Chapter 39: Wrong Paper

Alexa stood up and needed to go. "Thank you so much again for talking to me today, but I have to leave."

Even Victor stood up too. "Be careful, and hopefully the story you're making now will be successful."

She smiled and walked away. "Something came into my mind for my next chapter, and I will write it all until the end," said Alexa, and she walked away from the park.

When she arrived and entered her room, she sat down in the chair and looked at the book. "It looks like I'll be writing for a few days, so I'll wash the clothes first, clean the house, and see if I have enough food stock so I won't be bothered anymore." She stood up again and prepared the clothes that needed to be washed. She also included Lexie's clothes that were still dirty.

Alexa hasn’t been able to write for almost two days, but her character in the book is confused about what’s going on, so while Alexa isn’t writing in the book, no one is in control of them.

This is what happened when Alexa did not write the book. Daniella, who still does what she used to do when she wants William to notice her, has a very different attitude than when Alexa writes the book, because Daniella's written attitude is brave but kind, but the opposite when no one controls it. Daniella is a childish student who can't defend herself because Bree is by her side, and she's always there whenever someone wants to fight Daniella. Charice, who should be in another country and not go home to where William is, said things that shouldn’t happen every time Alexa writes. This means that Alexa's chosen characters in the book will already know each other.

Alexa is still almost tired of the general cleaning of the whole house, but she wants to finish her story and try to apply again, because she feels that it will be accepted, so she hasn't wasted time and handed the pen again and began to move her hand to write.

During Alexander's stay at Daniella's school for a few days, William was always watching, and he did it secretly. When Daniella was with him, Alexander was already there. William enters the scene even though there is a fight between him and Daniella.

Today there is a project that they must do, and it must be with a partner. The female students picked a piece of paper in the box with the names of their male classmates, and whoever got the paper with the name was their partner. "Okay, class, open the paper and don't be noisy first. Is that clear?"

The students responded by beginning to read the paper. Daniella got the paper with Alexander's name, but she put it down on her desk for a moment. Bree sees that Alexander will be Daniella's partner, and she is the one who got the paper with William's name on it. While Daniella was not looking, Bree picked up the paper on top of Daniella's desk and exchanged it, but the paper with William's name written on it she deliberately threw on the floor so that Daniella would not suspect her. Now the paper Bree was holding was Alexander’s name, and now she pretended to be looking at another student. Daniella, on the other hand, was about to pick up the paper on her desk again without looking, but she frowned as she didn't have any paper to hold. So she turned her gaze to the top of the desk, but there was no paper there either.

Bree already felt that Daniella was already looking for the paper, so she just did it out of sheer malice. Daniella bent down and searched for the paper, and she saw it at the foot of her chair, which was close enough to not see. She picked it up and opened it again, but her eyebrows raised because Alexander's name had not been written on the paper.

In Daniella's mind, "I know Alexander is the name I pulled out. How come, William?" I asked myself a confusing question, so I approached Bree to ask. "Bree, who did you pick?"

"I don't know yet; I haven't opened it," Bree lied.

"Let me see what the name is that you pulled out." Bree handed it over to me, but she was puzzled about why Alexander was already in her paper.

 "Why?" Bree asked.

"A while ago, when I opened the paper I pulled out, I saw Alexander's name, but why did it become William?"

Bree's forehead furrowed. "How can it be, Alexander? I pulled out his name, you even opened it." She further improved her acting as she did nothing with the papers.

"But because—" Bree didn't let her finish speaking. "Maybe you didn't notice that William's name is the one you got, Daniella? Don't you want William to be your partner?"

"I like it too, but I'm just wondering about the paper."

Bree tries to convince Daniella that the one she gets is William's name. "Don't worry about what you saw because you might see Alexander first but William turned out to be," despite the distance between Alexander and William in spelling and in the first letter, Bree insisted on what she did.

"Maybe so," I simply replied to Bree.

Their teacher spoke again, saying, "The project you are going to do can be a house or whatever design you want to do. You can do it for 2 weeks, so you have a long day. Then you will pass it on to me."

 "Yes ma'am."

"Girls, you can approach your man's partner so you can talk about the equipment you're going to use. Just don't be too loud, because I have something to do."

Bree didn't stand up because Alexander was just in front of Daniella's desk, and then someone was sitting next to her even though they were both alone. Some are already next to their partner, but Alexander and William have yet to go to the two of them. William noticed this and turned to look at Daniella. Bree and Daniella were the only ones who hadn't stood up yet, so William thought that one of them had pulled his name.

Alexander turned around and saw that Bree and Daniella had never been to their partner. "Daniella, am I the one you pulled out?" Alexander asked.

Bree's eyebrows rose. Daniella answered with just a shake of her head and pointed at Bree. Alexander looked at Bree. "You're the only one there. You can move here to talk about the project," Alexander said calmly.

Bree didn't want to stand up, but she received a simple pinch from Daniella, so she lazily stood up and approached Alexander when suddenly someone sat in Bree's chair.

"Why are you here?" I asked William.

"Everyone has a partner as well as Bree, so we're partners now."

"How do you say you're the one I pulled out?"

He took the paper from my hand. "This is the evidence, and you're still holding it. Don't attempt to lie."

"Okay, your right; you're the one I pulled out. What material will we use to build a house?"

"We're going to use a popsicle stick."

"What kind of house are we going to make?"

  "Palace."

My eyes widened. "What!" My shout got a little louder. Fortunately, their classmates and teacher were busy, so I didn't notice. "The difficulty of what you thought should be simple and small."

"I'll be the one to follow the two of us, so there's nothing you can do."

"Why would you be the one to follow the two of us? We should both decide."

He looked at me out of the corner of his eye. "What are you thinking?"

"It's okay to have a simple house, even without windows," I said arrogantly.

"You think we'll have a high score if we follow what you want."

I rolled my eyes and thought carefully. "Do you also think we'll have a high score with as much difficulty as you want?" I even glared at him.

He grinned. "As long as it looks good, I'm sure, and then if you know how to use glue on a popsicle stick," he said.

I looked at him in disbelief. "What do you think of me not knowing how to use glue?"

"Yes," William said, looking directly ahead.

I clasped my hands; my breathing was heavy. "Wait, I will show you how good I am at the arts, even if I can glue your eyebrows together," I whispered, and my eyes were wide.

There was a faint smile on William's face when he heard that from Daniella, but it suddenly disappeared. "We'll meet on Saturday and Sunday, and I'll also be tutoring you because it took a long time to build a palace."

In my mind. "If we really don't finish the palace you want to build, it's up to you and stand by the score; we both have zero scores by any chance. " I shook my head.
