New Guy
With three men, my world went from boring and bleak to entangled overnight. My mind races through each of them looking for a reason to tell myself it’s wrong. I needed Jenny to help me sort through all of this.
My thoughts are crossed, and my emotions are running wild. Can I just take these three men and wrap them up in one? Jared will forever be my first love, he taught me what it was to be loved and then what it was like to lose love. Adrian was great at sex, but a complete asshole that I will probably never see again.
Then we have Cameron who is sweet, considerate, and hot. Maybe I needed a restart on guys too and Cameron could be that. I checked out his Instagram and knew we would have so much to talk about. We have so much in common, and the sex may even be fantastic.
I needed to clear my head with a bath and get ready for the evening. We decided to go where the night takes us and live in the moment. I called Jen over to do my hair and makeup, I wanted to be ready for the club and comfortable enough for a walk in the park.
Jenny came straight home and into my room. I had sent her a girlfriend SOS earlier, so she was prepared. Ice cream and chocolate, she knows the way to my heart.
“I can’t believe Jared kissed you today!”, she made a gagging sound.
“I can’t believe I kissed back.”, I joined her in the gagging.
“Would you consider taking him back?”, she asked.
“I want to say no, but at the same time, I think about all the good times we had. I don’t want to fall back into a familiar pace though.”, I stumbled into my thoughts.
“Well Jared is a jerk, Adrian is a very hot asshole, and maybe Cameron is the key!”, she assured me.
“I hope to find that out tonight!”, I smiled.
“Well, there you go, babe. Looking hot!”, she examined me.
I looked amazing. I was wearing a maroon lace bodysuit with a plunging neckline and a pair of distressed high-waisted boyfriend jeans. Jenny rolled them at the bottom to help me step into my ankle boots. She picked out a matching belt and purse.
She curled my luscious locks away from my face and parted my hair down the middle. I was totally feeling myself tonight. My makeup was soft and subtle medium coverage with a nude lip.
I wasn’t ready to tell Cameron which apartment I lived in, so I told him I would meet him downstairs. Once I was ready to go, I gave Jenny a little spin to show off all her hard work. Then she handed me a shot to take as I walked out the door, she slapped my butt and wished me well.
My nerves had me constantly checking myself out in the elevator mirror until I was almost to the ground floor. The doors opened and there he was, my breath was taken from me. He was standing there in a white tee, dark-washed denim, and a brown leather belt to match his shoes. His hair tussled back looking relaxed with his oval face and side smile.
He was holding a dozen pink peony blooms and offered me an arm. I could not ask for a better show of a gentleman. This was every girl's dream guy and he picked me out of the crowd.
I could not take my eyes off him. Clean shaved and smelling like Versace Eros. He checked his Cartier watch, which made me wonder how well he did for himself. He was looking good.
“Ready for the evening I planned?”, he smiled as he looked at me.
“I wish I knew what we were doing!”, I giggled.
“Well for dinner we are doing something I think you’ll enjoy.”, he said as he opened the door of a town car for me.
We got in a sleek black town car, a Lincoln Continental that was fully blacked out. The interior was luxurious black leather with spacious seating for 2 with a drink holder in the center. There were blankets, pillows, snacks, and water available for us to use.
This was not an Uber and the way he spoke to the driver seemed as if they knew each other.
I broke the silence, “So, is this your car?”.
“Kind of, it is my father’s city car. He owns a few businesses here and there.”, he retorted.
“I see, so do you travel blog by choice, or did you just fall into it with the lifestyle you live?”, I was curious.
“My father was never around and was always traveling. He left my mom and me behind, so I set out on a mission to travel the world and not look back. Blogging just happened when I started posting on Instagram. Now I get paid to travel.”, he was an open book.
He grabbed my hand and held it until we pulled up at a Chef Cooking School. I gasped as he opened the door of the car and helped me out. We walked inside and it was empty all, but one table set up and a man in a chef hat waiting.
“You booked us a cooking class?”, I said with an excited jump.
“I hope you like sushi.”, he grinned.
“I do, very much so.”.
We spent the next hour laughing, talking, and rolling sushi. We got a little sidetracked as he decided to dip his finger in each sauce to give me a taste. I sucked each sauce off his finger in a sensual way to gauge where he stood tonight.
After tasting all the sauces, we stood facing each other behind the metal table. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to him. I was breathing heavily looking up at him, then I grabbed him and pulled him in for a kiss.
He put his fingers in the loops of my jeans on the side and use that as leverage to pull me closer to him. We locked out lips and tasted each other in the heat of the moment. He used his arm to push back the food on the table and picked me up to set me on it.
Opening my legs to accept him, he closed the gap and planted kissing on my collarbone down to my breasts. I wrapped my legs around him to keep him pulled in close. He grabbed the back of my hair and tilted my head up towards the ceiling kissing my neck.
Just as we were about to take it further my phone rang.
I pulled back just enough to say, “Just ignore it.”.
We did, but it kept ringing and ringing.
“It’s okay, it must be important.”, he whispered.
This man was absolutely perfect. Jared on the other hand…
I sent Jared a text, “I am busy, what do you want.”, but the mood was gone.
He helped me down from the table and we straightened our clothes, and I fixed my lipstick.
“Can we please talk about today?”, Jared replied.
I ignored him to focus on the man in front of me. He pulled up two bar stools and grabbed two glasses of wine. He acted as if we weren't about to have sex in the middle of the cooking class.
He was in the mood still because so was I, but my phone kind of killed the vibe. Jared will pay for that later. I just hoped the rest of the night was uninterrupted.
We finished our food, and it was starting to get late. He let me hold his arm as he walked me to the door. I stopped before we could exit.
“Are you okay? I know it’s raining, but Mike will bring the umbrella over.”, he was soothing.
“I’m sorry. I can’t get in your car. I can’t get in any car in the rain.”, I was starting to freak out.
“You don’t have to apologize, but if you want to talk, I am here for you.”, he was amazing.
“My parents died in a car accident when I was 9. It was raining and they drove off the road. It took 6 hours for anyone to find us. I kept screaming for help and no one came.”, I broke down and cried.
He put his arms around me and pulled me in for a hug while motioning for, Mike, the driver to bring the umbrella. He popped it open as we walked out the door.
“Thank you, Mike, we will walk from here.”, he dismissed his driver.
“You don’t have to walk with me. I will be okay. I walk all the time.”, I assured him.
“I picked you up from your door and that’s where I will drop you off. Car or no car.”, he wrapped his arm around me and walked us back to the Highrise.
I didn’t realize this is what I was missing in life, it was about time I met a new guy.
