Chapter 26

They followed the man along the road, the man continued to chat with everyone he met, while drinking a glass of wine he laughed as if he had never committed a heinous crime.

“Come on!” Nathan grabbed her hand to follow her somewhere in the middle of the corridor.

"Where are we going ?" She asked with an uneasy feeling. Nathan took her into a luxury cabin.

"What are we doing here?"

“Just shut up and hold this!" Nathan said while handing him an electric cable.

"What's this?"

“Cut the cord!

"What? What for ?"

"Don't ask too many questions! do it fast!” Charlie shouted, he did nothing and just told Elen to do everything.

Elen cut the wire that was carrying a high-voltage electric current, and placed the end on the floor. Elen didn't dare to answer, she just cried.

“Flood the floor with this water!” Charlie ordered, holding out a barrel of water.

“W-for what?”

“Do it now, Elen!” he snapped.

Elen was frightened, her hands were shaking. Although only in a dream, but all this looks real. He couldn't fight back and he didn't want to disappoint Charlie.

"Let's go!" Charlie said as he pulled Elen's arm away from the place.

Moments later, the mustachioed man they had been eyeing for earlier began to appear from a distance. He walked alone to his cabin. When he opened the door, the slippery floor made him slip and fall, the electric current that ran through him electrocuted him.

“P-please! P-help me…!” He groaned in pain, his body stiff and stiff. The high electric current made his body blacken slowly and the man died instantly.

“N-no way!” Ellen shouted. Sia didn't know what she had done, she could only watch the man die in front of her eyes as a result of her actions.

“I-I can't possibly kill him! Impossible! It's all just a dream!"

"Tch, he's not dead yet! Come here, Elen!" Charlie said after dragging the dying man away from the puddle.

"P-help me-" The man was still breathing. His voice sounded very low and weak.

Elen approached him with trembling body, she didn't know what to do with this man.

"W-what else should I do?"

"Before he dies, bite his neck and suck his blood!

“No…” Mrs Emma shouted from the first floor. His screams sounded very hysterical.

Elen opened her eyes, there were no more ships that kept terrorizing her, now she was fully aware that it was all just a dream. Elen rubbed her eyes and looked around the room, nothing strange.

"Help…! Help...!" The scream was heard again, Elen was very surprised and rushed out of the room to the source of the mother's scream.

All the family had gathered in front of the kitchen door with mother who was already in tears, Elen didn't know what happened, why did mother scream like that.

"Sam, what's wrong? what happened ?" asked Elen frantically as she shook her older brother's body.

"Elen, dad..." he answered in a deep voice, Sam's eyes already starting to water.

“W…Father ?” Elen doesn't understand what Sam means and prefers to see for herself with her eyes.

Elen was silent as she saw a corpse lying stiff with black and burnt skin color, on the floor already filled with water that came from nowhere.

"Father ..." shouted Elen, he approached the corpse but Sam stopped him immediately.

"Don't Elen… the floor still has electricity, don't come near it yet."

“Sam… dad why? what happened ?" asked Elen with tears already streaming down her face.

"I don't know." Sam replied, he also did not understand why his father could die in such a pathetic condition.

Elen came to her senses and saw that her family members were also there, mother had passed out from too much shock, grandmother was crying while hugging Rosie and Jimmy, the only thing left was Uncle Diego who was cutting the electricity and calling the police and ambulance.

About 15 minutes later the police arrived in an ambulance and took my father's body to the hospital. The police questioned Diego's uncle, the only person they could rely on at a time like this while the others were still in shock and couldn't believe what had happened.

Elen entered her room, closed the door tightly and sat down on the bed. Her body trembled, Elen's tears continued to flow without stopping after seeing her father's lifeless condition.

“Father… why… why did this happen… why?” shouted Elen sabil hitting her head with both hands.

“Who did all that… who…” he shouted even more brutally, suddenly a heavy blow landed on his mind.

Elen was silent and began to realize that something was strange, her father's death reminded her of her dream last night.

“No… there's no way I did it, it was just a dream. I continued to sleep last night and didn't move an inch from the room, there's no way I…” she said to herself, Elen trying to convince herself that what had happened to her father had nothing to do with her dream at all.

Today the father's funeral was held, everyone felt very hurt and wondered why all this happened? Until now, the mother's condition has not recovered, she often faints when she remembers that her father is not there. Grandma didn't want to be present at her son's funeral, she cried all the time and locked herself in her room.

After the funeral was over, everyone started to leave, but Elen still felt at home while looking at her father's tombstone. Elen cried even though she didn't make a sound, feelings of sadness and sorrow enveloped her. Uncle Diego walked up to Elen and gently held his shoulder.

"Ellen, let's go home. It's going to rain soon." The man said softly.

"Why ? Why did daddy leave?" asked Elen in a trembling voice.

“You must not know what happened because that night you slept early. We partied until late at night, around 2 we decided to sleep and rest. At first there was nothing strange, Elen, but when the morning came your mother screamed hysterically because she saw that your father was dead after being electrocuted from a broken cable and hitting the wet floor.” The answer.

"Who did it ?"

"Police have investigated everything, the cable broke due to a rat bite and stuck to the floor, when your father went into the kitchen to get a drink he slipped and spilled water."

"Was dad killed?"
