“If we are Lycan, then how come we only have one wolf, I thought a Lycan has two wolves.” Eli said leaning forward pointing between the four of us. Izzy smiled brightly.
“You two, when your mother died, it acted like a seal in a way. A Lycan wolf awakens when the child turns fourteen, along with the secondary wolf, which is technically what your wolves are, but the “curse” your mom placed on your father can only be broken when their true mate is found, marked, and mated.” Izzy smiled brightly. Desmond hummed in delight, while all four of us looked confused.
“Ok, so what about Lexi and me?” Mei asked shifting slightly in my lap.
Oh, goddess her ass.
“You my beauties are incredibly special. The “spirit wolf” is actually a sibling pair, most of the time it is a set of twins, but in your cases, your brother was born first, then you, exactly two years apart, same day, same time. Your farther knew the day Lexi was born, by the color of his eyes. Our Grandmother and her twin brother had silver eyes the day they were born, but you two had your wolves eyes, which is the normal color we see daily, unless you allow your true color be known.” Izzy said looking between Mei and Lexi. Mei took a hard breath in, tensing a little.
“Baby you okay?” I linked rubbing her back for support.
“Yeah. It is crazy finding this out.” She replied, smiling shyly.
“Now, the unique part is that the grey blue is your secondary wolves’ eyes, and those gorgeous green flecks are your Lycan. When you shift, it will have eyes like mine, jade green with silver rings. I do not have the silver ring, because when Raven snapped my neck, he killed my wolves, but the Vampire blood I share with my mate and husband saved me. Raven did not know this little fact, when he ambushed me looking for you both.” Izzy started to pace around.
“Wouldn’t we have shifted by now?” Lexi asked leaning onto the table edge.
“Yes, if you would have been together during your first shift. Mei shifted at sixteen because of her situation.” Izzy was cut off, by Mei GROWLING… Jumping up from my lap shifting into Kyou.
“Mei Baby. It is okay, your safe, you’re okay.” I linked her walking over to her with my hands raised. Another deep loud GROWL… from behind, Lexi shifted into a large black wolf with a silver streak down his forehead, joining Mei’s side, snapping, and yipping at one another.
“Mei! Lexi! Your safe. With your family.” Izzy dropped to her knees, her eyes glowing green.
Mei and Lexi released loud booming howls. Morning their family. I felt a heavy pull to shift with them, Goki took over shifting into our dark grey wolf followed by Eli. Seth, Max, and Riley all took a knee bowing their heads as all four of us released mournful howls.
Desmond and Dominic kneeled with Izzy paying their respects to Izzy’s sister, and brother-in-law. Howls of the clan echoed through our links as they paid respect to those who have fallen.
“Jack.” Mei whispered crying, whimpering nudging her brother’s snout.
“I know Baby. It hurts, let it out.” I linked licking her snout as Eli gave Lexi a comforting nudge.
“It hurts so bad.” Lexi linked whimpering.
Mei rubbed against him, shifting back wrapping her arms around his large black fur chest, sobbing into his fur. Lexi shifted back pulling Mei into his lap, hugging her for dear life, whispering he was never going to lose her again. Izzy crawled over pulling them into a massive hug, sobbing with them kissing their heads and cheeks.
Eli and I shifted back, grabbing spare shorts and t-shirts. Eli walking back over to Riley pulling her into a tight embrace, crying in her shoulder. I walked over to Mei, Lexi and Izzy encasing them into a hug, feeling the pain of losing a parent.
“Izzy, Mei is having her Luna ceremony on the Full-moon, will you help her prepare?” I asked breathing her scent in deeply.
“I would love that.” Izzy cried smiling brightly. Mei pulled back looking at Lexi smiling.
“Lexi, will you become one with Demon Wolf?” Mei asked smiling at him brightly.
“Did you just not hear me say I would never lose you again?” He smiled ruffing her hair up, she shoved him back playfully. Laughing, standing up to sit backdown, before I could grab Mei, Izzy swooped in grabbing her
“You boys do your thing, and us girls will do ours.” Izzy smiled waving Riley over to them, then “poof” all three girls were gone. I looked over at Desmond laughing, covering his mouth with his hand.
“Hey, you just asked her to help plan, what is equivalent to a wedding with her niece that she thought died fourteen years ago.” Desmond said holding his stomach holding onto Dominic’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry Lexi, your next.” Dominic said patting his shoulder. Lexi’s face contorted then dropped his face into his hands, shaking his head.
“Well, seeing we have some time for us guys, let’s take this up to my office.” I said standing up, leading the guys up to my office. Max scooped Lexi into a side hug, laughing.
“Dude, who would have thought you would become my clan brother, and brother to my first-ever friend.” Max said smiling like a kid who won his first fight.
“You have no idea, Max.” Lexi laughed hitting his chest with his elbow. Seth took Lexi from the other side.
“Now, you get to train with us.” Seth laughed pointing between him and Max. Lexi’s face was classic horror.
