In a hall room
When my baby sliced the cake, everyone began cheering and singing. Time passes by at a breakneck pace. I fixed my gaze on Pavlina and Derek. They appear to be flawless. Derek is a fantastic father. Even more than Aaron, he adores Pavlina. Pavlina is his entire universe. I'm sure you're keeping an eye on everything, right Paul? You may have missed this moment in this life, but I will keep my words in my next life, Paul. We'll stick together.
Late at night,
Every single person has left. Pavlina was sound asleep in her room with Pom. Aaron was sound asleep in his crib. On the porch, I was standing. Elena appeared from behind and hugged me. "Derek," she said. "Babe," I said, as I returned my gaze to her. "Don't you want to sleep?" she asked. "I'll do it, babe," I said. Elena said, "What are you thinking?"
Elena's point of view
I observed Derek had been thinking about something since the morning. Derek appeared unconcerned at times, and I tried to find out why, but he never told me. With a smile on his face, Derek said, "Just enjoying the beautiful night."
What a liar. I'm sure you're worried about something. "Derek," I said as I pushed him into the chair and sat on his lap. "What is it, babe?" he asked. I asked, "Derek, who is Daniel?" Hearing me, his expression abruptly changed.
He asked, "Where did you hear this name?" "Do you think I'm unaware of you, Derek?" I said. "I simply want to hear everything from you. We've been married for seven years. You know all there is to know about me, so why can't you tell me about yourself? You always ignored my questions about your past and childhood when I asked it. Derek, why can't you trust me? ", I said. "Who is your brother?" I asked, adding, "Please tell me everything." Derek stared at me for a while before grabbing my hand and pulling me to his chest. "I'm Daniel, Elena," he said .
"How come you're now Derek?" I asked. "Honey, it's a long story," he said.
I said, "Tell me."
Derek's point of view.
I clarified, "My father died when I was four years old, but two years later, a man approached my mother's life." I added, "and he's William Reagan."
"What?" said Elena, surprised.
"Then Ron is," she tried to say correctly. "Yes, Ron is my step brother," I responded with a nod. Elena wondered, "Did he know who you were?" "I don't know, Elena . And I don't want to know, "I added. Why should I care? since my mum was killed by his father. Elena said, "I heard your mother died in a car accident." "Yes, and I was with her as well. But, I was lucky enough to live, "I replied. "Daniel," Elena said, as she caressed my face. I fixed my gaze on her. I felt an emptiness inside my heart. Elena said with a smile, "I'm going to call you Daniel from now on." And you have no idea what your mother is thinking as she looks down on us from above, Daniel. If she sees you upset, she will be sad as well ,"Elena said. Tears welled up in my eyes. I nodded and drew her close to me. You're now my entire world.
"Please don't misunderstand me, Elena, "I begged.
Elena's point of view
Suddenly, Derek said to not misunderstand him. I put my hands on his cheeks and cupped his face. Why do you think I'm going to misunderstand you? Now it's just you and me. "What are you saying?" I asked.
"Elena, if you find out one day that I did something wrong, will you leave me?" he asked. I gave him a kiss on the forehead and smiled. "You are my home, and you are the father of my babies." "I'm confident you won't harm us or allow others to do so," I said. "So there's no way to get it wrong with you, sweetheart," I said.
Derek paused for a moment to think. "Will you forgive me if you find out I made a mistake? " "Please say it again," he said. I sighed and drew him close to my chest. "Yes, I'll do it." "And I'm confident that my Derek will never do anything bad," I added.
"Elena, what if Paul comes into your life?" Derek asked abruptly, which could never happen. "Derek, what are you saying?" I asked. He said, "Please Elena, answer it." I was taken aback when he asked this question, but I knew the truth. He isn't going to come back to us. Derek is a little concerned for Pavlina as well. "Derek, you are my present and future, so don't think too much about this," I remarked with a smile and a pat on the head.
He grabbed my hand and said, "Elena." "You know, I only have one, right?" he asked. " Derek," I smooched his cheek as I said his name. "Hold on tight, you've got me," I added.
I said, "You're exhausted, baby," and "Let me give you a massage." He didn't say anything and just stared at me for a few moments. He carried me into the bed and said, "No, I want you." He placed me and began softly running his hands over my entire body. "Derek," I said quietly to him. "No. He whispered in my ear, "Call me Daniel." Daniel, I said, with a smile. I rested my hand on his broad shoulder, pushed him onto the bed, and sat on him. I'll be in control of the night.
