Chapter 103: The Threat
"I didn't do anything, Marco. All I did was show her the truth."Marco Junior raised an eyebrow.
"Show her the truth? Emily Reyes, I don't know who the hell that man is in those pictures but I can guarantee it's not me. He may look like me, but he's not me."
Emily laughed, "Why are you in denial about us? Why can't you accept?"
That's when Marco Junior realized that no matter what he said, she wouldn't listen. She couldn't hear him. "I don't know what's wrong with you Emily, but you need to ask for help. I've never seen a girl so obsessed about a lie."
Emily closed her eyes, "There's nothing wrong with me, Marco. I know what reality is."
"Truth to you does not exist!" He stated, his tone becoming harsh.Emily licked her lips.
"She came between us. She's the reason you're doing this."
"What?"
"She's the one who's stopping us, Marco Junior." Emily said her tone cold. It drove Marco out. At first, she was giggling like a girl and now she was cold. Crispy.
He stared, saying nothing. He watched her eyes darken.
"You better do something about her before I do." She stated.
"Are you threatening Hershey's life?" Marco asked, furious now.
"I'm simply stating that I don't like to share and I will not share. Not with her, not any girl."
Marco Junior swallowed, "You're crazy. If I catch you anywhere near me or her I am calling the police. I will tell them what you just said."
Emily laughed evilly, "It's like they believe a man in a woman."
Marco stared at her, unable to believe what he was witnessing. Is this the real Emily Reyes?

Hershey threw the photo album at the door. She had been staring at that album for hours. All those pictures. Even though she wanted to cry, she didn't. She was confused. She felt the album was a lie, but there was no way she could prove it. These pictures were too much for her to ignore. Sighing, she stared at the wall, on the verge of tears but she couldn't get them out. Looking down at the ring still on her ring finger after three weeks of arguing over those pictures. She knew what was in his heart, that he had none of its pictures, but what she saw and felt were two different things. The only other possible explanation for these pictures is that they could be him or someone else who looks a lot like him. She didn't know which and wasn't sure, so she just waited.
Emily followed Hershey with a frown. The girl's daily routine consists of class, going to the library, and then going to town for some free time. It's surprising that she didn't notice that Emily had been following her for two days. Sighing, she followed Hershey as she entered the mall. She watched as the girl went to the food court and sat down. A book was released. Hershey rolled her eyes. With all the courage.
Hershey felt the girl's presence before she saw her. Looking up from her book, Hershey looked at a sad face. Raising an eyebrow, Hershey asked, "May I help you?"
"What is the name of the book?"
"Friend or foe." Hershey stated, staring up at the girl curiously. How did she know her? As if sensing this question, the girl cleared her throat, "I work at Victoria's Secret, remember?"
Hershey raised her eyebrows in recognition, "Oh yeah, how's it going?"
"Great."
The girl sat in front of her. She just stared at Hershey, her face blank. Hershey narrowed her brows, "Um...are you ok?"
The girl shrugged, "I'm sure I'll be fine."
Hershey's eyes slowly moved away from her book. "Well...actually..." the girl began. Hershey looked at her book. There was no doubt that her unknown enemy had brown eyes.
"I was wondering if there was anything you could do for me." The girl's vision found hers again. This time, letting Hershey see the brave cold in them."I want you to leave Marco Fernando Junior alone."
Statement of the girl staring at her. Hershey raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?"
The girl leaned forward, her face inches from Hershey's. "Remember those pictures that Jade showed you?"
Hershey felt butterflies in her heart. Now she remembered. Hershey licked her lips. "How am I interfering with you and Marco?"
"I'm with him now and you need to back off." Emily stated, her tone fierce.
Hershey raised an eyebrow and held up her hand, revealing the diamond band around her ring finger. "That's sort of ironic, since he also gave me the engagement ring."
This seemed to make Hershey three shades darker than her cream skin.
"What ever, it won't last long." She smirked. She came even closer to Hershey, to straighten her face, "I'll warn you just once. Stay away from him, because if you don't, a lot of hell will happen to."
Hershey cleared her throat, grabbed her book, and left the table, not commenting on what Emily said.
Emily stared at her with deep anger towards her.
Jade stopped outside Hershey's door. The last time she spoke to Hershey was at the beginning of December. Today, Christmas decorations are scattered everywhere, carrol after carrol is a song, as well as movies up to Adams about Santa Claus being shown on television. She was constantly reminded of what she had done to Hershey and Marco. If those photos weren't in her bag, they'd still be a couple. Sighing, she knocked on the door, three sharp taps. No answer. Another rapid succession of raps. Still no answer. She sighed, not blaming Hershey for not wanting to talk with her. Pulling her purse over her shoulders, she turned to leave the building. When she reached the stairs, Hershey was about to enter the building.
Hershey stopped walking. She looked at his friend. "Hi, Hershey."
"What do you want, Jade?"
"I want to apologize." She stated.
"Apologizing? For what?" Hershey folded her arms over her chest in defense.
"Sorry for showing you those photos. That's not my place."Hershey sighed, "You're right, it's not."
"But...I thought he was the one in those pics, Hershey. It's really him."
"And..."
"And...I believe I was wrong. I'm sorry."
Hershey sighed, "Okay, I forgive you for that. Now, I'm going to my room, it's cold out here." Hershey said, pulling her coat around her waist. She stood beside Jade and walked towards the door. Entering the code, she waited for the buzzer to sound and then opened the door.
