Chapter 42: Perfect Score

It was Monday, and Daniella saw Bree immediately frowning in front of a piece of paper she was holding.

I went inside and asked Bree. "It's early in the morning; your forehead is already wrinkled. What's in that paper? "

Bree's lowering her hand with a strong impact. "The amount we have to do has increased. This island tour, and we still have a sports fest. "

 I frowned. "Island tour?"

"Yes, we will have a tour on an island, and there are more activities to do after we tour that island."

"The tour is so social for an island. I thought it was just in a mall."

Bree glared at me. "Even you yourself can go to the mall, and only an elementary school has a tour like that. "

"Why is it possible, but not for the island tour? I'm sure it's expensive to pay, especially since we have an activity to do there."

"So, why is it that the amount we have to do and spend is only a few months away?"

"Just enjoy it after all; this is our last year as high school students." Bree smiled as she looked at the emptiness.

"Maybe it's nice to swim in the sea and then see the bottom for the fish at the very bottom."

"Don't plan to go underwater, and you might not be able to get back because your family fish has already taken you."

I had a scary look at her after what she said. "You're ruining my moment, but wait, why are you the only one here in the classroom where the others are?"

"It's early, so we don't have any students here."

I looked at Bree confused because I knew it was close to eight o'clock. "They're late, the bell is close to ringing."

"What are you saying? It's only 6:30 in the morning, and the school bell will ring at exactly 8:00 o'clock. "

I stood up suddenly. "What it's 6:30am? I left the house about 7:20 and I walked here, so the bell should be ringing now. "

"Look at the time on your phone; it's only 6:30."

I quickly picked up my phone, and what Bree said was true. "But why is my clock setting the alarm for 6:30 in the morning?" Eventually, I realized it was my mother's fault that I woke up so early. "It looks like Mom changed the time that should alarm to the exact time, but she changed it ahead."

Bree smiled. "Auntie did a good job. It's hard to wake you up; that's why she did it. "

While the two were talking, there were some students inside, as well as William and Alexander, until it was eight o'clock in the morning.

Their math teacher, Sir Salvador, came in reluctantly every time he entered the classroom because he could almost only see Daniella and was always asked to answer in front of the blackboard. "Good morning, class!"

 "Good morning, Sir!"

He stood in front of the student and seemed to be looking for someone.

"I think Sir Salvador is looking for me again. I'm always ashamed of Sir in every math subject." I close my eyes because every time Sir Salvador enters their classroom, he always notices me.

He looked at me with a smile, as if he were planning something. "I have a surprise quiz for you, so get one sheet of paper." He went to the table and sat down.

"Did he mention that if it wasn't a test that was too long, now it's a quiz that is still a surprise and no review happened?" I said weakly.

Sir Salvador stood up and wrote the question that needed a solution to get the answer. "In my opinion, it is correct that the 10 questions should have a solution, and I want to know how you solve the solution, not only the final answer." Only a few students responded in a low voice. Most of the students have difficulty with math, even though it has been taught to them.

I whispered, "Is Sir angry with the student? The quiz with the solution is so surprising to us." But Sir Salvador had been watching her earlier.

"Miss Sanchez, you want your score to be zero in the quiz? Why haven't you started yet? It looks like you've been saying something for a while. Maybe you want to share it with us. "

The whole students in classroom looked at me. I smiled awkwardly before my classmates returned to their papers and answer. I just answered too, so that their teacher would not notice me.

"I'll prove that I'm smart too, like William. " I said this in my head while concentrating on the answers to the questions.

Half an hour passed, and when the students finished answering, they passed it to their teacher and waited to see what the score was.

Sir Salvador lowered the pen and looked at the students again. "Always, but William and exchange student Alexander got a perfect score." Everyone was amazed at William and Alexander.

"But with one student, I'm really impressed today." Some students are wondering. "Congratulations, Miss Sanchez, because you also got a perfect score."

I smiled because I got a perfect score in math today. "William's tutoring you seems to be effective, and that's good so you don't have to come back here and you'll graduate this year."

The smile on my lips was slightly gone. "Sir really always has a side comment, he can be happy that I scored perfectly in his quiz."

"Your graduation is near, and you must pass the last exam. I have seen that some of you still find it difficult to understand the questions that need a solution, so as soon as possible, understand the lessons better that I will teach you. "

Their teacher is ready to come out when he looks at Daniella. "Good job, Miss Sanchez." And it finally left the classroom.

Bree approached me. "Sir, is look proud of you."

"My grades were really low for him back then, so that's how he reacted when I got a perfect score now."

"I thought you were just joking that you were smart, weren't you?"

My eyes are starting to narrow again. "You really didn't believe it, even at first? You're still my friend, who still looks like a basher. "

"We can't be considered friends if you always hear good words from me. The truth must always be said, even in a joking way. Right?"

I smirked. "Really, that's how ugly you've been since I met you."

The smile disappeared from Bree's lips, and she suddenly turned to me. "What did you say?"

"Oh, you look angry. Didn't you say we can't be considered friends if good words are always heard?"

Bree just kept her mouth shut because Daniella wouldn't lose in their conversation today.
