Chapter 18
"So, if she's not your biological mother it makes you feel uncomfortable?"
"No, it's not that-"
"Then why? Isn't the most important thing that he loves you as much as he loves his biological children?"
"Yes, you're right! Mom loves me so much, I know that and I love her too!"
"So, what are you thinking now? Is something bothering you?"
"I just realized that in every life I've lived, every time I've been reborn as a child not once have I met the woman who gave birth to me!"
"W-what? Really?"
"Yes, since my first life, I was raised by a priest who guarded the temple. I am not who my father and mother are. Until I kept reincarnating 80 times. But not once have I been born as a child with a mother. It feels like this is the worst curse ever. I regret it the most!"
"But Nathan must have suffered a lot because of the curse too. He's been reincarnated many times and he still can't be with the woman he loves. His love can't be reciprocated!" Ellen said. She was concerned, unable to imagine the pain and loneliness he was feeling.
Leo smiled a little and thought that the most pitiful one in this story should be Elen. He had absolutely nothing to do with the curse that befell them, but he had to face a difficult problem.
"Do you still love him even though you already know who he is? All his life he will only pursue and love one woman. Because of that he can't possibly reciprocate Elen's feelings.
"I know and I understand. It's okay, Keith! It's okay if he can never return my love. It's okay if all the love he has for Ruby. the love I have because for me there will be no next life, because it's the only chance I have to love him." Ellen smiled sadly. Keith could see the sincerity in Elen's eyes and for the first time he felt jealous of Charlie.
"Tch, I have to admit in his current life even though he has to be a goddamn vampire, he's very lucky!"
"Why lucky? The proof of his love is still not reciprocated!"
"At least this time he's made me jealous because he has something I don't have!"
"Really? What is it?" asked Elen who seemed insensitive to the signal Keith gave. Keith was annoyed that Elen never realized his feelings.
"Never mind forget it!"
"But I'm curious, what is Ruby like and who is Ruby right now? Could it be that Charlie came to England to see Ruby?"
"Yeah, maybe!"
"But at that time Charlie once said that Ruby was married and living a happy life. It turns out that even though she has become a vampire, she still failed in terms of love! But what about you? Wasn't in your first life you and Ruby married? Did you not love her after reincarnated? again?"
"Yeah, I never fell in love with him again!"
"Why?"
"I don't know, it's just that I don't have it anymore. The only curse I received was to keep reincarnating to kill Charles! But strangely enough, it was that bastard who continued to be a slave to love for thousands of years. He really never gave up!"
"That must be because his love is so big and deep. I really can't imagine being in his position. He is so faithfully waiting and hoping that one day a miracle will come to him. If it was me, I would definitely give up!"

"Wake up, Elen! Wake up!"
"Huh?" Elen gasped and opened her eyes when she heard voices calling her and asking her to wake up and open her eyes.
Elen found herself standing in the middle of a dark room, where she couldn't see anything. Elen tried to inhale air to make sure that she was breathing.
"Dream? Is this a dream? Am I dreaming?" He muttered. He couldn't feel the air going into his lungs, but surprisingly he could breathe easily.
"Where is this? Where am I?" This darkness frightened him. He didn't know what horrible things were around him. It made him panic, he didn't like dark places.
"Ellen...!" Someone shouted his name. Elen tried to turn around, looking in all directions, hoping that some light could help her out of this terrible darkness.
"Who's there...? Hey...! Is anyone here...?" he shouted. His voice resounded, turning this place into a terrifying terror.
"Sob... anyone help me!" Elen sobbed. The shadow of the dark sea water and the creeping monster came back to haunt him, bringing his trauma to the surface.
Elen was shaking, she couldn't move her legs. For some reason at times like this, he actually hoped Keith would come to help. Elen didn't understand when she had started doubting Charlie, whereas before, she had depended so much on Charlie, someone who had helped her many times.
"No, I can't do this! I just want Charlie, I just need him! I just-" He was cut off when he saw a light coming out of a door.
At first Elen thought that she was on a street, but after realizing there was a door at the other end, she was relieved to be at least in a house or room.
Elen stepped into the bright light, she just followed her intuition and hoped to get out of this darkness soon. However, when he arrived at the door which turned out to be so tall and majestic, he was surprised at the sight before him.
A very spacious and majestic room, with high pillars carved in gold, and statues that look very extraordinary. Elen's eyes widened as soon as she saw the surface of the marble floor which was very gleaming, on which a thick carpet covered in gold lay. He had never seen a place so extraordinary as this before.
"Where is this?" He thought. Suddenly heard the sound of two people talking to each other 10 steps in front of him. A young brown haired man wearing silk clothes shouted at a blonde haired woman.
Sera was completely unaware that there was anyone in this room. He hastily hid behind a pillar and tried to peek at the man and woman. Elen tried to look carefully, she was surprised to see the man's face that looked so similar to Nathan. Very handsome with his sharp and cold eyes, but he couldn't see clearly the woman's face because he was standing with his back to him.
