Cheers
It had been over two weeks since I gave each of the guys the option to be my friend with benefits. It also cleared the air about my entanglement, but I wanted them to be aware of each other. I was working toward having them all at once, like in my recurring dream.
I was rushing all around trying to get my work done before my actual vacation from reality started. I get 14 days a year and so far, I have only used 4 days. I had put in for a week off and it was just what I needed to reset my mind!
Shaking the thought of entanglement was impossible because I craved each of them for a different reason. My main issue was the relationship between Adrian and Cameron. Those two did not get along and it was Adrian’s fault.
I could tell that they didn’t like each other, not just because Adrian voiced it. Cameron never looked Adrian in the eyes which I thought was odd. Nor did Cameron go out of his way to talk to Adrian.
Jared got along with both, so I needed to find out what was going on between them. Adrian swears that Cameron was bad news but couldn’t tell me what was so bad about him. Cameron has been understanding, considerate, and honest with me.
Jenny came barging in the door with bags and she appeared to be out of breath.
“Hey, let me grab those.”, I rushed to her.
“I… swear… someone was… following me.”, she said between huffs.
I ran to the door and opened it.
Looking around the hall I didn’t see anyone, so I walked down the hall to the elevator. The door closed and I did see three men in there whom I didn’t recognize. I only caught a glimpse before the doors closed.
That was odd. I rushed back to my apartment, locked the doors, and ran over to the window. I saw the men exit the building and climb into a blacked-out SUV before speeding off. I couldn’t catch the plates or make/model of the vehicle.
“Jenny, what did you get yourself into?”, I turned around.
“I swear I paid for everything in my bags.”, she had finally calmed down.
“Let’s call the cops, maybe they can pull the video from the front door.”, I suggested.
“I will after you leave. I am not going to be responsible for you missing this trip.”, she started unpacking her bags.
“Your safety is more important than a stupid trip.”, I walked over to hug her.
“They are gone, and I am locked in here. I promise that I will call once you are packed.”, she patted my back before letting go.
I didn’t want to leave her, so I text Adrian. He had a lot of friends in the city, and I hoped he could help me figure out what was going on with Jenny.
“Hey Adrian, I know we haven’t spoken much lately. I have a favor to ask.”, I didn’t expect him to respond.
I started packing my bags as Jenny sat on the bed. My phone went off and she grabbed it.
“OoOo, it’s Adrian.”, she teased.
“What does it say?”, I didn’t hide anything from her.
“It says, what do you need?”, she read the message to me.
“Tell him about the guys and what happened.”, I continued packing while she explained to him what had just happened.
He replied and Jenny read it aloud again, “I will handle it.”.
“I wish I had a man who would handle *it* for me.”, she continued to tease me.
“Oh hush! If you want me to leave then I need to know you are safe.”, I snapped my fingers at her in a zigzag pattern.
Adrian had been so protective over me since our night in the cabin. It was an attractive quality and the main reason I had a thing for him. He was a bad boy with a possessive complex.
It didn’t take long to pack for the fall-like weather where we were going. I packed more than usual since it was early September. Most girls love the summer because they can strut their bodies in barely anything clothing, but I loved the fall.
I was super excited about our trip and using my passport because Cam was taking me to Canada. His father had a house there that he got permission to use because his father was out of town. We had a rule about not meeting the parents, so I stressed the importance of us being alone there.
He didn't have any siblings, so just the house staff would be there. Instead of using commercial airlines, he booked us a flight on his father’s private jet. I often wondered who his father was and how wealthy he had to be to afford this lifestyle for Cam.
As usual, Mike greeted me with an open door. Cam messaged me earlier in the day and told me that he would meet me at the airstrip. I got in the back of the car to see a bouquet, a card, and an iced coffee.
I couldn’t fathom why Adrian hated him so much, he took such good care of me. Every time I offered to pay for something he just told me to let him take care of me. This was the main reason it was so hard to pick which man I liked more.
The only thing odd he did was take secret phone conversations with his parents. It didn’t bother me too much. I just chalked it up to a healthy relationship with them and our rule not to involve family.
“So, how long have you worked for Cameron’s family?”, I asked Mike.
“Many, many years.”, he gave a very vague answer.
“Do you like being a driver?”, I tried to strike up a conversation.
“I do.”, this was going to be a fun ride.
“Do you have a family?”, I learned people love to boast about their children and he looked old enough to have a few.
“We are about 10 minutes out.”, he cut the conversation off.
I took my cue that he was instructed not to talk to me. I get it, but at the same time, I found it odd that a man couldn’t tell me anything. I have deeper conversations with taxi drivers.
I noticed that he kept looking in the rearview mirror as we drove, so I turned around for a peek. I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, just bustling traffic. I wondered if that SUV had started to follow us, but I couldn’t see more than 5 cars behind.
I didn’t want to get Cam, or his driver mixed up in whatever Jenny had brought home.
“Is everything okay?”, I asked.
“Yes ma’am.”, I was getting sick of the vague answers.
“Are you paid not to talk to your passengers?”, he looked at me funny when I asked that.
He hesitated, “Please be careful miss. I said nothing.”, was all he said before pulling up to a plane on a private runway.
He got out of the car and opened my door to let me out. Then he went to the trunk to pull out my luggage and handed it off to the flight crew. I saw Cam standing by the bottom step that led up into the plane.
Offering me his hand he said, “We need to hurry to beat the rain.”.
I looked up and all around noticing the storm that was rolling in. I didn’t like to travel in the rain, and he knew that. That must have been what Mike was looking at because the storm was behind us. This pair was so considerate of my emotional needs.
The plane was the smallest that I had ever seen with about 6 steps to enter the main cabin. On the left side, there was a window seat that stretched the length of the room. There were four seats on the right side, two on each side of a sleek wooden table.
Just behind the seating area was a wall of sleek brown wood that looked glossy. It housed a pocket door that opened into a bedroom. The room fits a full-size bed with enough walking room around it to fit a door to a full bathroom in the back of the plane.
All the upholstery throughout was made of rich white leather with grey striping. The flooring throughout looked like luxury vinyl. To my surprise, the window bench opened, and a large TV popped out from under the seat.
The chairs we sat in had matching seatbelts that were hidden in a fold in the leather. They also swiveled to face the television and the table was adjustable in width. This plane was by far the best representation of his father’s money.
While I was seated and preparing for takeoff, Cam ran to the back to take a phone call. It sounded very heated, but all I was able to hear were a few choice words that he yelled to the person he had called. I just hoped it didn’t ruin the vibe or our trip that he had planned.
He came out of the back, “Everything okay?”, I said trying to break the ice.
“Oh yes, just some business deals that aren’t going my way.”, he never held back.
“I hope it works itself out.”, I smiled.
“I will be a very rich man if it does.”, he ordered us a drink from the flight attendant.
“Well, cheers to your success.”, I raised my glass.
“Cheers to getting what I want and a wonderful trip.”, he raised his glass as his eyes roamed my body.
I didn’t want to pry, but I agree with his toast. I clinked his glass, and we took a sip before taking off. Cheers to a wonderful trip and getting what I want sexually.
