowly, laughing.
“What of you and Dell?”, I asked.
“Dell is an amazing guy, you know. I have never had a relationship with a man before. But for him I am willing to give it a try”, Jake said, glancing at a sleeping Dell.
“Good don’t hurt him. Karma might kill us both”, I said with a smile.
“By the way, how did it go with your father?", yup, that’s Jake fucking up a moment by asking questions.
I told him about the only clause I could find. He wanted to ask some questions and I stopped him. I continue to explain to him if I get someone pregnant or if Susan gets pregnant on one of her one-night stands again. I will be home free, but Susan has gotten so many abortions that I am not even sure she can get pregnant again.
“So, are you planning to get Karma or Kay pregnant?”, Jake asked.
“So that is the solution you have?”, I asked, shaking my head.
“Yes, what are the other options besides your father going bankrupt? And besides, you might have gotten Karma pregnant before we left America”, Jake said, and I wanted to punch him.
“I did not impregnate anyone”, I said, gritting my teeth.
“Well, all I am saying is you have two women who might let you impregnate them. You can make an offer to Kay. "Something like a surrogate offer”, Jake suggested.
“I need to figure this shit out. Although I might just call off the engagement. My father mentioned that my mother has more money than she let off”, I said.
“Just ask her”, he said, and that is when we heard the door open.
“I will have my private investigator to find out”, I said.
Room service walked in and behind him was Karma. She is wearing an almost see-through dress. She has bags in her hand as well as coffee. She looks at me and smiles. Damn her smile, it can make any man weak in the knees. I took a deeper look at her. She is wearing white wedges, a wheat-colored sun hat, and glasses.
“Food yay”, Dell said with a sleepy smile.
“Where have you been?”, I asked.
“I was out getting breakfast”, she said with a shrug.
“That is what room service is for”, Dell said, getting up still naked and going to hug Jake.
“Okay, Dell, I need you to put some clothes on please”, Karma said with a smile.
“Karm, where did you get the money from?”, I asked.
“My accounts have been unfrozen. Thank you so much Lance”, she said, then hugged me.
“Which café did you go to?”, Jake asked.
“Some hole in the wall. One of my favorite travel television shows said the best places to eat in another country is where the locals go”, she said with a shrug.
Karma unbagged the food. She has French toast, if we can call it that here. Ham, egg, cheese croissants. Chocolate, pistachio, sweet cheese croissants. A lot of fruit is dressed in orange honey. We all ate together after Dell came back fully dressed, of course. I realized Karma was looking at her tablet.
“Girl, what are you doing?’, Dell asked.
“I am looking at our schedule for today. Lance, you have no personal meetings or otherwise. The only thing you have on your schedule is to visit your burlesque club”, Karma said.
“Which one?”, Jake asked.
“La Danse Taquine”, I said.
“Oh, my goodness! Lance, you own La Danse Taquine!”, Dell squalled loudly.
“So, you heard of it”, I said.
“Yes, it is the most exclusive club in the city”, Dell said, smiling from ear to ear.
“Have you been Dell?”, Jake asked.
“No, it is hard to get in”, Dell said with a pout.
“What do you mean hard to get in?”, Karma asked.
Dell explained to us that reservations are hard to get. I am aware that a person can reserve seats. I was not aware of what he said next. He said it is rumored that some people reserve about ten seats and sell them off to people for two hundred dollars. Damn they, not playing, not even charging Euros but American dollars. I do not like it. The club only seats fifty people per night per week. But on weekends, the club seats one hundred people.
“How do you know about this?”, I asked.
“I had a deal to buy one of the tickets. But that deal fell through because someone offered the guy more”, Dell said.
“How about we limiting the reservation to two people? And no more than two have to be of the same party. Also, no one should get seated until their full party is waiting with them. There should be a fifteen-minute grace period before the table is given up to people on a waiting list”, Karma said.
“I agree, type it up and send it to me. I will send it to all of my clubs. This will be the new reservation policy”, I said.
“I think there should also be a text reminder sent out two hours before arrival. If none of the parties confirm, then their seat will be lost”, Jake said.
“I like that idea that the waiting list should be available online to sign up”, Dell said with a smile.
Karma typed all we talked about. Everyone has a point. Yes, all of my clubs are exclusive. But I would be damned if someone profited off its exclusiveness. I never thought of having a waiting list. I am glad Karma suggested it. I am still thinking about making her an employee.
