Chapter 30: The Bargain

Trying to hide what she had been putting into the food or cup or what it was she was trying to poison
"I saw you," Augusta said moving close to Angela holding the wolf bane in hand she had studied from a book what it meant to put wolf bane in a pregnant witch's food or drink.
It could lead to blindness, and also she could die.
Wolf bane and some other mixtures she was still trying to learn about so she could establish her position but damn this old woman just had to reappear from nowhere today and come here.
"No one is going to believe you," Angela said crossing her arms around her chest but when Augusta began laughing and brought out the phone on how she had recorded the evil she was doing she became a seed because if Mason got to see this, he gave her one last chance meaning if he saw this that was the end of her.
"Please don't show Mason that video he is going to deal with me please!" Angela said.
Hearing the pleading in their voice of Angela it was a bingo check as this was what they wanted she and her group had wanted a loophole to get into the Green packhouse, even more, Augusta wanted to infiltrate the entire household and if anyone was going to be hurt more it would be Mason although she planned on using the pleasant nosy Mate of his quo had been slowly and meticulously watching her every move, she was still looking for a way to handle the Snoopy Aurora meanwhile Angela was here.
"Let's make a bargain, keep my secret and I keep yours, you shall work under me yet pretend to know nothing about me, and then from there you would meet my other counterparts, do we have a deal or not?"
Angela sat there on the couch she had been directed to which meant everything was making sense to her as she makes recounted the events and finally came to a conclusion about who has indeed fewer the prisoner they were keeping.
"How can I trust you would keep your word?" she asked skeptically about this decision she was about to take with this woman she knew nothing about.
"Do not worry I have people who are going to keep you in the know and also protect you from any harm if that's what you are scared of " she assured her.
"What if all these backfire what do we do I cannot lose the love of my life," she said in one go.
What a dumb girl, she looked smart but I could never believe she was this dumb, how can she think that she would be chosen by Mason when the plan was to kill him? That was pretty funny but the pretty face here was not going to know that.
"So your pack has something of mine which I want back at all cost and in return, ill try to make sure Mason becomes yours, is that okay?" she asked and once Angela had nodded her head that was enough for her to know she had won the bargain.
"Now if I were you, I would hide that wolf bane because if you are right you would be hurt terribly," he said and took her to leave not without telling Angela to meet her up at her room every midnight so she could be drilled on how things were going to be carried out.
"And that was a way to make sure Aurora paid for ceasing her loveable and cherishable man Mason," Angel said excitedly as they had been at loggerheads ever since their first encounter so this was her one chance and one kiss would be all it takes to make Mason fall in love with her all over again.
But this Augusta of a woman who was she, because she was always one to be in her room since she came here, and now she states the pack has something of hers which she was going to help out in taking back, it was exhausting to think of it but she had to open up an investigation on Augusta the woman had a lot of super suspicious things and also she was walking straight just a few minutes aback but when she was in the midst of many she could barely stand up properly.
Okay, this needed to be investigated in the letter.
It was almost midnight and as planned she went into her bedroom first to take a bath before she headed to Augusta's room after she was done with the meeting going out of the room she was met by Aurora who was on her way to the top of Augusta since she had felt her presence she wanted to find out if she had succeeded in finding her daughter as she has said and how she was doing...
"What are you doing here?" Aurora asked Angela who was in some sort of haste to leave that she has not noticed she had hit Aurora.
"I came to check up on Augusta "she replied swiftly without any fear or suspicion in her look but Aurora was going to look into that.
" And how did you know she was back?" she asked
"I was in the sitting room when she entered the pack house " Angela replied.
"Ehm Angela, it would be appreciated if you add the appropriate title to my name like any other pack member only the Beta and my mate have the luxury of addressing me without including the Luna into today?" she stated firmly.
"Have I made myself clear?" she asked and pushed further for the response to be gotten.
"Yes, I have heard you my Lu.....Lu...she took in a big sigh...Luna!" she replied with so much difficulty in her voice.
"Very good, now go," Aurora said and continued into Augusta's room and met the old woman asleep but her room window was opened and that was in no way safe as enemies could crawl in except otherwise she was the crawler.

The entire pack was extremely quiet as everyone was probably in their rth dream.
Augusta got up to reopen the window Luna had closed when she entered the room, she could not sleep with her window closed as she always had to make sure it was open for those who brought information and those she was working with to bring the downfall of Mason.
As she opened the window, Alphonso and Damon were standing right there she was just in time for their usual meetings at night.
"The last attack was a tragedy and I don't think I loved the outcome of the last fight we had, we seemingly lost almost all of our warriors if we did not take the initiative of falling back and coming for reinforcement, Damon I thought you were training these guys perfectly what happened, and almost all of us were wounded we've got to think of a new strategy that would help us to overthrow and take over this pack with ease, sis I make myself clear?" she said all in one go.
"Your viciousness, I was training them but then I began falling back when we has to look for some girl for the vampire blood bank and there is this one girl whom I haven't seen in two months now she was seemingly special and could be of great help but she seemingly disappeared and could not be traced to any place and anywhere" Damon replies her looking stressed and confuse as to how they could have lost so many warriors because of one bad move. That was to show that from all indications she was their main leader and she was the one who had initiated all the plans but the fact that this time they did not plan properly.
"I've got this girl Angela on our side now she is going to help with the pertinent details we need she seems to be at loggerheads with luna because of Mason and she has a lot of issues found on. By the way, she cannot rat us out if that is what you are thinking she has a secret that she would not want out because her love for Mason can't let her see him mad at her, so we would use her to our advantage and when aw get our revenge she has no use for us we shall kill her least she comes back for revenge or something " is that clear everyone?" she asked Alphonso who had not talked or said anything since they were there stated the plans were all good and he needed fo return to his pack because an issue has come up.
They closed their meeting and she went to sleep closing the window once more so as not to cause any suspicions should in case The Luna showed up early.
