The Club
It was an elite establishment that had been decorated by River Street’s finest. We walked in a side entrance to avoid the line wrapped around the front of the building. Inside was glamorous and sleek, it looked like a waterfall of neon colors.
It was a 4-story club with an open concept, so in the middle of the club, you could look up and see the other levels above. When you walk in it is dark other than the neon lights that surrounded each area. Each area was lit with a different color to help partygoers find their way around.
The bar was neon pink and situated on the left side and straight across the dance floor was the DJ booth that was neon blue. Ceiling fixtures were hanging from all over that had dangling neon jewels, each strand hung down about 2 feet. It looked like it was raining neon jewels in a waterfall-like pattern.
The dance floor was neon white which gave a good view to people watching. It was a large dance floor that looked like a 30-foot square. The floor looked like a lava lamp and lit up with each step. It was an artistic statement piece that enhanced the dancing experience.
The VIP section was against the wall on both sides between the DJ and the bar. The middle of each VIP section had a hallway, one was the main entrance and the other was the hall leading to the restrooms. The elevators to the other floors were located on each side of the DJ booth.
Cameron walked us over to a VIP booth. It was lit neon purple and was larger than my living room. It had a black modern U-shaped sectional that sat 12 people, with white fluffy cushions. There were two coffee tables in the center that had a liquor set up of top-shelf picks. Each booth had space to move around and dance.
The DJ booth was in the center of the stage and in front there were 6 go-go dancers to encourage the patrons to dance. The mix of music was in sync with the fog and strobe machines. The dancers wore a mixture of neon-colored outfits that consisted of layered lingerie pieces with thigh-highs and heels.
I can see why it was hard to get into this place. We sat down with a few other couples, but none of them Cameron seemed to know. I introduced myself to each of them since we were sharing a booth.
Cameron sat on the sofa and pulled me down to sit on his lap, it was his way of displaying that I was off-limits. It was the first time he publicly put a claim on me, but I could also see why it was necessary in this place. Everyone was dancing and sending out sexual vibes.
One of the guys in the booth poured everyone a shot and passed them around. We lifted them in the air while he gave his speech.
“Here is to good vibes, good times, and good sex tonight. May our future attitudes stay positive and future tests stay negative!”, then everyone yelled, tapped their glass down, and shot it back.
I was a few drinks in and feeling the music, so I started grinding on Cameron. I could tell he was enjoying the view because he never took his eyes off me. I wanted to get out to test out the dance floor, so I pulled him out there with me.
He was a thrill seeker, so he didn’t complain once. The music was pumping, and our bodies molded together. I turned my back to him and in one sexy motion bent down, slowly coming up while arching my back to accentuate my ass. I stopped at my knees as I began to twerk on him, and he was engaged with my movements by grabbing me and helping steady me.
I made my way back up and wrapped my hands around his neck as my back pressed against him. He ran his hands around my hips and started grinding on me. He could dance, damn could he get any hotter? He popped, rolled, and moved like he was working for tips.
He turned me around and picked me up, I didn’t care about anyone else in the room. He was working me like I was a bachelorette at a strip show. My legs wrapped around his waist and arms around his neck, he was bumping and grinding with the music. Our bodies were hot and our breathing heavy, I leaned my head down to kiss him.
He reciprocated and we were making out in the middle of the dance floor. I pulled back and looked at his beautiful light blue eyes twinkling in the neon lights. Part of me wanted to take him right here in the middle of the dance floor.
“I am going to go find the lady's room.”, I needed to step away before I jump him in public.
“Do you want me to walk you?”, he was so considerate.
“No, but thank you. I saw it when we walked in. I’ll meet you back at the booth.”, I kissed him before walking off.
I went to the ladies’ room to freshen up my makeup and tease my hair. It was a grand bathroom with soft dim lights, white marble flooring, and a pink velvet sofa seating area with complimentary water.
Needing a drink that wasn’t at the booth, I decided to stop by the bar on my way back to the booth. I ordered a drink and noticed Jared at the other end of the bar. We locked eyes and he waved.
“Just great.”, I spoke to myself.
He walked down to where I was, he appeared to be there alone.
“Hey Leah, I didn’t expect you to be here.”, he sipped his beer.
“I am on a date.”, looking around for my drink.
“Oh, I didn’t realize you were dating someone.”, he looked around for my date.
“I’m not in a relationship, just here to grind on him before I take him home to fuck his brains out.”, he spat out his beer.
“It was good to see you, enjoy your night.”, I grabbed my drink and walked away before he could reply.
Wow, I didn’t expect to see Jared here. I started walking back to Cameron, but it was packed. I started making my way to the wall and away from the dance floor. There was no way I would make it through the dance floor without spilling my drink.
But I bumped into someone spilling most of my drink on my shoe.
“Can tonight get any worse?”, again speaking to myself.
I sighed and knelt to wipe off my shoe with the napkin that was under my drink. I got back up and started making my way through the crowd.
“What are you doing here with him?”, I was grabbed from behind.
“Get your hands off…”, I stopped as I turned around and notice who grabbed me.
“Adrian?”, well this was awkward.
I usually feel his gaze on my body, but he must have just gotten here.
“Who are you here with Leah?”, he looked at me with a fire in his eyes.
“I am on a date.”, I spat and sat my drink down on the nearest table.
“Well, he can go home alone now, you’re coming with me.”, he tried grabbing me by the arm.
I pulled back, “No Adrian. I am not going with you. Why are you even here?”, I questioned.
“My company owns this club, so I work here. We are leaving.”, he pulled me by my arm.
“Hey asshole, get your hands off her!”, Jared saw me struggling and came to help me.
Jared walked up at a fast pace and before he got in Adrian’s face, I stepped between them. Using my hands on his chest to push him back. Adrian bowed up in a fighting stance, I could tell he was ready to beat the shit out of Jared for crossing him.
“I don’t need help Jared.”, I assured him.
“Who is he?”, Jared asked.
“This is the guy from the island.”, I told him.
I turned around to face Adrian, running my hand along his arm to calm him.
Adrian looked between us as Jared touched my shoulder. “Adrian, this is Jared. My ex-husband”.
“Are you here with him?”, Adrian asked with furrowed brows.
I looked at Jared, then at Adrian.
“No, she is actually here with me and will be leaving with me too.”, Cameron butted in.
I turned to him, and he pulled me in close. He was the smallest of the three men, but he acted as if he were willing to fight them off for me. I found that profoundly attractive and a huge turn-on.
I looked up at Cameron, “Can we go?”.
He nodded and Adrian tensed up with clenched fists.
“Jared, I’ll see you at work on Monday. And Adrian, I don’t have the energy to deal with you right now.”, and I turned to walk away with Cameron.
Adrian turned to the wall punching a hole in the synthetic brick. It caused a scene to erupt as patrons started to stare and talk amongst themselves. I lipped an apology to Jared and then turned back around to leave.
As I walked away, Adrian shouted, “Remember what I said at the resort Leah, you will think of me.”.
His words rang in my head. Cameron was very hot, but Adrian knew all the right buttons to press. The heated gaze never left my back as we exited the front of the club.
Jenny didn’t warn me about what to do when all three of the men I was fucking around with met. This is the reason I don’t go to clubs, but it was my decision on whom I went home with. Tonight, I wanted to leave the club with Cameron… tomorrow my mind may change.
