College

After that episode.

Derek's point of view.
When Elena asked about him, I was taken aback. "Why?" I asked Elena.
Elena's point of view
I made a brief stop. I don't want Derek to hurt Paul. Paul has hurt me greatly, yet I am unable to see him in pain. "Derek, I have something to say to you," I said.
Derek nodded. "Derek, Paul needs medical treatment,'' I said.
"Do not be concerned. I'll take care of everything for him ", Derek stated. "But, Elena, I have a problem," he added.
"Yes," I said.
"I don't like it when you show concern for him," Derek expressed his displeasure.
"I'm not going to do that. But all I want now is for him to be normal ", I stated. We had a wonderful childhood together. Every time I was in trouble, Paul came to my rescue. But today things are different; he is a completely different guy.
"Why are you sad?" he questioned abruptly.
"I'm not," I said as I shifted my gaze to the opposite side. "Elena, you can trust me. I'm not going to kill him ", he said. "Derek, please tell someone to give him food. He can't stand hunger, " I said.
Derek's point of view.
Elena, you genuinely care for him. But I'm afraid I won't be able to give you to him. Hearing this, I immediately took my phone and called the maid, telling her to give him food.

"Derek, will he be normal like before?" I asked. He said, "It depends."
"Elena," Derek said. He asked, "Do you want to see him?" I tightened my jaw. See him? I am unable to do so. No, I said with a nod. I'm not interested in seeing him. I've already found my way. I don't want to go back. I glanced at him and hugged him all of a sudden. Maybe it's because I'm trying to forget about Paul, or maybe it's because I'm trying to hide my tears.
Derek's point of view.
The first time Elena hugged me was after that night. I embraced her firmly and ran my fingers over her soft hair. So peaceful and quiet. I wish I could sleep like this all the time.
But, the driver unexpectedly stopped the car. "Sir, we are here," he said. Elena let go of the hug and stared out the window. "Derek," I called out as I looked out the window.
"Derek, it's my university," I said, excitedly. "So I can go to university," I said, a wide smile on my face.
"Yes," Derek responded, nodding.
"Thank you very much," I said, overjoyed. I never expected him to help me in this way. Why are you so good, Derek? You're making me weak.
"Are you happy?" he asked.
"Yes," I said, tears welling up in my eyes. But I'm not sure why.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Derek said, cupping my face in his palms. I smiled and said "no" with a nod. I'm simply crying because I don't deserve your love. I'll never be able to love you as much as you love me.
"I don't think I deserve you, Derek," I replied.
"Is that right? But I think I'm using you since you are the source of my happiness in life," he continued as he wiped my tears.
He kissed my cheek unexpectedly. I closed my eyes as I felt his lip.
"It's time for you to go to your class, honey," he added. I smiled as I nodded. His compassion is forcing me to accept him. He walked out of the car holding my hand. When we arrived on campus, everyone was staring at us, especially at Derek. I took a peek at him and then took a look around. After all, Derek is just too hot and handsome.
After a few minutes, I overheard some whispers, "Who's that handsome?"
Others commented, "Damn, look at his physique."
"And what about his blue eyes? Is he a model? ", another asked.
At the same time.
Tina and Nikita were walking down the corridor at the same time. Tina was startled when she noticed Derek. Tina poked Nikita and said, "Oh my God." I took a step back. Tina asked, "Who is he?" "Take a look at his figure, girl. I'm on fire! "Ishi expressed her sensual desire. "But, why is Elena with him?" she asked.

"Is he her brother? or her uncle, "Tina said.
"No, he's too young to be his uncle," Ishi said.
Tina laughed as she said, " Or maybe her brother?" Keep your mouth shut. Elena does not have a brother. I shouted, "Paul is the only brother she has " "Don't forget, Paul doesn't think of her as his sister," Tina replied, pinching me. "Shut up, Tina," I told her."Let me talk first," I said as I approached them.
"Hello Elena, I haven't seen you in the last three days. Where have you been? " I asked.
I noticed Nikita and her friends were coming at me. She abruptly stopped me, and I knew it.
I replied, "I was busy."
"I see," Nikita said, "but who is he?"
"It's none of your business, Nikita," I responded.
"Oh, so he's just another target for you?" laughed Nikita.
"Exactly Nikita, he is my new prey," I said, firmly clutching Derek's hand. We exchanged pleasant smiles.
"Elena!" someone said unexpectedly. When I turned back, I spotted Eva.
"Eva," I said with a smile. "Elena," she said as she dashed towards me. We didn't talk after that night. She cried out as she held me. "I'm sorry, Elena. Please accept my apologies ", she added. Why is she apologizing to me? I thought to myself. She hugged me and said, "Please, Elena." Then she knew that night. I called her name, "Eva."
"I called you so many times, Elena, where have you been?" she said. "I was very worried about you, but what I did was unforgivable, but still, dear, give me a chance," Eva said. "Eva, relax," I told her. "We'll speak about it later, but first meet with him," I said. I don't want to remember that night at all. Also I can't judge Eva only based on that incident since when my mother died and Paul let go of my hand, she was the one who gripped it and stayed by my side throughout my grief. Eva asked, "Who is he?"
"He is, without a doubt, my husband," I stated. Eva was taken aback and asked, "What?"
Tina whispered, "What?"
"No," Ishi said with a nod. Nikita frowned at Elena.
"Eva, yeah. I'm now married. Later, I'll tell you everything. "I said. "Derek, she's a friend of mine," I said. They exchanged a friendly smile.
Ishi murmured to Nikita, "Why does that chick always get the better one?"
Nikita said, tightening her jaw, "Anyway, Elena, I've come to ask about Paul. He hasn't shown up for classes in the last three days. What happened to him? " "I'm not sure," I responded calmly. "Oh, I see now you have a husband, so you've forgotten about the previous one, right?" Nikita taunted me.
"Girl, watch your language," Derek said fiercely.
"It's OK, Derek. Allow me to handle it ", I responded, a smile on my face.
"You couldn't keep him with you, Nikita. It was not my fault that you were unable to get him. He was the one who came to me all the time, "I stated. "You," Nikita said, reaching out to hit me, but Derek grabbed her hand. She whimpered in agony, "Ahhh." "Let me go, it's hurting," she yelled.
