Chapter 11

Kayla
Kayla was happy again. Even her mother noticed when she came to pick her up.
"I take it that you're beginning to really like this school" Mitchel said
"You could say that" Kayla said, smiling
"I'm glad," Mitchel said and gave her a smile.
It was all because of Lucas. Kayla's day was dampened when he suddenly started to ignore her but he had finally spoken to her. She couldn't be happier.
She was beginning to think that he was a real asshole. But it turned out that he was not. She remembered how she felt standing so close to him today. All the hairs on her body seemed to stand on end and she could literally feel the current flowing between them. She really wanted to kiss him too and she could tell that he felt the same with the way he kept looking at her lips like he was about to eat her up.
She had called him out on it and she smiled at how uncomfortable her question had made him. It was like there was something pulling her to him as she stared at him. And his eyes, oh gosh his eyes, she got totally lost in them and it took some effort to pull herself from it and stand up. If he had such an effect on her, then it would be difficult to stay sane in his presence. She imagined what would happen if both of them were left alone in a place. She thought of all the dirty sexy things that could happen and moaned but then realized that her mother was right by her side.
And she wouldn't even want to get started about his smile. When Lucas had smiled at her, her heart had stopped beating and she almost lost her balance. He had the most dazzling smile she had ever seen on anybody. It really was so beautiful.
"Why are you smiling, honey?" Mitchel asked, glancing at her and looking amused. Kayla blushed bright red. She hadn't realized she was smiling
"Hem.. nothing" she said quickly
Mitchel whistled
"You sure it isn't a boy?" Mitchel asked, still smiling naughtily
"I told you it was nothing," Kayla said. She was so red with embarrassment she thought she would explode.
She realized then that she was already smitten with Lucas. It was good that he had corrected the stunt he pulled. She hadn't thought that she would be able to confront him so directly but her mouth had a mind of its own.
He had offered to drive her home and she really wanted to accept his offer but she didn't want to seem desperate. It was better to show him that she still had some reservations about what he did.
She should call him when she gets home. Shit, Kayla realized that she didn't even have his number. He hadn't collected her number the day before and she didn't have his as well. There was no way she could reach him unless she waited till the next day. What a bummer, Kayla said to herself.
She knew what she had to do. She was going to look him up online on her computer when she got home. She knew that that was stalking but she didn't care. Everyone does it but they just don't admit it. She had to know more about him. She wanted more of him.
He was probably going to be in her dreams tonight. She hopes that he touches her in all the right places. She smiled but quickly straightened her face as she realized that her mother was driving beside her and probably watching her from the corner of her eyes.
She was suddenly glad that she had come to Hill City. She hadn't expected to find someone that she would really like so soon but she had and he was gorgeous.
Mitchel got home and parked in the driveway. Natalie got out of the car and walked into the house. She was going through the drive back to work while Kayla would go in the house. She waved to Mitchel and she drove back out into the road.
Kayla walked into the house and went up to her room. She dropped her bag down on her bed. She sat at her desk and typed in 'Lucas Gray' on Google. She was surprised at what she saw. She had no idea that Lucas's father was a famous business magnate. He has properties all over Hill City and beyond. Gray's enterprise was one of the biggest real estate agencies in the country. They must be stinking rich. No wonder Lucas was driving a car like that. The article she was reading about them showed that Duke Gray keeps a low profile and didn't really like to make a lot of public appearances.
Lucas has a brother too. She had no idea that he did. His name was Derrick Gray and he had a darkness about him. In the picture they had both taken with their father and mother, Derrick was looking straight into the camera. He was not smiling and Kayla had a feeling as if he was looking directly into her soul.
She tore her eyes from the picture and looked at Lucas. Lucas was smiling and he looked like a total darling. Kayla could only imagine how many girls would wish to have him for themselves. He was really good looking. Kayla's eyes went to Derrick's face again and she closed the page. She wondered what Lucas's relationship with his brother would be like. He looked anything but friendly. And he and Lucas didn't look alike in any way.
There was obviously something off about Derrick but Kayla did not know what it was.
Natalie lay on her bed and closed her eyes. She imagined Lucas's lips on hers and she moaned loudly this time. Mitchel was no longer here to hear her. She imagined him lying on top of her and kissing her. He would kiss her lips and her neck and work himself down to her nipples. She moved her hands to her breast and pressed hard. Then she imagined him inside of her and she felt warm and moist between her legs. She knew that when she fell asleep that night, he was going to be the only thing in her mind.
