I am fortunate to have her
"Da-dy," Pavlina said softly. "Baby," I said, as I approached her. She said, "Mo-ma sle-eping." She added, "Pick me u-p."
I gave her a kind smile. She looks just like her mom. I took her in my arms and walked out.
Elena, I don't want to wake you up. I'm aware of what's going on with you. You're going to be alright, honey. For the final time, I must put my trust in him.
After a while, Elena awoke.
I rubbed my eyes and sat on the bed. Where are Derek and Pavlina? I attempted to stand up, but I felt dizzy from my weakness. I carefully stood up and went to the restroom to freshen up. I took a closer look at the pill. Is it working for me or not? I don't think so; it's not working on me. I took the medicine script.
Someone unexpectedly knocked on my door. "Yes," I replied."May I come in, ma'am," a girl's voice said. Yes, I said. I noticed a girl enter with a tray and smiled at me. "It's for you, ma'am. Have it, please! ", She placed the dish on the table and walked away. I had a look at the various foods. Was all of this ordered by Derek? "Excuse me," I said, "I didn't ask for these." "You didn't, ma'am, but sir told me to serve you."
"Sir?" I asked.
"Yes," she replied. "My husband?" I asked. She smiled nervously while raising her brows. "Yeah, yes, I'm leaving," she said, attempting to flee, but I stopped her. I said, "Listen." "Yes," she said with a nod. "I have a question," I said. She fixed her gaze on me. "Have you ever seen your manager's wife and daughter?" I asked. "Ma'am, I heard he's married, but I've never seen his wife or daughter," she responded.
I let out a sigh. That girl walked out of the room.
I picked up the bowl and took a sip of soup. This flavor is well-known to his cook.
Ahh! I clenched my fist.
Elena, are you crazy? Now, don't state that the chief is Paul. My inner voice spoke up. I closed my eyes and said "no" with a nod. I took the bowl and began eating.
I finished everything on my tray and left the room to look for them. I went outside and soaked in the scenery.
"Babe," Derek's voice said unexpectedly. "Derek, where have you been?" I asked as I turned back.
"I was on the lookout for you guys." I asked, "Where is Pavlina?" "She was with me," he said, "but Ethan took her with him." Ethan? Why is he here again?
We were startled to hear a little girl giggling. We turned around and saw Ethan and Pavlina having fun. "See, she's there," Derek remarked. When I saw both of them together, I was taken aback. For a brief moment, my breath came to a halt. Surprisingly, it appeared that they were father and daughter. "Babe," Derek said as he shook my hand. I asked, "Derek, did you try the soup you ordered for me?"
"Soup?" asked Derek.
"Yeah, it was extremely good," I said. "But, babe, I didn't order any soup for you," he said. "What? Are you sure you didn't place an order for me? "I was taken aback and replied, "What are you talking about?"
"Yeah, I did, but not soup," Derek said. He asked, "Did they add something?" I looked at Ethan, nodded, and said, "No."
Pavlina took one glance at us and dashed over to Derek. "Da-dy," she shouted. "Did you enjoy my baby?" Derek asked. Pavlina nodded, "yes." Ethan approached us. I shifted my sight away from him. It feels a little awkward to me. He approached me straight and asked, "Mrs. 'How are you doing?'
"I'm OK," I said as I lowered my head. Pavlina pointed to something and said, "da-day, I want this." "All right, sweetie, let's go." "Stay here, Elena," he urged.
Derek had left me alone with Ethan.
I really don't want to face him, and I don't recall what happened last night. As a result, I began walking, but he eventually followed me. "Did you have a good night's sleep last night?"
I'm not sure why he gives me a familiar sensation. "Yes," I replied."Really," he answered, smiling. I fixed my gaze on him. His gaze was drawn towards me, and it was fixed on mine. "Mrs., don't stare at me like that; am I so horrible looking?" he asked. I really can not stop staring at him. What makes you think you'll be unattractive? "You ordered that soup, right?" I asked frankly.
His smile had faded all of a sudden. "What are you saying, Mrs.?" he asked, stammering.
I responded, "I know you ordered that soup." With an uneasy smile, he replied, "Mrs., your husband ordered that soup." "Do not deceive yourself. I'm not sick or having hallucinations, "I shouted. I burst into tears and dashed to the resort as soon as I said this.
While running up the stairs, I bumped into Han. "I apologize, Mrs." he replied. "It's OK," I answered, wiping away my tears. "Mrs., are you all right?" he asked. Yes, I said with a nod. "But you are," he was about to say, but I interrupted, "Mr. Han, it's nothing."
He smiled at me and asked, "Are you enjoying our place, Mrs.?" Yes, I said with a nod. "What about the food? Did you enjoy it? ", he asked. I lowered my head but said nothing. "Mrs. Didn't you enjoy the soup we served? ", he said. I looked at him when I heard him. "Soup?" I asked.
"Yep, Soup is today's breakfast special. We delivered it to everyone's room, "he explained.
What? I misunderstood him once more. "Mr. Han, the soup was wonderful. It appealed to me a lot. "I gave him a kind smile.
I commented, "You guys have some pretty great chiefs." I assumed he had ordered the soup for me, but I was mistaken. "My boss would be delighted if you guys were satisfied," he remarked with a smile. "Mr. Han, may I ask you a question?" I said, and he answered, "sure, Mrs." I asked, "Have you seen Mr. Ethan's wife and daughter?"
Mr. Han gazed at me for a moment before nodding. "I didn't see them, but I heard they lived in Spain. and he went to see them once a month, "he responded.
"Ohh," I said.
I'm not sure why I'm so disappointed to hear that. What did I expect? "Thank you, Mr. Han," I said. I walked towards to the garden after saying this.
I sat on the swing, enjoying the view of the sea. Ethan is not Paul. But why is it that every time he comes to me, my heart starts racing? "It's really lovely, isn't it?" said a voice from behind me. I turned over and saw Ethan. He sat beside me after giving me a glance. I shifted my sight to the opposite side. "Do you know, Mrs., why did I build this resort here? ", he stated. I stared at him, eager to know more. "Because my wife likes this type of view," he added. "Your wife is very blessed to have you," I said, looking out at the sea. "No," Ethan said, looking at me, "I'm so fortunate to have her."
