28- The way I fuck
The redhead took advantage of the moment when they lowered a screen and began to project images of the couple, to run away. Most of the pictures were of them separately, since they didn't have many moments together, except selfies that the blonde had taken from her cell phone and in which Sebastian didn't look very happy, there were some alone of the groom taken from his social networks or from photo shoots for some internet news, and many, but many pictures of Katlyn throughout her life, with her parents, her friends and partying and some of her modeling just to show how beautiful she was to all her guests.
Helena couldn't help but feel odd that there were none of Sebastian in his youth and childhood, but she quickly pushed that intrusive thought away and stepped out onto the balcony which greeted her with a cool evening breeze that made her feel alive again.
She gripped the railing and looked down as she sighed mournfully, she knew that at any moment her boss would notice her absence, but she needed a moment alone so she could endure that wretched wedding all night long.
-Don't jump please, if you do I'll throw myself behind you-
A sympathetic and mocking voice was heard behind the young woman, who turned quickly frightened by the surprise, causing her to stagger and almost fall into the void if it were not for the quick movement of the young man who held her tightly by her waist and brought her towards him leaning her against his chest. Helena lifted her face still in shock to find again that kind young man she had met that time in the company restroom.
She saw the mischievous smile on the younger Aller brother's face and couldn't help but smile, catching his charisma. Then she turned away from him in embarrassment.
-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.
-It's all right," the redhead answered without giving it much importance.
-It seems we are destined to have unconventional encounters, Helena.
The waitress was surprised that a man who could tell she knew a lot of important people remembered her name.
-It seems so, Mr. Aller," she joked, remembering that the boy had asked her not to address him as you.
-What are you doing here alone like a soul in pain," he said as he leaned on the railing next to the girl.
-I needed some fresh air, I was feeling a little dizzy and I wanted to be alone for a while before I had to go back to work," she answered without being ashamed to tell the rich man that she was not there to party but to work.
The young man didn't seem bothered to know that he was talking to a simple employee, and smiled in a friendly and understanding way.
-Do you want me to leave you alone?" he asked, moving a little away from the railing.
-No, it's okay, stay.
Alan smiled and leaned on the railing again.
-Why do you want to be alone? Isn't your brother getting married? Shouldn't you be with him? She couldn't help asking because curiosity was killing her, from what little she knew, Alan didn't get along with his boss, but that was something normal between brothers.
Alan erased his big smile for a moment, remembering that on the other side of the window his lifelong love was very close to his hateful brother and that in just a few hours she would say yes and it wouldn't be with him, but then he put his mask of false feelings in front of the redhead again, showing an expression of sadness a little exaggerated.
-I tell you a secret that many don't know, but only because I like you.....
Alan slyly turned his face back and watched the party through the glass. He smiled sideways, showing his shiny teeth and sharp canines, and the darkness that was drawn on his face was directed at Sebastian who was watching in the distance the scene of his secretary conversing with his younger brother.
Alan showed him a victorious expression and moved closer to Helena, sticking shoulder to shoulder and leaned to her ear to tell her his secret without taking his eyes off Sebastian, knowing that he was boiling with anger at that moment.
-I have loved Katlyn all my life," he said, and Helena turned away to look at the young heir with a surprised expression.
-Wow... I didn't know...
-She's the love of my life, you know? I was thinking of building a nice house and having a good position in my father's company before I asked her to marry me, but..." Alan sighed heavily, squeezing the railing tightly, felt the little woman's warm hand on his shoulder in support and smiled in gratitude, "But you see my brother went ahead and asked her to marry him. He always knew of my love for her, yet he did it?
-I... I... don't know what to say... how sorry I am....
-It's okay, don't worry, I'm working on it. - he lied.
Helena felt terrible, she never thought that a man as nice and gallant as that boy would fall in love with a woman like Katlyn.
"Poor guy" she thought "With so many good women in the world, he just falls in love with her... and worse, his brother betrayed him like that..."
-Well, enough of sorrow, how about a game?
-A game, I'd love to- he said not to be rude- But I have to get back to work or I'll get kicked out ....
-Don't worry about that, let's play and if you win I'll pay you for the day's work?
-And if you win?
-Well...
Alan leaned closer to Helena and whispered in her ear seductively
-If I win, you owe me a date.
Helena watched him blushing with her big blue eyes, she couldn't refuse the young man, not after he opened his heart confessing his feelings for Katlyn.
-Okay..." she answered quickly and without thinking about it.
-He exclaimed with joy.
-And what's the game?
-Well- Alan took the waitress by the shoulders and turned her towards the window, from where they could see all the guests talking- If you guess what the guests do, you get points, if you guess wrong, you get a discount until you lose.
Helena thought the game was stupid, how was she supposed to know that? But when she saw all those shallow people overflowing with lust and greed, she couldn't help but judge them by their appearance:
-Mmmm that one over there- she pointed to an old man in his 60's with a big belly and an unkempt look who was wearing a very expensive watch and several gold rings- He has a company of dubious income and...She- she pointed to the beautiful woman who was nodding smiling at everything the man was telling her- she can't wait for him to die to keep everything....
Alan burst out laughing loudly and Helena laughed too, red as a tomato, she had never said anything like that, she had always been careful with her words, avoiding judging people, but Alan was just as tempted as she was, and he didn't seem offended by Helena criticizing those who were of the same social class as he was.
Helena had hit on almost everyone, concluding that they were all just as empty as they appeared in public.
-You've won," exclaimed the young man wiping away a treacherous tear from laughing so much.
The redhead raised her arms in victory.
-And promises are due," Alan sent a message from his cell phone.
-What are you doing?
-I texted my secretary to bring you some clothes for the party, you're not working anymore today, we're going to have fun like everyone else.
-Alan, it's been fun playing, but I really have to get back to work....
-Please Helena! I'll pay you for the day, even double! You've earned it fair and square.
Helena looked in and for a moment she felt that Sebastian was watching her.
"Maybe it was just my imagination" She thought as she turned her light blue orbs and saw him looking away indifferently.
-Don't worry about them, you're going to be fine with me- spoke the young Aller pulling her out of her thoughts.
-It's all right," she said shyly.
"Maybe a little fun wouldn't hurt."