“Wait! No way. He will kill me. I have seen him fight, and it is not pretty.” Lexi said shaking his head mortified.
“Oh, don’t worry about the Big Bear, he is softer than he looks.” Seth laughed looking at Max with a big smile.
“Hey, I have a reputation to uphold.” Max laughed flipping his t-shirt collar. We all let out loud laughter, entering my office. Still laughing walking over to pull up a chair to sit with the guys on the sofas. Seth pulled out my special whiskey from the hidden wall painting with six glasses he tossed to each one. Desmond took the liberty to pour everyone’s drinks.
“Well, I never thought I would see this. King Desmond pouring drinks.” Max said releasing a small laugh. Desmond flashed him a smile showing just enough fang. Max put his hand up in defeat. Desmond laughed.
“I will forgive you, seeing how you protected Mei in the facility, and the fact, you worked for Raven.” Desmond said taking his seat. Holding up his glass.
“To all the crazy shit that has and will come.” Desmond said saluting the rest of us.
“Isn’t that the fucking truth.” Goki laughed.
“Lexi you have the choice, seeing you are the brother of the Luna. You can stay on Seth and Max’s floor, or you can have another room on the second floor.” I said looking at Lexi think about it. Then nodding.
“I am fine with the current room, but I have a request.” Lexi said taking a swig of his whiskey.
“What might that be?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I need my equipment brought here, and a large temperature-controlled room to set up. I know Max is good, but with me added to the mix, we can make this clan top-of-the-art, self-contained, just in case of enemy attacks.” Lexi smiled fist bumping Max smiling.
“This kid got some balls.” Goki laughed.
“Just like his sister.” I laughed. Shaking my head silently.
“Already done. I ordered the guys to label each piece as they pack it up. Then they are to self-destruct your warehouse, after they have gotten far enough away.” Eli said sitting forward.
“They will be here in about two hours.” Max said leaning back crossing his leg casually.
“You guys do not play around.” Lexi laughed shaking his head.
“As a gift from us, we will send over whatever you need, or want to upgrade, so it is the best.” Desmond said patting Dominic’s shoulder.
“What about you Dominic, what is your specialty, besides fighting?” Lexi asked looking at Dominic get the largest smile on his face. His jade hazel eyes growing bright.
“Oh, fuck! You had to ask him.” Eli threw his hands up in the air laughing.
“Oh, cuz, that is easy. Weapons, fighting, explosives, you name it. If it goes “bang” or “boom”, slices, dices, filets, whatever, I specialize in it.” Dominic said standing up, holding his shirt up exposing the multiple knives attached to his torso, then sliding up his pant legs to show two-custom Taurus PT111.
“Hah. You think that is something. Look.” Seth said standing up, removing his shirt exposing a custom chest holster adorned with multiple throwing knives, then revealed two-Smith & Wesson M&P .40 S&W. Lexi’s smile grew bright, eyes twinkling at the sight of the knives and guns. He jumped up grabbing his Bookbag, sitting it down on the table. We all had raised eyebrows, watching as he unzipped three secret compartments in his bag, revealing “shuriken” also known as throwing stars, kunai, lock picks, and two-Smith and Wesson M&P 9 SHIELD Gold Ported Barrel.
“Fuck Lexi! I had no idea you were so talented.” Max laughed holding up one of the Smith and Wesson’s.
“We have two Rambo’s and a Ninja with guns.” Goki laughed uncontrollably.
“You are not kidding.” I laughed.
“You any good, cuz?” Dominic asked stargazing at the arsenal in front of us. Lexi flashing a signature Cheshire Cat grin. Seth and Dominic looking at me with pleading eyes.
“Fine. Follow me.” I said throwing my hand up laughing leading the guys out to the west training field with full-on gun range, tactical training building, indoor shooting range and knife throwing ranges. Max, Seth, Dominic, and Lexi looked like a bunch of Teenagers waiting to see their first pair of boobs. We made a pit stop for mine and Eli’s personal arsenal. Desmond has a locker at the range with his babies.
“What is bonding without bullets and knives.” Desmond laughed. We knew the girls would be pre-occupied for a few hours, so why not enjoy this time blowing shit up.
A couple of my Elites were at the tactical building doing a mock ambush. Lexi studied their strategy, and possible ways to counter, defend, and execute the situation. He may not be physically strong, but his ability to break down strategy and make any adjustments to see a successful outcome.
Max walked over talking and pointing out different things he saw, while Lexi nodded, then suggested different things between the two. The Elites walked over listening to Lexi and Max make their suggestions. The Elites seemed impressed, and receptive to their suggestions and comments.
“Now this is a Proud Alpha moment.’ Desmond said smiling at the two work as a team.
“Hey Alpha, you mind if we join your little gathering?” One of the Elites asked. I nodded “yes” and motioned to head over to the ranges. Lexi demonstrated his technic of kunai and guns, then throwing knives. He is damn impressive. Not realizing the entire elite ranks joined in watching our showdown.
