14- Be free like the wind
-Oh God...
Casandra really wanted to know what had happened last night, the absence of memories generated a terrible helplessness in her. What she hadn't expected was to see herself in a video dancing in such a shameless and unrestrained way between two men she had never seen before, with a wide and silly smile drawn on her face, enjoying what she was doing and what they were doing to her, wiggling all the way down, staining the dress that wasn't hers and letting those two men grope her while she rubbed herself against them. That wasn't her, it couldn't be.
This is what you really are, a cheap slut who will give herself to anyone with just a glass of alcohol.
It said in the body of the mail
-Maybe they're right," she exclaimed quietly.
She had thought that everything that had been done to her at the party had been someone else's fault, but apparently not, she had brought it on herself.
Cassandra began to shake, she felt that the air was not getting into her lungs, she tightened her pullover at chest level and held on to the table so as not to fall and make a gratuitous spectacle of herself.
Sebastian, who had been watching Cassandra's every move since she had left his office, was alarmed to see the woman hyperventilating, dialed his secretary's extension and through the glass in his office watched her, waiting for her to pick up.
The phone rang and rang, but Helena didn't hear it, her ears were overwhelmed by the laughter of the other employees, of the music on the video and of her own thoughts.
"It's all your fault, this is who you are."
"Did you really think you were a decent woman?"
Flashes of a dark silhouette above him came to his mind.
-Helena..." exclaimed Sebastian arriving at Helena's desk, maintaining the demeanor and tone of a boss, but the only thing he achieved with that is that the named one looked up with a panicked expression and ran out of her desk, completely red with embarrassment knowing that her boss had seen her in such a promiscuous way.
The CEO didn't understand what was going on, and as he saw the other employees peeking out curiously he knew he was missing something.
-What's going on?
They all averted their eyes and pretended to keep working.
-Come on, tell me what I'm missing or I'll throw you all out on the street! And you know very well that I'm capable of doing that....
Mr. Aller ....- A shy woman spoke up from her desk- I think you should check your e-mail.
Sebastian looked at her quizzically, My mail? What did it have to do with anything?
Dead curious, he opened his e-mail on his cell phone, finding a new anonymous message, he looked around with a sharp glance before opening the video.
If he had not been in front of the gaze of all those eyes that judged his every move, he would have fallen to the ground in surprise, but he did not move an inch, clenching his jaw tightly and trying not to scream with anger at seeing his presidential secretary dancing as if she were a commoner with two donnadies.
-Who recorded this?" he ordered, hoping that someone would be brave enough to admit guilt, which didn't happen.
Who thinks they are so funny to send something like this to the company e-mails! Do they think that working here is a joke? This is a party? Nobody went, right? They are all innocent! They are deleting the videos from their cell phones right now and they better do it or I'm going to do it personally!
-Yes, sir," they all answered in unison, rushing to delete it.
-But sir...
-What?!" he shouted releasing his fury, causing the employee who spoke to shrink back in her chair in fear.
-It's just that... the video is uploaded to the internet.
Sebastian paused for a second, feeling his face red and hot, he couldn't allow Helena to be seen in that condition, he felt somehow humiliated and betrayed. She really was just like all the others.
-Darling, where do you think you work?
-Sir, I...
-Come on tell me, what does the company you work for do? -I don't know, you've been working here for over five years, haven't you?
-Yes sir ....
-It's a technology company my dear! We can delete the video! -You tell the technician to delete it as soon as possible or you'll all be out on the street for being useless.
-Yes, Mr. Aller!
Sebastian for a moment felt the magnetism of wanting to go and look for Helena, but he preferred to go back into his cave and slam the door shut.
Helena was crying in one of the cubicles of the ladies room, sitting on the toilet with her legs up and hugging herself, just when she heard the doors open she covered her mouth, silencing her crying, wishing they didn't know she was there, if they were already making fun of her in front of her boss she didn't know what they could do in private.
-He's not going to kick her out?
-I don't know, she seemed out of it when she saw the video.
-And yes, I would be just as embarrassed if my presidential secretary was a random slut.
-Yes....
-And that's why he had the video removed, it's a bad image for the company.
-Of course, it's not like she's doing it for her.
-Why would he do it for her? Katlyn is a complete and perfect woman, do you really think he would notice that poor woman?
-Yes, I don't know why I even thought about it.
The two women left the bathroom, Helena slowly walked out wiping away the tears that were still streaming down her face.
Had her boss done that for her?
