Will you pls stop it and listen to me for a minute? He will not do anything wrong. He is Rohit, Rahul's younger brother. "



" What?? " Rohit winked at her.



"Why didn't you tell me? " She was embarrassed now.



" I would have told you, if you had given me a chance. You were too angry to hear what I was telling. Anyways let me now introduce you two, formally. "



" Rohit, she is my best friend, Sia and Sia, he is Rohit, my brother- in- law."



Rohit grinned at her and said, " Hi Sia... Very nice to meet you. "



" Hello ! I am sorry, I thought…"



" I know what you thought. But I am glad that Priya has such a good friend, who is ready to fight with a stranger for her. "



" Thanks, she told me that Rahul ji was not here and I knew what happened that day, so I... Sorry again."



" Don't be sorry, I enjoyed our banter a lot."



I hugged Sia and said, " You are such a sweetheart, thanks for your support. Now let's all go home as I am very tired and have to study too. "

She nodded and said bye to us. We all came to the car parking. She went towards her car and I towards ours but it was locked, so I looked at Rohit to tell him to unlock.



But he was still looking at Sia and was totally lost. Hmmm, now we will get the chance to tease him. I smiled and said, " Rohit where are you lost? Please unlock the car. What are you doing? "



" Ya coming..." He came towards the car but still kept looking for her. Then he unlocked the car and we sat inside. He started driving towards our home and asked me, " She is cute, right? I mean she was so concerned about your safety. Is she in your class?"



" Yes " He was expecting more information but I am not giving any.



" So, how is she like as a friend? I mean… You know what I am saying, right?"



" Wrong, Rohit I am not sure what you are saying. " I started teasing him.

" Ok... Since how long have you known her?"



" 5 years "



" Wow, that's great !! So you must be knowing everything about her? "



" Hmm, I think so..."



" So, Does she have someone special in her life?"



" Why are you asking that? " I asked, raising one of my eyebrows.

we reached home and I rushed inside. He called my name, but I said, I need to go to washroom.



Yes, it is the time to pay back, dear brother-in-law. He has always teased us.

When I went downstairs again, mom and Rohit were having tea. I took out some Theplas for everyone to eat and a cup of tea for myself. We all enjoyed them. Mom asked me, "How was your day?"



" It was good, mom. "



" Thank God !! I was a bit worried. "



" You need not worry mom, she has a bodyguard there." He said and I giggled at that comment.



" What does that mean Rohit? " mom asked and he related everything to her. She also burst out laughing. Poor Rohit…



The competition was on the next day, so I had an early night and got up the next day, early in the morning, with my phone ringing. I picked up the phone.



It was Rahul. He told me that the meeting was good and asked me about my dress rehearsal. I told him that it went well. He wished me luck for my competition today. I had to get ready for the competition and reach my college early today so I said bye and went to take a bath.

I reached college and we got ready with costume and makeup. Then we all proceeded to the university auditorium which was the venue for the competition.

My parents, Mom, dad and Rohit everyone was here to cheer for me.



The competition started and we were very excited. Two groups were supposed to perform before us and after that, we had our performance. We all were set to give our performance. The anchor announced our college's name and we all went to the stage to perform.



The music started and we all danced very well. It was a marvellous performance, the audience gave us a loud round of applause. We bowed down and came backstage. Our teachers were very happy. We all were very excited and went to change. As I was returning from the changing room, I saw a man standing there. He seemed familiar but I couldn't recognise him.



" Hello Priya, how are you? It seems you didn't recognise me. I am Anuj, Rahul's friend. We met that day at the hotel. So how is your married life?"



" Oh, yes now I recognise you. We are good, how are you? How come you are here?"



" My sister is participating in this competition as well so I am here to support her."



" That's great please wish her luck from my side."



" How do you feel being married to a man, who doesn't even love? He was madly in love with Leena. What is the use of being married to a man, who doesn't even care about you? "



" Why are you saying all these things to me? Rahul is your friend, right? You should not talk about him like this. "



" Well, he is my friend, but I am your well-wisher. I think you should divorce him and get married to some other guy because he can't love you, the way he loved Leena. "



" It is none of your business, and he was in love with Leena, but that doesn't mean he still is. "



" You are so naive and innocent. Leena was a very hot girl and everyone knew that they were almost inseparable."



" Whatever it was, but she's gone. She is not here anymore. "



" But what will happen, when she comes back? She will claim him back. What will you do then, Priya? Why don't you divorce him and find some other nice guy and get married to him."



" I don't want to talk to you please leave."

" Awww, It seems you don't believe me. Shall I show you how much they were in love? Well, I have a few pictures of them. I'll show them to you." He said smiling and showed me a picture. Rahul was with a very beautiful girl. They were in each other's arms and looked very happy.



I was upset, but I didn't want Anuj to know about it, so I started walking but he held my hand to stop me and said, " Give it a thought, Priya. You have no future with Rahul. You are just wasting your time and emotions on him. The moment Leena will be back, he will go back into her arms. Don't be a fool, think about yourself."



" Shut up!! just shut up and leave me alone. I don't want to listen to anything from you, you are lying please leave me alone." I was on the verge of crying. The thought of losing Rahul was making me insane.



He was smirking at me and I was trying to get my hand free from his grip. Just then Rohit punched him hard.



He fell on the ground. Rohit punched him again and Anuj's lip got a cut.

" How dare you touch, Priya? What were you doing? Are you alright Priya?"



I just nodded and my tears started falling. Rohit hugged me and asked me, "What happened Priya? What was he saying? Why are you crying? I am here, don't worry. Please tell me what happened? "



Rohit was very angry with him, he started going towards Anuj again to beat him. But I caught hold of his hand and said " Nothing, I want to go from here." I didn't want him to have a fight with Anuj, so I didn't tell Rohit anything.



Anuj started laughing, " Oh you must be special both the brothers are very protective towards you."



Now Rohit was out of control and he started beating him, " How dare you talk like this about her? Yes, she is special to us. She is his wife and my sister and I swear, I would kill you, if I see you anywhere near her. "



He then caught my hand and led me towards the parking. He made me sit in the car and give me a cold bottle of water. He sat in the driving seat and asked me, " What was he saying to you?? Please tell me. I want to know, what was he saying? Why were you crying?"



I told him everything, he listened carefully and said, "You don't worry Priya, Rahul is my brother, I know him better than Anuj. Rahul does not love Leena. He was never in love with her and I think he is falling for you. Please, don't pay heed to anything Anuj said, he is just jealous. Rahul is not in love with Leena. She cannot claim him back. Trust me."
