8- I propose you a deal

The lady closed the door behind her, leaving the young brunette with the dress in her hands and confusion on her face. She lifted her garment in front of her in anger and tossed it carelessly to the side.

“He's crazy if he thinks I'm going to wear that damn dress,” she snorted to herself.

"I need to get out of here," she murmured, thinking about her possibilities. She had no idea where she was, whether she was near her house or even in the same city.

She remembered that her kind wife had told her that some men were waiting outside her room to take her to the dining room, sure she was the bodyguards of the idiot called “Mr. White.” The young woman was familiar with that type of people and she was more than sure that this mysterious man was not someone to trust and she was very clear that “Breakfast” was not going to just mean that.

She looked desperately everywhere. There was a door that led to a bathroom the same size as the room, but nothing more, she retraced her steps towards the room and knew that the only way out was the window.

"Well, here we go," she exclaimed quietly walking towards the large window that she opened carefully, trying not to make noises that would alert the people on the other side.

When the window opened, a gust of wind pushed her back hard, and when she leaned out of it causing her hair to swirl around her head, she felt vertigo in her chest.

He was tall, very tall, he was on the second floor of a large house that opened to the sides into thousands of windows and in front of it was a large patio with what seemed like a personal forest. In the distance she could see the road.

“If only I could get there,” she thought worriedly.

She looked down and saw that the wall outside jutted out enough that she could stand on it and that same floor led to what looked like a drop off which she could jump and maybe with luck just twist an ankle.

“Come on Helena, you can do it,” she gave herself courage as she took a deep breath and gained enough momentum to sit on the window frame.

"Well, here we go," she exclaimed, carefully lowering one of her bare feet against the floor on the other side.

"Miss, is she already dressed?" A voice coming from outside the room disoriented her and made her desperate, stepping hard on the other side and clinging to the window frame with trembling hands.

She didn't answer and just continued passing her body through the window.

The door opened slowly, as if the bodyguard was afraid that seeing his boss's guest in her underwear would cost him his job or her life.

-Miss?

When she looked up and saw her dress on the floor and no trace of the woman, she panicked. Until her desperate eyes met those of the young woman who was looking at him from the window.

-Miss! "She's going to fall!" He exclaimed, running towards her.

“Shit, shit,” she thought, looking out the window and passing her missing leg, ignoring the vertigo she felt when she no longer had the safe floor of the room to save her.

If it hadn't been for the bodyguard grabbing her arm, Helena would have thrown herself into the void, because she preferred to die than be in the hands of those people who had enough money and power to get rid of her without anyone knowing.

The young woman had no idea what she had done or what had happened to wake up in that mansion that looked like a castle, but what she did know was that she had to avoid being kept there at all costs.

"Let go of me!" She screamed when she felt the man's arms lift her up and put her back in her room, falling on top of the bodyguard due to her strong push.

Helena quickly got up and looked at the open door of the room, this was her chance. She ran with all her might, but another man stood blocking her only way out. She didn't hesitate to punch him hard on the cheek, making him stumble backwards and leaving the way clear for her.
Helena ran down the long hallway with her heart in her throat and sweat on her forehead, praying that the exit was close, but no, there were more men. They seemed to come out from under the earth! She didn't know how many faces she punched and kicked until she was tired.

She breathed heavily, brushing her hair from her forehead and feeling proud that she still maintained her fighting techniques to perfection. She smiled victoriously and began to walk down the hallway, but suddenly she was lifted into the air and as if she weighed nothing. Her stomach ended up on someone's shoulder.

"Let go of me, damn you!" She screamed and hit the man's back with her fists.

"Calm down, miss, we're late for breakfast," the man said calmly, taking her down the stairs without any problems.

"I don't give a shit about damn breakfast!" she screamed.

-I can tell, you didn't even put on the beautiful dress that I left for you in the room-

"That voice…"

"Put me down," she growled at the man who kept her back to her suspicious voice.

The bodyguard looked at her boss who nodded and carefully lowered her to the ground. Helena glared at the man who had dared to lift her and slapped him hard.

"Are you going to continue beating my men for much longer?" the mafia boss exclaimed, amused.

"Let me get out of here and I'll stop doing it," she growled, turning towards the voice that sounded familiar. "You?" she exclaimed, bewildered. "Are you Mr. White?"

