Chapter 12

Mia's POV
It had been 2 months since the incident at Bianca's place. That slap made me realise to train myself harder. If I wanted to be a Warrior then I must work very hard for it
School was over and I was training full time now.
And yet again my handsome mate has vanished. He is gone for 3 days and I have no clue when he is coming back, but he better turn up today. Its his birthday tomorrow and we were going to his parents place today… hopefully!
'Don't worry he will come' Aya assured me
'Why do you always take his side?' I asked her
'Come on girl, we are all on same side' she said
'Whatever
I am getting ready for my training session with Killa. I went down in search of Christabel and Bianca. Bianca has joined training with us. Yes she is now aware of us and has accepted everything wholeheartedly. She also became member of the pack, by taking blood oath in front of Alpha. She swore for loyalty toward her mate and pack. She was now bound to Alpha's orders. And can you believe, Jace has already marked her.
What were we waiting for????
When she started staying at the pack house, she found something was not right here. She kept asking me questions.
'Why you all stay together, why are your parents not here?, How come all your cousins stay with their boyfriends and girlfriends? Why do you refer god as goddess?' I told Jace to tell her everything before she drives me crazy, and he exactly did that
I and Victor were watching movie after dinner, snuggling on the couch when there was a knock on the door
Victor was annoyed
"Why he has to always disturb us" he said getting irritated. He could smell Jace from anywhere
When I went and opened the door, as Victor had said, it was Jace standing at the door with goofy smile on his face
He came inside and hugged me tight
"Thanks Mia, thank you so much. I love you.
He said still hugging me
We heard a huge growl behind me. Jace let go off me and went to Victor
"Don't be jealous, I love you too" he said and kissed Victor on cheek. It was so funny. Victor pushed him aside
"Are you drunk" he almost yelled at Jace, wiping his cheek with his hand
" I am drunk in love, my dear friend" Jace said as if in trance.
"Please enlighten us, about your presence at this hour" Victor said crossing his arms on his chest.
"I told her everything, and she accepted me" Jace beamed.
I was shocked! I looked at Victor and he had the same expression on his face.
"And…I…marked her too." Jace said with same silly smile on his face.
"WHAT???" Both me and Victor said at once.
Killa told us to run 10 laps of the ground for warm up. As we were running, I was hit by the most amazing smell. Scent of my mate. He was back, I started looking around. I was so happy. Aya was jumping with joy. Soon I found he was running right beside me, our arms almost brushing. I looked at him, he gave me one of his sweetest smile, but I will not get affected by that. No. I looked away and started running ahead, leaving him behind.
He overtook me and turned around, running backwards. I checked him from head to toe. ok, no injuries this time. He smiled again at me. I sighed, how do I resist him. He looked so handsome and I missed him a lot. I can't remain angry with him. I smiled back at him, blushing, that made him smile wider. He winked at me and ran off turning around, towards the group of men training on the other side of ground.
I reached our room and heard Victor in bathroom, I too took a quick shower and started making breakfast for him. All his favorites, fried egg, bacon and waffles. He must have not had a decent food on his run.
I was almost done with making breakfast, when Victor came in kitchen still in just a towel around his waist. He hugged me from behind, resting his chin on my shoulder. Water droplets from his wet hair drizzling on me and there were sparks everywhere.
"I missed you" he said in husky voice, tightening his grip around my waist.
'Then why do you go away leaving me alone' I wanted to say but I know his just doing his duty.
"I missed you too" I said caressing his cheeks. That was so true. I had missed him like hell. It was just not possible for me to survive without him.
"Something is smelling delicious" he said lingering soft kisses on my neck,
"What?" I asked.
"Waffles, I think" he said with smile.
"Let's eat than" I said.
"Yes let's eat" he said giving a small bite at the nook of my neck where his mark will be.
I felt like a electic wave running through my body, it made me moan out loudly. My reaction aroused him, he turned me around to face him and crashed his lips on mine, kissing with full passion and need. He hands were exploring my body. He pulled me closer to him, I could feel his excitement on my thighs. I wrapped my arm around his neck kissing back to match his passion. We pulled apart to catch some air, going for it again and again and again. I don't know how long we were like this, he pulled away reluctantly.
"I can't wait any more" he said between his heavy breaths. I know what he meant.
"Aren't you getting naught warrior Kentucky?" I asked mischievously, changing the mood. He laughed at that.
"Can I have my breakfast atleast" he asked.
"Why don't you put on some clothes first" I said. Pushing him, he was tempting me with his sculpted body.
He smiled and went towards the bedroom. I arranged breakfast on table.
"So whats the plan for today" he asked while eating.
"Me, Christabel and Bianca are going for shopping and then I will go to cake shop. I have already packed our bags. I thought you won't be able to make it." I said.
"Hows that even possible. I promised you. Ok, I have meeting with Alpha and after that I will pick you up at 4. We will go straight to my parents place.
Its 2 hours drive from here. We will reach there by dinner were at the mall, I wanted to buy some gifts for his parents. I was so confused what to buy. I called up my mom and asked her, she suggested few things but I was not happy about it. Then I saw a very beautiful necklace on the window display. It was amazing, I thought of buying it for Victor's mom and to think of it, I should buy one for my mom too. I dragged Christabel with me in the shop.
"Where is Bianca" I asked Christabel.
"She was right here, where did she go?"
"We will search her later, how is this?" I asked her showing the necklace.
"Its beautiful, but it must be a bit expensive" she said. I was ok with it. I had saved enough money for the gifts. I bought two of them, one for my mom too. I bought exclusive wine for his dad. Hope they like my presents.
We went in search of Bianca, she was coming out from a tattoo parlor, beaming with joy.
She showed us her newly made tattoo. It was Jace's name written on side of her wrist with heart as dot on J . It was amazing, showing her love for her mate. I got the idea of my gift for Victor's birthday.
