Chapter 15

"Claude, I want to warn you to stay alert! Jean got word this morning that Erwin and his group will be coming to England to look for us. Sooner or later, they will find our hiding place, I want to know mark their stench, no one can do it as well as you!" Claude said.

"Okay sir! I understand! If I smell them, I'll tell Sofia and Harry right away. See you later, good night?"

Leo grabbed Sera's hand and led her out, in front of the entrance, Sofia was standing with her arms folded across her chest.

"Want to go home now? It's too late, why don't you stay?" Sofia asked.

"I can't let her be among beasts like you! I don't want to take such a risk?"

"A beast huh? Hahaha...how about you? Aren't you part of this group of beasts, Leo? Oh yeah, I remember that you weren't born a werewolf. You're just a clone!" He said with a condescending smile. Keith wasn't bothered by Sofia's words at all because he knew it was just jealousy.

"I'm going home now! See you later?" Keith said as he left with Elen who just followed his every step.

"Sera...!" Sofia shouted. Leo and Sera kept walking even though Elen tried to look back.

"If you're wondering how Keith came to be a part of us, ask him...!" he said. Hearing Sofia's words, Elen was curious about how Keith, who was born as a human, could be part of the pack led by Claude Van Der Berg.

Keith kept walking and grabbed Elen's hand so she wouldn't be separated from him. This forest is very dark, humid and dangerous because there are many wild animals that can attack them at any time such as bears and snakes.

"Keith, I-"

Happy... happy...

"Wait!" Keith immediately stopped walking when he heard something moving from the bushes.

Elen held her breath, she was scared even though she didn't know what creature was hiding from the bushes. Keith had Elen hide behind his back, while he stood alert, prepared for any unexpected attacks.

They continued to watch the bushes move until a large brown bear sprang out.

"Bears? W-why are there bears here?"

"Tch!" Keith knew they were in big trouble now. Bear attacks can be fatal if they do not have weapons to protect themselves.

Keith could not think long, he immediately changed his form into a large wolf and immediately attacked the bear. Elen fell down on the damp ground, seeing wolves and bears that shouldn't be in this place fighting and attacking each other.

"Oh, my God!" Elen prays. He was so scared now. In all his life he had never seen a bear and a wolf in person like this.

After five minutes of fighting, Keith managed to repulse the bear until it fled into deeper woods. After confirming that the bear was gone, Keith returned to his human form.

He approached Elen who was frozen on the ground with a trembling body. Keith wiped the blood that dripped from his chin which had been scratched by a bear.

"You're bleeding!"

"It's okay, just a small wound!" Keith said. He tried to find something to clean the blood. While the oldest Elen stared at his blood without blinking. Elen felt that strange turmoil again which prompted her to taste Keith's blood.

His heart was beating fast, his eyes barely blinked. He smelled fresh blood and he wanted to taste it. Elen approached Keith and immediately hugged him so he could lick the blood flowing from Keith's wound.

"Blood, I want blood! I want to drink fresh blood!" Ellen muttered. He licked Keith's blood and it surprised Keith.

"Elen, wake up! What are you doing?" Keith tried to wake Elen from her madness. He knew this was the effect of Charlie's bite.

"Blood! Give me your blood...!" Ellen rebelled. He forced Keith to give him more blood. Keith didn't expect that Elen would become so strong like this that it would be difficult for him to control Elen.

"Elen, wake up...!" Keith pushed Elen's body and laid her down on the ground while holding her hands that continued to struggle.

"Let go of me! Give me blood! I want fresh blood! Give me blood...!" Elen was still struggling, she looked weak and in pain. His eye color turned pitch black.

Keith felt uncomfortable, he took the blood with his hand and fed it into Elen's mouth.

"I'm sorry, Elen! I'm really sorry!"

Elen opened her eyes when she heard the chirping of birds perched on the balcony of her bedroom. He saw sunlight coming in through the window. His head felt very dizzy, but strangely, he felt his body much more energetic than before.

Elen raised her head from the pillow, little by little, the memories of what happened last night came into her head. He remembered that he and Keith went into the woods and walked the two kilometers to a house in the middle of the woods. He met with the pack members and also Claude Van Der Berg the alpha who led the pack.

Claude said they came from America after deciding to move and settle in England to avoid other packs. Elen didn't really understand the problems the werewolves were having, because right now she was too busy thinking about Charlie.

"Charlie?" Ellen muttered. He still couldn't believe Keith's story that he and Charlie had been reincarnated dozens of times. It feels so hard to believe.

He wanted to meet Charlie and ask him, but thinking back on his nightmare yesterday, he wasn't sure that he was ready to see Charlie's face now. He saw how Charlie was brutally tortured and killed. Tears welled up in her eyes, she couldn't imagine the pain Charlie was feeling at that moment. He just wants to meet the woman he loves, he just wants to live happily.

"He's married to someone else and forgot about me!"
