" Priya is a very pretty and sensible girl. We can see that you are in love with her. We are happy for you. Thank God !! That Leena did not turn up for your wedding day. She was a gold digger." Said Vikram and all the others also nodded.



Mehul said, " He always wanted to have Priya in his life, but he felt guilty of his feelings as she was almost like family. I still remember how he used to control his emotions. He even pretended to ignore her though she has always been the centre of his universe. "



" Then you must thank Leena, for doing what she did." Said Gautam with a grin.



Sagar looked at me and winked. "You are besotted, bro. " I smiled.



She was with Sia and Megha. They were talking and giggling. It was such a beautiful sight.



Gautam asked," Who are those two other girls?" Everyone else looked at them. The one on Priya's left side is, Sia... her best friend and another one is Megha, Mehul's family friend." Everyone looked at Mehul and he stiffened.



"Wow Mehul !! She is beautiful. Are you by any chance interested in her?” Gautam still looking at Sia.



" No, I am not… " He said too quickly. Something was not right and it was related to Megha.



" That's great !!! Now please introduce us to her." Said Gautam. Mehul glared at him and left from there.



" What's wrong with him man? " said Vikram. I patted on his shoulder and said, " I will go and talk to him. " I went after him. He went outside the hall into the balcony. I caught his arm and turned him. His eyes were red and he was furious. I had never seen him like this.





I was about to ask him when Sia came running and was almost on the verge of crying.



" What happened Sia? Why are you looking so alarmed? " I was really worried.



" Please come, Priya is calling you. Rohit is very angry. He is having a very heated argument, with a man." She pointed towards them.



I saw that Anuj was there and Rohit was punching him. They were in a corridor near washrooms. Priya was standing near Rohit, trying to stop him from fighting but he was outrageous.



Mehul caught Anuj and I caught Rohit. It was really difficult to control Rohit. I asked him, " What's going on Rohit? Why are you so angry and what is Anuj doing here?" I was confused and getting angry with every passing second.



" Anuj I think I told you to stay away from us, what are you doing here? " I shouted.



" What?? I got an invitation from you, I am here because I was invited. " He said, touching his jaw with his palm where Rohit had punched.



"It was a misunderstanding, my PA sent all the invitations, I didn't. Now, you better leave." I was trying to control Rohit, he was unmanageable. I had never seen him like this.

He got himself free from my grip and started punching and kicking him again. " How dare you come here? How dare you talk to her? How dare you come near my sister? How dare you touch her with your filthy hand? Now get lost before I kill you, never show your dirty face to us again."



I was red with rage by now, was Anuj trying to talk to Priya? Did he touch her? I would kill him.



I rushed towards him but Mehul caught me very tight and told Sia to call security. I was trying to get out of his grip but Rohit also held me as he knew that I get mad when I am angry. So he was trying to solve everything on his own, he didn't want me to know anything. He would not have told me anything, it just came out of his mouth in a fit of anger.



Anuj got up from the floor and his nose was bleeding and his lip was also cut. He pointed towards me and said, " I will see you later, Rahul. You were supposed to marry Leena, but married Priya. I saw you at the airport, you were hugging each other and now you pretend to be in love with Priya. You want to have a girl in both arms. Wow!! great man, I was just trying to show her that she deserves better than you. You are still in love with Leena and have a relationship with her. "



" That's not true, I am not in love with Leena. I never was and I'm not two-timing Priya." I shouted.



" I have proof to prove my point. I have pictures of both of you, at the airport, hugging and kissing each other and this picture was clicked just 2 days back." He just showed it to Priya and Rohit.

Priya saw the pictures and I saw that she clenched her teeth a bit and said, " My relationship with my husband is none of your business, whether he's in love with me or Leena. If I love him or not, whether it is a marriage of convenience, whether we deserve each other or not. All this is none of your business. If I ever see you anywhere near me within 10 metres I will file a complaint against you, that you are following me, you tried to touch me and you misbehaved with me. So just stay away from me and my family otherwise you will pay for it. I didn't care if he had an affair with her and got married to him. That's none of your bloody business. Stay away. Just then the security came and called the police. I was just too shocked to react. I saw the way Priya gulped her anger and pain and said those things. I hurt her.



Mehul and Rohit were trying to shake me back to normal. I said," It was not as it looked like. I was at the airport, when she suddenly came in front of me and she hugged me tight and then she kissed me. I was shocked for a min and then pushed her away, but she was very persistent, she was forcing herself on me. I pushed her away again and I told her, not to ever show her face to me. She humiliated me in front of so many people by eloping. How can I fall in love with her?? How can I be with her? You all know, that I had feelings for Priya... I never had feelings for Leena and she betrayed all of us in front of so many people. He is lying… when she was trying to kiss or hug me at that time Anuj must have taken the photographs. I know photographs are there but it's not what it was like."



Mehul hugged me and said, "I know you are not lying. I trust you completely. You are in love with Priya even an idiot can see that." And Rohit nodded at it.



I love Priya, I think I have always loved her. And now I hurt her.



" But, will she trust me?? She was sweet enough to marry, a jerk like me who always ignored her. I never even looked at her, never ever looked in her direction. I have always avoided her like plague, yet she married me to save our family name. She married me because she was worried about dad's health. She is an angel, she doesn't even love me and still, she got married to me." I said. Then I looked at Rohit.



" And when did Anuj meet Priya and where? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked with my head bent.



" Yes, she will Bhai. She may be hurt or angry at the moment, it may take time but she will. " said Rohit.



I looked at him with hope, "Do you think so Rohit? " He nodded and said,

" I know, she will, but it might take time as she is hurt. Anuj met her at University, on the day of her competition and said all these things to her about you. I caught him and had a fight with him. I even gave him the warning to stay away from her. Bhai it is high time that you tell her about your feelings. "



" I will tell her but... "



" Trust me bhai, I know..." He stopped all of a sudden and I had a feeling that he understands her more than me. He knows something which I ought to know.



" Why do I have this feeling that you know something which I am unaware of? " He smirked and shrugged.



" That is not my story to tell. Find it for yourself. " He left the room and joined the party. What does that mean now?



I asked Mehul, " What did he mean by that?" But he was as unaware as me. We went back to the party. It was a bit late but most of the people were enjoying food and drinks.