Sebastian heard a knock at the door
-Who is it?" he exclaimed with annoyance, he didn't want to see anyone at that moment.
-Helena, sir..." The woman spoke fearfully.
The CEO sighed
-Come in
Helena passed with her gaze to her feet and hunched forward.
Sebastian did not believe her, she was faking it, it was clear, she was pretending to be a dead fly, in the video she did not look the least bit ashamed of it.
-Sir...
-What do you want? I'm really busy," she lied.
-I'm sorry, I just wanted to thank you for deleting the video, what you did for me?
-What did I do for you? -He laughed mocking her- Do you really think I deleted the video for you? For your dignity? You should have thought about that before exposing yourself like that, Deluna," he called her by her last name, opening more distance between them, "I did it for the company! In case you didn't know, we have a prestige that should not be tarnished, you should be thankful that I didn't fire you because it would be a justified cause for dismissal.
Helena kept quiet, swallowing her tears and trying not to let her eyes keep on shedding crocodile tears.
-You're right," she exclaimed, bending down even more, "I'm grateful that you still let me keep my job....
-Don't think that for too much Deluna, be careful what you do, today you have been lucky, tomorrow I don't know.....
-Yes sir.
-Go away," he exclaimed dryly, he couldn't see that rag of tears and lamentations made woman, he didn't want to soften up for her, the betrayal still hurt.
-Yes sir, I won't bother you any more.
Just as Helena was about to leave, Katlyn opened the door with force and came in with a shrill cry
-Hi honey!" she exclaimed passing by Helena without missing the opportunity to bump her shoulder hard, making the woman almost fall face first to the floor.
The blonde ran to her fiancé and jumped on top of him, sitting on his legs and planting a chaste kiss on his lips, all in front of the redhead who watched the scene with her cheeks burning and a feeling she had never felt before but didn't know how to qualify either.
Aller's fiancée stopped kissing her husband and turned with her feline and cruel eyes to Helena.
-What are you still doing there? You're such a pervert
-Sorry, I was just leaving
-Yes, go away....
Helena closed the door and Sebastian automatically pushed the blonde off him.
-You know I don't like you doing those things in front of my employees," he said.
-I'm sorry honey, I couldn't help it, you're so cute.
The blonde sat on the seat on the other side of the desk, leaning her long, beautiful legs on the desk, teasing her fiancé.
-I've already chosen the model of the wedding cake! And now I'm seeing what souvenir to give
-It looks fantastic to me," she exclaimed with little interest.
-It is, isn't it? Oh, you don't know what I just got in my mail- she moved forward on the desk, showing her breasts in front of the uncomfortable Sebastian- A video of your secretary's slutty secretary dancing with two men Can you believe it! She took all the limelight away from my bachelorette party- She pouted.
-I've asked everyone to delete it and I've already told the technician to remove it from the internet, you should do the same Katy.
The woman turned red with anger
-But you're going to kick her out, aren't you, Sebi?
-It's not that big of a deal, I already warned her that this is the last chance" Sebastian didn't want to say that he was really afraid of not seeing the woman anymore.
-But Sebi, that woman is not serious, she is tarnishing the name of the company, of your family!
-I've already had it deleted, after all, it's her private life, the one who should be reprimanded is the one who sent it to the whole company making a scandal.
Katlyn clenched her fists tightly, feeling that she had failed in her plan, her fiancé had not kicked the damn husband stealer out, she pretended to smile broadly with her teeth shining and approached her fiancé to give him a long kiss on the lips, so that he would not forget who his wife was.
-I have to go Honey, I still have to continue with the wedding preparations, I'll see you tonight?
-I think I'm going to stay late with some paperwork.
-Oh, that's okay, if you change your mind, give me a call.
She winked at him and walked out wiggling her wide hips towards the exit,
-Katlyn about last night... -Helena wanted to apologize to the woman as she walked past her desk, after all, she had been nice to Helena at her bachelorette party.
Listen, you second-rate bitch," she whispered, leaning against the red-haired woman's desk, who jumped back in intimidation. - Don't think you got away with it, your days at the company are numbered.
The blonde threw the papers that Helena had stacked on the floor, leaving glamorously and victoriously.
Helena crouched on her knees against the cold floor and picked up the papers in defeat, she had really believed she could start over with the woman and be friends, but she had screwed up once again. She had to be careful not to make another mistake or Mr. Aller wasn't going to forgive her.
"No more booze, no more parties and no more men."
