Elena's point of view
I was startled to hear Lina's voice. "Dear," I said as I turned back. She said, "I just came to view the work here." "That is really thoughtful of you, Ms. Lina," I added.
Suddenly, I noticed her eyes fell on my neck and then moved her gaze away from me. "So you finally convinced him to change the plot," Lina said. "That's not the case, Lina. Derek gripped my waist, I smiled at him, and then looked out. Lina has just come to attack me. Thank God, Derek arrived just in time.
From the outside,
I noticed a girl emerging from the gate. I overheard her uttering a curse word in regard to Elena's name.
I gave her a sidelong glance. She got into her car and drove away. What is her name? Did I hear correctly that she cursed my Elena? What gives her the right to do that? She had no right to condemn my love. I got into my car and drove after her. I think my Elena was unhappy just because of her.
On the other hand,
I gasped as I hurried into Xavier's drawing room. "Eva," said my aunt Donna. "Are you all right, baby?" she asked. I sat on the couch and nodded yes. I noticed Mona and a group of others seated nearby. I gestured to a maid to give me a glass of water.
I took a peek around while drinking water. What happened to Xavier? I don't see him in this room. Isn't he supposed to be here? What happened to him? Was my word truly hurtful to him? I handed the glass to her and turned to face Donna Aunt. "Where has he gone?"
"He said he'd stay with you," she said. I took a long breath, then Donna Aunt realized that Xavier was with me. I truly responded in such a disrespectful manner.
"Have you finished speaking? Tell me where Xavier is! ", Mona asked. I asked, my brows furrowed, "What is the point of this? If it's about him, you'll have to tell me everything from now on. "
"Oh, my goodness. Then listen. I'd want my money back, or he'll have to follow them ", Mona said. "You want your money now?" I asked. She smiled at me carelessly.
"I know, what can he do? But I have a proposal, " she was going to add when I interrupted.
"My Xavier will never sleep with a boy or a girl. He is solely mine, " I said. "And you just wait," I replied, frowning, "because I'm going to give you the money, and I'm also going to the police to report about you for harassing my boyfriend and threatening him to sleep with other guys."
