Chapter 19

Lucas
Lucas had invited Kayla to the party on an impulse. He had been short of what to say and so he had invited her to the party. It wasn't like he didn't want her to come or anything, it was just that it was a frat party and his brother Derrick was going to be part of it. They both get invited to all the cool parties. Derrick was going to see him with Kayla and that would put her safety in jeopardy.
But he was tired of hiding her from the world. He wanted to be able to hold hands with her in broad daylight and to kiss her passionately to the envy of everyone. He wanted to ask her to date him. But he was a werewolf and she was human and they were not supposed to be. He would be asking too much of her.
He thought about the sex they had at school and smiled to himself. He had not thought that she would be up for it. They could have gotten caught but it was good that they didn't. Knowing that they were breaking the rules kind of made it even more fun. He hadn't been able to stop himself from thinking about her every moment since then. He could imagine how hot it was going to be at the party. They were both going to have such a good time and he couldn't wait.
He spent the night chatting with her and when he got to school the next day, he waited until her mother's car pulled up and Kayla came out. Then he went over to her and gave her a hug and then a kiss on the lips. He put his hand around her waist as he kissed her passionately. She put her arms around his neck as she responded with as much passion. Everything around him disappeared as they locked their lips together and when they eventually pulled apart, he was confused about where he was for a minute.
"I've missed you" he told her as he gave her a peck on her forehead
She giggled like a little girl
"I've missed you too" Kayla said
Lucas hesitated for a moment and then he held her hand and they both walked into the school building together.
They both gave each other a quick kiss and parted ways in the hallway as they had different classes that morning.
Lucas started to walk away after kissing Kayla but as he turned, he saw Derrick standing by his side leaning on the wall. He had a devilish smile on his face and he was staring at Lucas. Lucas wondered if he had seen Kayla. How long had he been there? It was so like Derrick to lurk in shadows unseen except when he decides to reveal himself.
Derrick's eyes shone mischievously as he assessed Lucas. Lucas stopped in his tracks and waited for Derrick to say something but Derrick said nothing. He just straightened himself up and walked away. Lucas released the breath he didn't know he was holding.
He had a deal with Derrick and he had won fair and square. That should be enough for Kayla to be safe but he knew that Derrick could not be trusted. He would have to watch over Kayla. He would have to protect her from Derrick.
He went off to his class still preoccupied with thoughts of Kayla. The rest of the day sped by and soon it was lunch time.
Lucas texted Kayla as soon as he was out of his class.
'meet me in the locker room' he said. It turned out he couldn't wait until Friday to have sex with her again
Kayla texted back almost immediately
'I might soon start to lose weight with all the lunch I'm missing' and then she put a laughing face emoji. He knew that she was just goofing around and actually would rather sacrifice lunch for a good time with him.
'I'm sure I'm feeding you more than enough' Lucas texted with a winky face emoji
Kayla laughed and said 'That's true though. 'Be right there' she texted
Lucas went off to the locker room. He already put a pack of condoms in his pocket. He went to the front of one of the mirrors and looked at himself and then ran a hand through his hair to arrange it. Then he cupped a hand over his mouth and breathed into his cupped hand. His breath smelled good enough. He felt like doing a couple of press ups but decided against it. He didn't want to be worked up before she even came in but he was feeling really energetic.
He soon heard quiet footsteps approaching and soon the door of the locker room opened and Kayla came in. He hugged her while simultaneously closing the door. He thought of bolting it but felt that it would be suspicious if someone were to walk in. They were just going to use one of the bathroom stalls and try to keep it quiet.
Lucas led Kayla inside one of the bathroom stalls and they closed the door. The space was wide enough that they could do what they wanted to do without rolling around.
They started to kiss passionately. Lucas moved his tongue expertly inside her mouth and heard her moan as he moved down to her throat. He put a hand inside her panties and fiddled with it. She moaned loudly and Lucas moved his hand up to cover her mouth. Kayla giggled naughtily and moved his hand back down.
She placed both of her hands on his shoulders as he lifted her up and pushed her against the wall.
Then they heard the door to the locker room open. The door was creaky and so they heard it as soon as it was opened
"Shh" Lucas said even though Kayla was already dead quiet. They heard heavy footsteps approaching and they both stood still with their hearts in their mouths. Lucas heard the footsteps pass their bathroom door to the other side of the locker room. He had started to hear sweeping before he realized that it was the janitor. But they both didn't dare to move. The janitor, an old man in his sixties was nosy as a lonely grandma and they knew that news of them would soon get round the school if he was to see them. They heard him opening the bathroom stalls and sweeping. Lucas wondered how long they would have to wait before he leaves. What if he opens their bathroom door and sees both of them.
"We should make a run for it" he said to Kayla who was still panting beside him.
"What! No, he'll see us" Kayla whispered nervously
"Yes, but he won't even know who we are. He would only see our backs and not our front and we can simply take off our jackets.
Kayla breathed quietly beside him. She seems to be contemplating what he said but he waited to see if she would agree with him.
"Okay" Kayla said after what seemed like forever" I have to put on my clothes' ' she said and that was when Lucas noticed that she really was out of her clothes. She was currently wearing only a pant and bra and the black gown she wore before was down at her feet.
"Okay" he said as he stepped a little away giving her space to dress up.
"Kayla quietly pulled up her gown and wore her jacket over it.
"Alright, are you ready?" Lucas asked her. He could see that she was a little panicked but she trusted him all the same. He didn't want her to get into trouble because of him. He didn't want either of them to get into trouble.
"Okay, I'm going to open the door now" Lucas said
"Wait, I can hear him" Kayla said and that was when Lucas noticed that he could hear the janitor's broom close to their bathroom stall
"It's now or never" he said to her
"Okay okay" Kayla said trying to steady her breathing.
"I'll count to three and then we dash out and don't look back until we're out of the door, okay" Lucas whispered to Kayla
"We can do this, okay?" He said as he noticed that she was nervous
"Okay" Kayla said
"Alright, here goes. One, two, three.. and they both dashed out of the bathroom stall and sprinted towards the door. Lucas had caught a quick glimpse of the startled janitor dropping his broom as they ran out. Kayla was right; he was already right in front of their bathroom stall and would have opened the door at any moment.
They ran until they got to the hallway and they both slowed down, panting and laughing. Somehow, even though they had almost just gotten caught, it had still been fun.
Lunch wasn't over yet and so Lucas turned to Kayla
"What do you say we get some food down our bellies" he said to her
"Yes please" Kayla said and then added "all that running is making me hungry"
And with that, they both walked into the cafeteria.