"At her command," she exclaimed, bowing mockingly. He walked towards the young woman who retreated defensively. "Calm down..." he murmured, looking at her with his dark, penetrating eyes that seemed to pierce her skin.

"Let me out," she ordered.

-No one is stopping you from leaving.

"Good..." she said walking towards what seemed like her exit.

"Wait..." the young man exclaimed, taking her arm. "Let's have breakfast first, we have a lot to talk about. Don't you want to know how you got here?" He said incredulously.

Helena rolled her eyes, huffed, and forcefully released her grip.

She looked at him defiantly, holding her honey gaze in her captor's night-colored eyes for what seemed like an eternity. Until she looked away from her and sat in front of the table. Ivan smiled amused and sat in front of the young woman.

An employee quickly approached with several plates that had fruit, cereals, breads, jams, orange juice and hot infusions.

-Come on, eat.

Helena looked at him suspiciously making the young man roll his eyes.

-Do you think he is poisoned?

The young woman did not answer and she only tightened her frown by crossing her arms.

-It's okay- She gave a taste of each thing- Are you happy?

Helena lowered her honey-colored eyes toward the saucers.

“To tell the truth, everything looks delicious and I'm dying of hunger,” she thought as she felt her stomach growl.

She took some fruit and ate under the satisfied gaze of the young man, who only watched her eat in silence without trying another bite.

She looked like a poor street girl, with her big clothes 5 sizes bigger than her, her hair messed up by the wind and the strange and suspicious way in which she watched him while she ate, she couldn't help but smile widely showing the her teeth.

“He really does look adorable,” she thought.

Helena sighed contentedly and got up from the table.

"Thank you for breakfast," he exclaimed with the intention of getting out of there once and for all, he needed to go back to his house, to his life, to see how his business was going, if his uncle was okay, he had a debt still pending, he thought, remembering that He probably hadn't gotten the money at night and the thugs probably destroyed everything.

-You're leaving now? You do not want to know….?

"You know what?" she exclaimed, turning to the young man with black hair who for some reason made her uncomfortable. "How did you take advantage of me last night?" No thanks, I hope you enjoyed it-

"Do you really think I'm that kind of person?" She exclaimed, pretending to be offended. Then he got up from his seat and walked towards the young woman who looked at him with her bright honey eyes, noticing the difference in height between them, his stocky body, his broad shoulders and how well the black shirt looked on him with the unbuttoned buttons on it. they let us see...

“What the fuck am I thinking?” She exclaimed within herself and took two steps back.

But Iván did not let himself be defeated, and he shortened the distance between them again, Helena retreated again, her back collided with a piece of furniture behind her, she was trapped. The man's sharp face approached her ear and she whispered:
-I just saved you from the clutches of an idiot. Because you distrust me, but with an idiot like the one you were with that night you had no problem drinking the cup he gave you.

Helena opened her eyes as wide as she could and looked at him in surprise. Although her voice had sounded mocking, the young man's face was serious as if she remembered the anger she had felt that night when she saw that idiot on top of the young woman.

-h-he….?

"Yes, he drugged you, a leech like him would be able to do that, you shouldn't trust people like him," she exclaimed, trying to hide her annoyance. After that she walked away leaving the young woman in shock, who could remember some things from last night, such as that idiot's unpleasant mouth on her neck, she instinctively put her hand there and her face contorted into an expression of disgust.

-Peaceful…. He didn't get to do anything else to you, thanks to me giving him a good beating.

-But how? Did you know...? -She exclaimed surprised.

The young man's cheeks flushed dangerously, he had given himself away.

-Clear….

-As you know…?

The young man laughed.

-Girl, I know everything, it's a nice name Lola, it's a shame you can't lie to me for a long time.

Helena growled and turned red with anger.

"Are you going to tell me why I'm here and why you were looking for me in the first place?" She protested.

"You're welcome to save you," she exclaimed, rolling her eyes. Yes, you're tough, I like it- he smiled amusedly, making the young woman blush.- Well, I'll tell you, what you did the other night was incredible.

Helena blushed redder if possible, though her frown didn't ease.

-I wanted to propose a deal to you.

-A-A deal?

-Yes, I want you to work for me, for my family. The Sol Group, does it sound familiar to you?
