#Chapter 59:Not every woman is like Alicia

Third Person POV
I looked him over in amazement. He wore a navy blue suit with a black dress suit paired with black dress shoes. He was putting on his watch when I had finished putting on my stud earrings.
Gabriel walked over to me and pulled my hair out of the way to clasp a necklace gently on my skin. “Perfect.” He said as he stepped away from me.
“Now, if you are ready, the helicopter will be taking us to the destination.”
“Where are we headed?” I asked.
“To conduct some business and get you away from prying eyes,” he said as he pulled me into his body.

Third Person POV
The helicopter had taken several hours before Olivia could see the destination from the sky. She was in amazement at everything she saw from above. Alpha Herold never took her on the trips away and now that she thought about it show could not think of the last time he went to an away trip for Alphas.
When the helicopter landed, Gabriel stepped out first and held his hand out for his luna. She smiled at the chivalry that was shown to her. She looked around her and recognized the location where they had headed.
They were at the White House that was sanctioned by werewolves. The landscape around the around was crisp and green as they made their way towards the building.
As they walked down the pavement, security detail greeted the King and Queen as well as a female smiling at them. Or from what Olivia could tell at her mate.
Shake it off Olivia. Not every woman is like Alicia.
“Greetings, King Alpha Gabriel. It is good to see you at the White House,” the woman looked over at Olivia. “Queen Luna, I did not expect you to come today.”
The woman’s voice sounded almost like a growl towards Olivia. Olivia swallowed her comments and leaned into her mate and husband as they continued to walk to the front of the office.
“The Alpha King invited me to join him. I did not get your name. Who might you be?” Olivia said with a smile on her face.
The woman looked shock by Olivia’s comment. “My name is Virginia. I am the secretary for the White House between the President and the Alpha King.”
Olivia looked at the woman’s attire. It was somewhat appropriate for a secretary of this high a statue to dress in a tight skirt that barely touched her knees and a white top that showed hints of her cleavage.
Is this what Rebecca felt whenever Gabriel went to work on projects out of town?
Olivia pushed the thoughts of her wolf and Rebecca’s wolf to the side as they made their way to the front office.
The President was sitting at the desk, but he quickly stood up to shake Gabriel’s hand and kiss Olivia’s hand.
The President was a tanned man with short black hair that was peppered with gray streaks. He wore a black suit with a flag with a paw in the middle. It was the symbol of the Werewolves Nation. His smile touched his eyes so brightly.
“It is good to see you, Alpha King Gabriel. With everything going on, Virginia and I were under the assumption that you would miss today’s meeting.” The President said solemnly.
“What do you mean by that, President Fernadez?” Gabriel asked. Before the President could answer him, Virginia spoke out.
“What President Fernadez and I meant was that given your mate’s exploits in the tabloids and papers, we figured you would be busy reigning in her infidelity to attend the meeting.” Virginia said, looking at Gabriel. However, her eyes stayed looking at Olivia, liking she was speaking to her and not the men in the room.
“My personal affairs are between that and my mate, not for you to discuss with another leader of the sanction, Virginia.” Gabriel growled.
Before tempers could flare out anymore, Olivia put her hand on her mate’s chest.
“Virginia, first everything you stated came from the headlines of tabloids. The last time I checked, you being the secretary of the sanction, should you be avoiding gossip rags such as those?” As Olivia realized Virginia was trying to undermine her mate, she grew her words like venom as she did with Alicia.
“Further more as you mention, Gabriel is the Alpha King and my only mate. Not that it is any of anyone’s business. The affairs that the tabloids speak of are nothing but slander and lies.
To be honest, I thought you were here as a promiscuous woman that was trying to get in bed with my husband. But I see you are much worse. You are a snake in the grass that has no respect for anyone.”
As Virgina and Olivia got closer to one another, Gabriel stood in front, blocking the both she-wolves’ line of sight.
“President Fernadez, I do not know what lies our middleman has been spreading to you, but I assure you my affairs are in order, both professionally and personal. However, I cannot say that I like Secretary Virginia sprouting nonsense in her position. I would like her to be removed and replaced effective immediately.”
As they removed the secretary from the office, President Fernadez issued an apology to both Olivia and Gabriel. He asked that they stay for the dinner and spend the night in one of the guest bedrooms.
During the dinner, President Fernadez made a toast to the room welcoming the Alpha King and Queen Luna. He let all the werewolves all over the country know that the King and the Queen were still so sweet as usual. When Olivia asked Gabriel about the speech, Gabriel stated that the dinner was being televised to the nation.
When Gabriel and Olivia were finally alone, away from prying eyes, Gabriel apologized to his mate.
“I am very sorry, my queen.” Gabriel said as he kissed her temple.
“What are you apologizing for, my love?” she said, wrapping her arms around the waist of her mate.
“I did not want to put you in that situation. I wanted to see if you would be jealous, but I also wanted to see if you could scope out Virginia’s intentions. Could you forgive me?” Gabriel said.
Olivia answered her king with a kiss on his lips. As they undressed, she helped Gabriel out of his clothes and motioned for him to bring her to bed. He lifted her up off the ground and wrapped her legs around his waist.
Her dress she wore to the dinner slid up around her waist. Gabriel laid her on the bed and ripped the dress from Olivia’s body. She gasped at the aggression he was showing her and the desire in his eyes.
As Gabriel kissed her and left a trail of licks and bites down her body, Olivia cried out. It amazed Olivia at how her body reacted to Gabriel’s touch. Olivia was figuring out that both wolves dormant in her body were reacting to the wolf of the Alpha King as well.
Laying awake, Olivia turned and looked at Gabriel’s sleeping form. She pushed the hair out of his face and brushed her fingertips across his face. A thought had occured to Olivia aas she laid awake.
Was Gabriel really my second chance mate?
